漫画原稿 アナログ 作画作業
絵を描いている身からすると3時間程度でこれを描きあげているということに驚愕しかありませんでした。
ここまで描き進んでまだこんだけしか経ってない…！？となっていました。
腕の使い方もスピードもその精度も全然違うんですね…！
今までペラペラ読み進めていた
ページ1枚1枚に約3時間程もの長時間を
掛けて細かく描き上げられていたなんて……
これからは隅々まで見るようにします。

-Actually, they don't work like this anymore... its all digital now a days.(Yes paper and INK were the core, decades ago, but now a days is just more convenient to be able to redraw and resize things digitally. Plus, don't forget the fact you don't need to resupply materials every now and then(Yes you can't use any paper you want materials wear down ink, nibs), since all you need to go digital is spend a few extra bucks at the start and you are ready to go. Plus in traditional media, "drawing Mistakes" happen depending on the severity you might have to scrap an entire page and redo EVERYTHING again. And that's a " No NO! " when you have strict deadlines to meet, plus you need to be 3-6 chapters ahead of print, to be able to even start being serialised.
-But if you really wanna see how manga is done, check this anime then "Bakuman" (same creators of "Death Note"), you welcome. Although they use tradicional Art(because its more exciting), you will learn about everything, dead lines, the editorial department, dates, schedules, story creation, narrative, serialising, etc.

Honestly I'd love to be able to find drawings like this, inked and in manga panel style, to hang as decorations. I wonder if there's a place that sells stuff like this because I would love to buy some.

@@amae8145 I don't know how often it happens in Japan, but in the US manuscripts eventually can end up in the public's hands, usually as a collector's item many years after the publication

@@moonsvc yeah, i think they gathered that from the video lol. ppl like me who have goals to illustrate manga for a living still see it as a perfect job, since its what we enjoy, so we dont see it as difficulty, we just see it as something we have to do and like doing ^^ i hope that cleared things up. despite its difficulty and how demanding it is, a job as a mangaka is extremely appealing to people like me and possibly this commenter too

So you basically make 2 rough sketches, then pencils and then ink. Digital tools would save you a lot of time and effort, my friend. Your work is awesome but you could (and should) make it more efficient. Thanks for sharing!

1 page=roughly 3 hours. by extension your typical 20 page weekly chapter takes 60 hours to realize. thats more hours than your 9 to 5 job. kudos to all mangakas lol

What type of paper do you use and what are your pencils?
I don't specifically know whats being used in the video, but DELETER brand paper and materials are really popular amongst Mangaka.

paper is Icy 135kg Im-35b B4 Thickness Manga Manuscript Paper Professional Use 40 Sheets, he has an Amazon link to it.
He lists the pens but didn't seem to list the pencils he used in this video. Check his descriptions on different videos, I'm sure he's listed them at some point.

it takes me like 8 hours to finish a single page, sometimes less, very frustrating, & the result is mediocre when compared to that of a professional.
I'm an amature, I only started drawing like few weeks ago or so, before that the only experience I had was drawing a house, a tree & a river when I was a kid (I'm in my twenties now), I intend to draw nothing but hentai doujins.
I'm currently drawing a doujin of the Anime/Manga Claymore, this is my first one, it will be Futa & obviously no tentacles or ugly bastards, I intend for it to have 30 pages, I currently finished like 8 or so, some of them definitly need some corrections.

good look in your plans for drawing, but if you have any significant amount of studying that you need to do (for college?) then don't compormise, remember the artist in the video makes a living out of it so he can dedicate all the time for drawing unlike us who do it just for fun.
regarding my project of drawing hentai doujins I too will have to postpone that, I'm currently a dental college student so I need to dedicate quite alot of time for studying & at least for now forget about drawing, maybe at best I could draw one page at each week end & that's it, probably even that would be difficult, I cannot compromise on college for the sake of drawing fap material for other people.
Update: for those who wonder what happened to the doujin I was drawing, it's not finished yet & I have no idea when will it finish, I scaled back my plans so instead of 30 pages it will have 18 or so pages including the cover, I have finished 14 pages & I disposed of several of the old pages that I drew because the mistakes in them looked beyond repair, in addition occasionally I do redraw many of the pages when I think something really needs fixing, however most or all of the pages I drew lack certain parts mainly the genitalia & the butt, when ever I draw a character & get to the part where I need to draw the genitals I just leave it & say "I will come back to it some other day" however today I finnaly decided it's time to draw the genitals on the previous pages however since I'm still learning it took me quite a while, for example I spent 2 freaking hours today drawing a pussy, it was the first ever pussy that I draw , then I spent 5 more hours drawing the butt & the penis however I'm satisfied with the result.
This may sound contradictory to what I said previously but I have no doubt the doujin will be uploaded this month, I don't mean to sound weird but when it does get uploaded frankly I will feel happy if I knew some one fapped to it because that would be most the sincere compliment.
