I appreciate your sharing your knowledge with us fellow potters. Anyone who does not not appreciate this video has probably not tried to glaze. I am impressed with everything you do!
The effects from the of Rutile and Vegas Red glazes blending with one another really inspires some news idea for coating the new body structure of the mugs that I've been experimenting with as of late. I thank you for this,
Dear Sir, what a marvelous time I have spent watching all your videos ! You are not only an artist, but a very good teacher ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from France ! Patrice
please tell me she dips the first and second time in one and the same glaze? or it is not the icing. What color is it. Thank you if you help but I do not understand her language.
I was only looking to find a video to explain which paint is safe to use on mug. I fell onto your video and was amazed. It wonderfull seing a pro at work, great insight on your knowledge and your process
I would love to know the difference in the weights of the mugs after glazing. All of your work is beautiful, and thank you for being so generous with your time and knowledge.
I just started a pottery class so I’m very much a beginner. Next weeks class is glazing our pieces. I’m very nervous about it. But thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Simply magnificent! What a spectacular result and reward for your attention to detail and tireless work. Thank you for sharing this with me. I am going to try your glaze combination with my futile and res glazes.
I do not know anything about ceramics except how to use them ..... However , your mugs are beautiful and I had the knowledge necessary to create such beautiful objects~
Hi Hsin Chuen Lin I love your videos and and always looking forward to getting new ones. Can you tell me which colors you used on the outside of your mugs. I think you said Rutile but I could not get the red. Would really love to find out.
So nice glazing and thank you sooooo much for your advices very precious to me ! Too you live far away from my home town in France .... But maybe once I 'll meet you for real, if you come for an exhibition in my country or If I cross the blue ocean.
What cone number do you use for this glazes? It is a very beautiful effect. Thank you again. I have been away from pottery for almost a year but I am back, still using your tools, they are great!

your mug is exquisite! Thanks so much for sharing. My current favorite is to use "tan to teal" as the "base" coat and then rim dip with "Jade". It makes a beautiful pattern, but I have been having trouble with the glaze running all the way to the bottom and pooling ...I think your technique will solve the problem. thanks! p.s.- how do you pronounce your name? I tell people about your videos/etsy shop, and I would like to pronounce it correctly.
thank you very much this helps me a great deal. Rifht now I'm trying different methods of underglazing chattering marks and clear dipping over. if you have any instructions on this please let me know.
@@hsinchuen yes i watched a video where you showed them. I love your results. I can only fire to cone 6 for now but I'm looking for a new use cone 10 kiln I might build one, I made a jig to grove and cut firebrick for any style of kiln. I have a brick distributor near me. I was thinking about designing one using the brick on edge for full-thickness Thank you for all of your help. it means a lot to me..
I am so confused. Everyone says my glaze comes out so bad because I hold it under for too long...but he dipped much longer than I do and his result is so beautiful. Is it because Rutles is so runny? I will try what he just taught...because I am very discouraged by my nice pieces all coming out looking so awful.
I appreciate your sharing your knowledge with us fellow potters. Anyone who does not not appreciate this video has probably not tried to glaze. I am impressed with everything you do!
Thank you Hsin-Chuen Lin
