My favorite Barbie was the Pink & Pretty one from 1981. All of her outfit pieces matched and were interchangeable! Back then, stores usually had an entire aisle of individual outfits you could buy, so lots of fashion fun.

I'm with you re: the fashion sketches with Margot's face! The sketches are stylized in such a strongly traditional way, and plonking a photo realistic element on them is really tonally dissonant. It's meme energy, just unintentional lol
I love the composition of this video! It is extremely satisfying to watch because of how well you centered everything, and the camera angle being perfectly flat really shows it got. Not even sure how you pulled this off while still being able to look at what you’re flipping through!! Really well done

Oh yes the Totally Hair Barbie brings back memories! I definitely had one! Also this brings back memories of my grandmother making her grandkids’ Barbie clothes. She even made entire wedding gowns and she was so good at it! ❤ Anyway this video is awesome, book page flipping + whispers are heaven already but this one is so much fun to watch as well!
I still vividly remember getting a beautiful Christmas Barbie in a stunning red dress with gloves. It also came with an emerald green gown. Her hair was blonde and had perfect waves. Such a nostalgic feeling watching this.
