They ALL ARE AWESOME ALL THE WAY BACK TOO UNDERTOW IN 1991-92 They are Masters of thier instruments even Maynard as a vocalist and a songwriter because from what I heard from Danny carries interview they write the music prior to Maynard writing the words to the music and It just fits perfectly in and it's bloody awesome love this band love love love them!!!!!!
BRST REACTION NO STOPPING AND GABBING.. Both of you were just mesmerised by thier music and that is what's so great about too...l is they leave you mesmerized you can't say nothing while they're performing because you want to suck it all in!!
It took 14 years for Tool's new album to come out. My uncle was a huge fan and died a couple years ago. He was hoping for 1 more album by them before he passed on. He didn't get to hear it. But he experiences it when I blast it through my car speakers
The more you go down the rabbit hole with TOOL the more you'll understand them and their ways of making their music so solid and pure like nobody else can 😳🤔🧐
this is a good way of putting it.. pure musicianship.. its amazing how an entire band can be so tight on the most complicated polyrhythms.. it sounds off, but correct.. evokes new feelings in your earballs.
Pneuma: the vital spirit, soul, or creative force of a person. I love how you listened intently and kinda became one with the music. This band makes music that draws ya in... one of my favorites. Have a Happy and Blessed New Year and keep your “pneuma” alive and curious..lol
she's the first reactor i've ever seen notice his legs going non-stop in the solo before it actually cuts to the shot of him on the double bass drum. most people don't realize he's doing that until they actually see the shot. attention to detail is what separates reactionaires.
Best drummer of all time. No doubt. The time doesn’t just be on the big slams, the drum rolling is timed out. The drummer is timing everything it does. I say it, cuz it is a god on this earth.
Welcome to Tool. On the surface they are all great musicians especially the octopus. But. The music is a state of mind in the universe. Breathing. Wake up remember. Blessings
An Adam Jones guitar cam would be a dream come true. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would list Adam as if not their No. 1 then surely in the top 5 favorite players.
He's one of the best Drummers of all time if not the best around currently now that Neil Peart passed away. For guitar there isn't a video where it's just all Adam Jones but check out 7empest, Prison Sex, H, 4Degrees for guitar. 46&2 for bass and Pushit Salival version, The Pot, for vocals
@GKeeper316 Maynard gets the tracks after they are written by the band and add melodies and lyrics a d then they make any necessary tweaks. Its not like Maynard Bri vs a concept to the band of what he wants the song about. He's basically said he isn't really invited with the writing aspects of the songs. There will alwaysi be a better drummer or singer or guitar player. There always a kid somewhere better that we never hear about because all the talent in the world on an instrument only matters if people like the songs. Talent wise yes there are better, faster, and maybe more elaborate, what number do their albums debug at??? For the full package nobody in my opinion is on the same level and produces better music than Tool. It's the perfect amount of out there and not. I've seen the best guitar players in the world play live but I won't out their record on and listen to their entire discography in a single day back to back to back to back to back to back..... But I'll do that with Tool
@GKeeper316 He doesn't front the band he treats himself like just another instrument in Tool ever seen them live? Besides pre 96 Tool your be hard pressed to find Maynard standing from and Center, he fronts more with APC and with Puscifer but he shares the duties with Carina Round. Without Danny Carey or Adam Jones they wouldn't be Tool, same can be said about everybody essentially. Without Justin Chancellor they wouldn't be the Tool they are today or even Took at all unless Paul came back. One of the reasons Tool is so popular and do so well is it's not all about Maynard, they have a balance between lyrically memorizing band instrumentally incredible. Go listen to 7empest You have a beast of a 16 minute song with a word count of 292. Stairway to Heaven 336 words and is 10:59. To say that it's all about Maynard is ridiculous. He's my favorite singer and I thought he actually should have had a way bigger part in the album but when he's not involved in the writing and composition of songs he can only work with what he is given. His lyrics are great and may be deep or perhaps he's playing a joke in us all and they are 💯 surface level and nothing more lies beneath the surface. Without the 4 guys in the band today they wouldn't be Tool. Is Gear still Hear when no original members are left or Blackfoot or Thin Lizzy or Blood sweat and tears?
I've been to countless concerts over the years. Many of them were bands known for great live sound, including Pink Floyd in 94. I went to see Tool in 2002, actually twice in Boston and a 3rd night in Providence. I had seen plenty of heavy bands, from Heavy metal in the late 80s like Anthrax, alternative in the early 90s; Lollapalooza 2, Nirvana, Pearl jam, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. The metal bands were always absurdity loud, my ears would ring for days afterwards, but when the "tone" changed in the early 90s to a scooped midrange and that big bottom end of the bass, downtuned guitars and a lot of kick drum, it got to the point where you couldn't even hear the guitars any more. The guitar player would be playing a solo: you could tell because you could see him playing and they had the "guitar-solo" face, but you couldn't actually hear it because with the midrange scooped out, they couldn't cut through the rest of the band. It was with that knowledge i went to Tool, and.... It was hands down the BEST sounding concert I'd ever attended. It was loud, but at a perfect level to give you the feeling, without blowing out your hearing. But i could hear every breath intake from Maynard before he would sing the line. Adam Jones guitar was SO CLEAR that i swear you could hear his pic coming in contact with the string before he plucked it. It was the closest to hearing a concert through really great headphones, but being played in front of you.
Please do more Tool! Oh, please?! Invincible, The Grudge, Jambi, Lateralus, Disposition-Reflection-Triad, Right in Two, The Pot, Rosetta Stoned.....all of it! Please!
I REALLY appreciate that you guys didn’t interrupt the song. Once or twice, cool, but some people aren’t really even listening because they keep talking.👍

Larry Bird (#33) was 6'9" and the shorts in that day were "short". Not until the 90's did they start getting longer. So it's probably a combo of being tall and the style of the uniform he got had short shorts. But he is a big dude.

Well I’m a Tool nut. Cool you guys did this. Neat to see people who havent seen Much Tool before. Danny is one of the best drummers in the world and his timing and rhythm is insane.
