Hearing Audrey, sing me to sleep. Her beautiful sound, the warmth from the vent near my bed. My red and green plaid blanket, so heavy. The cat named Casey softly snoring next to me. Perfection.

This is so relaxing and takes me back to my childhood and listening to my parents playing this music. I am a child of the 1950s and it really was a time of hope and new beginnings, my parents were very young and so proud of their radiogramme and record collection. When i was a child I used to get this strong feeling of longing whenever i watched old disney movies or whenever i sat in the living room with my father when he managed to catch one of the old movies, the black and white ones, on the movie channels. It felt so nostalgic, i yearned so hard for it, which is funny because it'd be a time where someone like me, black and African, wouldn't have been exactly welcome 😅😅
