Healthiest Bottled Water At Whole Foods & What To Avoid
Вставка

- How to buy the best water at Whole Foods: First, avoid anything that comes in plastic because it may have been exposed to heat and could contain harmful chemicals or BPA. Alkaline Electrolyte Water which is in plastic, so pretty bad; this one claims to be enriched with minerals but isn't a natural source of them. We also have Essentia, which is also in plastic - terrible choice, it contains sodium bicarbonate, which can actually make you feel thirstier. Then there's Smart Water, not very smart because it comes in plastic and also has sodium bicarbonate added.
Better options include glass bottles: this mineral water is from springs, making it a more natural source of electrolytes - much better! Another option I like is the Mountain Valley Spring Water which comes in a glass bottle as well and is sourced from a spring, providing a natural source of electrolytes. So, the verdict goes to the Mountain Valley Spring Water from Whole Foods.

I’m traveling today and the store I’m in is sold out of Mountain Valley spring water. I chose Saratoga spring water (glass bottle).
Saratoga is a good replacement
Strange question, what about using a refillable bottle (glass or ceramic or stainless steel) and a water filter against the tap or filter from the refrigerator? I know refillable bottles can trap germs over time if not cleaned and cared for properly and I know those tubings in the refrigerator water dispenser can collect mold and essentially become toxic regardless of filter used. If you’re able to offer your thoughts on this in future or later videos, that would be cool. Thanks a lot for your help doc! ❤
My question is how do we know these spring water sources are really clean. We don't know really if there is any pollution near the water sources and how does it get to the bottling place?
@@judithschneider6202 Good question! it most certainly goes through rigorous testing and there are systems that monitor at several nodes from the spring source all the way until the bottle. Besides most spring sources are heavily guarded and secured. So if anyone wants to be a “wise guy” it would more than likely cost them their life. Also, that’s just from my understanding because we have several protected water ways and springs near me and it’s so heavily gated and guarded it’s almost impossible to get in. Besides most springs usually begins way high up into the mountains and or way underground and trickles down or up through these aquifers and mineral deposits which eventually will lead into a fresh water stream or body of water of some sort and generally safe to collect/drink. (Running water is a good sign vs stagnant water). Most of our fresh water is trapped in glaciers apparently. Also, definitely look into some wilderness water filters so you can have an idea of the water filtration process on a smaller scale. ❤️
Thank you very much. So kind of you to explain. ❤❤❤❤❤
@@EyezofdarkfireThanks!
Can one of you please start a water co that uses glass bottles & good clean water so we don't have to cross are fingers and hope what we're drinking just pure clean water ...thank you. Gosh!!
The best way to buy water is in a can. Aluminum is nearly infinitely recyclable and light weight. Single-use plastics are difficult to recylce, and glass weighs so much that it seriously ups carbon emissions during transport. Truly, the best solution is to use a resuable water bottle that you already have at home and not go out and buy a new one to keep up with trends
And travel about 45 miles to buy it.
Ive been drinking Eternal water since 2015
So not quite eternally. 😅🙂
The minerals are just added for taste. (100% pure water tastes pretty bad.) You shouldn't be expecting to get any real micronutrients from water. It's... water
Oil for frying on budget an healthy
My opinion from reading what people like Joel Fuhrman MD say over the years is that we should not eat any oil. I know that after going without it completely for years, then eating a raw coconut wrap containing coconut oil, I got a zit the next day.
How much does the Mountain water costs?
About $2.69 per 16 ounce bottle.
Cheaper by the case.
I buy it by the case and sometimes sprouts will have it on sale
