Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I’m a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. What's the reason for the bug? Is it something a mod could fix or is it bojangled code? And why has it been that way for /TWO YEARS/ with so many content creators no doubt bringing it up? Mavericks are HELLA popular. Not like these are rando rare weapon systems.
Thank you for teaching useful things in less than 8 minutes. It's so hard to find short videos. Too many people going for length for monetary reasons so you have a 30 minute video explaining modes and waypoints and everything else to show the same thing.

Oh wow! I did not know you could ripple like this this with MAV's. I had seen the way of doing with with triple racks shooting one at a time though. Hope they get this bug fixed. Thanks for the great vid!

Can you do the Hornet also? Show how offset aimpoints could be used by a JTAC to reference another structure. "Enemy armor 400 meters south-east of the big building."

Thanks, this helped a lot! Is it possible to quickly slew to a HMCS-driven location but still use Mavericks in Preplanned mode? I like the handoff from TGP to the Mavs, but I also like that you can drive the initial point via HMCS for faster acquisition. Would suck to have to switch to Vis, use HMCS, then switch back to Preplanned.

Attempting this on gray flag results in 12 missiles being shot at me at the same time, and the sky gets absolutely filled with tracer rounds from AAA. Both of which give zero fucks about you being outside the listed range on Hoggit's Threat Wiki lmao. Oh I'm just a Rapier? Wiki says 4.6 miles range? Nah fam we do double that here. Same with Shilka's. I've been swatted by them coming in/pulling off on a mav run from 5-6 miles out. Shit is unhinged.
Love the content though, I always learn something new with your videos. Never knew I could just place a soft point, always thought I had to create a mark point and MSEL it for the Mavs.
Curious about your graphics setting... how you get the softer, grey look? Mine seem to be overly color hued.

How to configure this pinky switch? How to use it?
Do you still have to toggle the markpoint sensor from HUD back to HUD to get the markpoint creation to work properly? I noticed your little circle appeared on your HMCS without doing that but I still have to. I saw that and got excited that it might have been fixed.

Wonder if they will ever fix the triple rack to be able to do this. I have trying to manipulate the tpod every time to find new targets after I launch off the first target, and it ends up being a pain while being shot at. And I always carry triple racks. 😅

Are you sure you have them installed? If it’s night time the nvgs usually are installed and you can install them via the f10 menu
if you get bored and feel like making a new video could you do an updated video on necessary controls that need to be set in the f16 xD, I've been looking for an x52 pro profile but they all seem outdated and i can't seem to find a recent up to date video on setting up the controls for the f16. if you have time maybe just a quick video going over the controls that need to be bound to the joystick would be great

All the current uploaded profiles on the web currently don't work for me even after setting the pinky switch as a modifyer still fails to load the controls properly

I need help. When a team member sends a data link for an air-to-ground target...what am I required to do to receive the information to the F-16C?
Can you do this without the TGP or is the TGP required?
No TGP necessary for either method but it sure does make life easier.
Are you calibrating them on the ground, or is that not necessary? Calibrating the boresight to TGP I mean
Always on the ground
When I calibrate on ground the mavericks never lock with the TGP. They are always off.
I was in Controls looking for the "pinky" switch, couldn't find one and looked in Chuck's Guides and he doesn't list one either, not sure which switch you are talking about?

they never work in pre mode for me after boresight, any tricks?
Btw, just to let you know, this "trick" of designating 2 targets at ones (to fire 2 mavs at ones) is not working any more since last update - at least not for me. Can you please verify it? Big thx.
It hasn’t been working for years. You have to have atleast a few seconds in between both shots in order for it to work

I hate the long videos when you just wan o see how to do a specific thing. 10 min or less are the best even if it only explains 1 thing.
Please do a tutorial on the fastest way to repair landing a damaged F16! Shutdown, repair, startup alignment etc :-)
