That kit is so well tuned and sounds great. I was considering that Starclassic W/B before I bought my last kit but I think inflation raised the price from what it was originally. A bit more than I was willing to pay but the finishes look great and the hardware looks very well made.
It does sound very good to use as fills. I've been using it for years. But i never knew it had a name, lol Learning there's a name for it is even cooler, lol

This is just my thinking or personal opinion behind it but I think overall it's better if it's played as intended with left hand ending. You would have to be doing three individual right hand strokes while moving to a different drum it would be much better to move your right hand out of the way after it's free to the next drum for the next herta to start easy

I wish i could know how you tune your edible sounding toms!!!!!! Whatever I do to try to make them sound good like this, never work and i just spend hours and it sounds terrible

Why do you end your RLR L with L, and not R? If I would play that through, wouldn't it become RLR(L)R?
