How to make Shiitake Mushroom Cream Pasta

  • I made Shiitake Mushroom Cream Pasta by cookery researcher Yoko Arimoto.
    ■Ingredients (for 2 servings)
    200g pasta
    6 to 8 shiitake mushrooms
    1 pack shimeji mushrooms
    1/4 onion
    2 tablespoons butter
    200ml fresh cream
    25g parmesan cheese
    1/3 teaspoon salt
    A pinch of pepper
    ■Directions
    1. Remove the stones from the shiitake mushrooms and cut into 4 pieces by hand.
    2. Finely chop onion.
    3. Put butter and onion in a frying pan and saute until softened.
    4. Add shiitake mushrooms and shimeji mushrooms, sauté until wilted, add cream and cook until slightly thickened, season with salt and pepper.
    5. Turn off the heat, add the cooked pasta and stir to combine.
    6. Finally, add parmesan cheese and serve.
