Truer words have never been written. And he keeps getting better. Like the additions of the binding when he mentions a function. That is a huge help. I could not get my Mavericks to hand off right, TMS RIGHT to make that happen. So nice when you have teachers that know exactly what their students need
Dear Sir, many thanks for the excellent video update. Your videos are always elegant, concise and to the point. Thank you for your passion and support to this growing community and for all you do for DCS. Kind regards, Nick
lately I adapted to just wait for your "update overview" videos to understand all the changes coming for the f-16C. So damn helpful and informative. Thanks alot man. Much love for the work and effort your put in your videos.
Holy Smokes. That Maverick feature is a complete mission-saver. I HATED the Maverick/F-16 lock and firing sequence prior to this. THANK YOU for such a great video!
Hi Bogey Dope! ... to the Guard Channels: When you switch on the audio-panel (COMM 1 or COMM 2) from squelch (SQL) to the quard-channel (GD), then you see on the DED the frequency (UHV 243 MHz , VHF 121,5 MHz) and below GRD. ;-)
I love love LOVE that you show us what keybinds or set of keybinds you're using when you use them. You've not a clue how incredibly useful that is not only to me, but all the new guys as well!
At 3:13 ish, just forward of the volume knobs for the intercom and the TACAN, there are two knobs that select between OFF, SQL and GD. IIRC GD puts that radio in the Guard frequency regardless of any other setting, and it shows in the DED display.
@@BogeyDope just an idea for you (don´t know if you don´t use this already), i like in the Hornet and Viper to set in ME>Radio Transmission to load real comms and set to freq 243, then i can set Guard on the Hornet and in the Viper (select to GD in knob below COMM1 volume knob). This way i can have a radio chat on the background and still using the COMM1 and COMM2 for other freqs.
really appreciate the addition of chapters - sometimes it's nice to do a quick scan of each one and listen to a specific chapter instead of combing through the video in its entirety. thanks for the great overview
Really happy to see the ACM radar range fixed (was terrible locking up a distant tanker/awcs in the middle of a dogfight merge). Will have to see if my old work flow from that "other sim" works now i.e. for MRM --> SRM --> Guns. Video liked. Channel subscribed.
The nozzle movment is typical ED work ; they implement something but they do it half and it takes sometimes ages to get properly done. I mean, if you model that function and the nozzle movment, why do you do it wrong ? I guess they like to do stuff twice ... If needed, hold the implementation for a couple of weeks but do it right directly.
You’re forgetting that they’re implementing it into a beta which means you shouldn’t expect things to work perfectly instantly the feature is added and once players try it and give feedback it’s adjusted. It’s not a matter of them wanting to do things twice that’s just how beta development works.
@@TsZen876 I hear you but it's not the same. They implement something and it has bugs or creates bugs ... that is the point of Beta testing. But that movment is a ''feature'', meaning it is implemented this way. They are supposed to have specialists and Bogey Dope just provided a simple UA-cam video. That was the same for the FLCS test. That is the same for Hornet lights and numerous other things. They are implemented badly or not right and then ED takes sometimes years to make it right. And lately the game feels like it has been pushed in every directions but nothing is dead right, i.e. that whatever you try to do at some point you'll face a bug and subsequent frustration. I really hope that DCS World 3 will bring some new content but most importantly, a huge step up in finishing what they already started.
@@simonhouel1984 like it said it’s a beta it isn’t being sold as “dead right” if you want dead right download the stable version of DCS and then complain about anything that isn’t perfect there. The system works, the timing may be a bit off but that’s a detail that can be ironed out at a later date and quite frankly it isn’t a priority in a simulation as complex as DCS you aren’t going to assign a large amount of staff to perfect smaller things when you’re still ironing out more complex systems.
@@TsZen876 That's the point. Why release something a system working and have to iron it out later while you could have done it from the beginning. It's not like it is a complex system that requires code to be added and fine tuned like radar, pods, missiles ... They done the job but at 98%. They do that for a lot of stuff. And as you said this was not a priority. Then if you have to do it later fine ; but do it right in the first place. That is a waste of time and ressources.
For the HMD off behavior, I was having issues with the HMCS turning back on after turning the knob off. Everytime the Knob was turned on and then off, the display would always turn back on after about 5 seconds of off time even though knob was off.
Yet another great video. Hopefully the older maps like the Caucasus and NTRR get overhauled to match what is now the new normal. The Caucasus being a free map and the one new players see first should be on par with ones that are purchased. If not, new players could be turned off as their expectations aren't realized. First impressions matter.
@VRimulator I Yeah but I don't know if T-pac will of got it to the state they want it at and he did say he was having trouble getting air to air refueling working
Possibly a dumb question but when the SA map came out you couldn’t just go to the map and start flying if I’m correct. So, now can we fly in single player mode now??? Thanks bro love the channel
You can always fly any map in single player if you create a custom mission in the Mission Editor. If you want to try the map out, just click on "Mission Editor" and select the SA map. From there, you'll need to drop a jet on the map and make it "Player" or "Client". Then fly the mission. You'll spawn in that jet and you can fly around. You can also click "Create fast mission" and select the map and fly it that way. The only single player instant action mission that I can find is "The Final Hour" for the F-14 if you have it. Maybe in the future a campaign may be made for it. Right now, that's the only one I can find.
You must have a good boresight with your TGP for this to work correctly. When you get a point track with your TGP, your Mavericks should be able to look directly at the exact same point. So a BSGT boresight is essential for tms right hand off to work correctly in PRE mode.
Your channel is basically a must watch for almost every DCS F-16 owner.

Yeah the nozzle moves waaay too dang fast for both open and closed. Also the gun purge door moves too fast as well pretty instantly.
Hey man. Dig your videos. Quick question, what filter do you use for your voice when in the cockpit? Cool effects.
the HCMS one was that sometimes the interface would appear whilst looking inside the cockpit after you disable and reenable it via DMS aft long

Where’s the video from the latest update?
it seems that taking care of the "key hole" for the mav.. doesn't count anymore???
what kind of filter/plugin do you use to get this nice radio speech effect?
I use voicemod

Hay NEW Video?, thx
I am Japanese, could you please add subtitles for me? The reason is that I always enjoy translating subtitles!
試してみます。現在、すべての単語を手動で入力するのは大変な作業です。
How do we update the map?
It should be automatic if you already have it loaded in DCS.
Ok here 🔥 😅💋
when this thing hits 88 miles you will see some serious shit lol

it would be cool if they could pay Razbam a shit ton of money and make this a replacement for Georgia. Caucus is such an outdated map in my opinion

Currently my favorite all around map would be Nevada. Though, the SA Map is looking awesome at altitude.
