To me one of the best hard rock albums ever and one of the most underrated bands. THE music of my youth gives me goosebumps after so many years. Anybody listening in 2022?
Prophet, the band Ted Poley was apart of before Danger Danger, wrote a song called “Slow Down”. If you listen to it, you will realize it is extremely similar to “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi. Ted Poley wrote the intro and Bon Jovi stole it without any giving any recognition to Prophet, who originally wrote it.

This was rock. Fun music fun videos. 80's sound was the best. Ratt, AC/Dc, Bon Jovi, Danger Danger. If you wanna hear Ted Poley check out his new band Tokyo Motor Fist. Same rockin' vibes as always.
So ur saying if u werent influenced to like it you wouldnt ? Thats sketchy xD im 29 now I discovered 80s glam in school in 2004/5. Literally no one in my life even mentioned it to me . Take ur own path of discovery
Danomite no I just saying if a was born and Avery one in my family was listening to shit rap music it’s highly likely I would be listening to rap sense my family listens to rock I got in to rock so I am being raised on rock xD
Ryan Fisher it shouldnt matter what ur family listened to. Everyone should discover what they like for themselves regardless of the environment they grew up in. Your family couldve been into rap whatever but if you got to ur teens and realized other stuff resonates with u on a higher level their influence wouldnt matter. That fact u said if ur family liked rap then you wouldve too shows you dont fully try to think for yourself
Danomite I’m 29 too. I was raised on good music. My dad got me started on the classics like The Doors, Deep Purple, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd. My mom was more of a grunge/alternative fan. Stuff like Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins which I love too. But when I was about 15 I was flipping channels and started watching Metal Mania of VH1. I still remember Cinderella-Nobodies Fool was the first video I saw and I’ve been hooked on 80s Metal since. I love all eras and sub genres of rock but these are my favorite. From Def Leppard to Quiet Riot, Tesla, Crue, Ratt, TNT, Warrant...
Had the pleasure of seeing them twice and the 2nd time meeting them after the show at the ritz in Roseville .man it was cold that night but they made sure we as fans were all happy..great bunch of guys
@@vincenr Tapes🤣🤣 God remember them🤘🤘 still got loads of them somewhere with Friday rock show recorded on em.. never seen danger danger but did see ratt , poison etc..at Newport centre, seemed to be there every week during 80's and 90's.. gigs are few and far between these days😢..
I remember reading a behind-the-scenes feature on the making of this vid in Metal Edge, Ted Poley said they had to keep stopping the shoot while he got sick!
used to blast this in my honda crx with a 12 inch pioneer sub. Other dudes at school were like, is that metal? with BASS? LOL Fucking love Danger Danger
Brings me back to the days when I would read Metal Edge and Circus magazines, and would stay at my Grandma's house over the weekend so I could stay up late and watch Headbanger's Ball.
80’s Metal forever, these guys are talented...Andy Timmons rules, Warrant/poison clones, I’m sure it was a pussy fest in the audience though. I think I saw Jani Lane a couple of times.
@@fabriciobraga8657 Andy Timmons is a great player, consider checking more guitarrist, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Steve Stevens, Steve Morse, Zakk Wylde, Richie Kotzen, Vinnie Moore, theres a whole lot more

Weird that this album and skid row's slave to the grind were recorded in the same studio and both had a song called monkey business 🤔. Both were recorded in 1991 also😲.
Ain't no business like monkey business. Speaking of which, a club owner in Cleveland back in the day told me the drummer scored with five women at once on the Danger Danger tour bus. Those things really happened back in the day. I can't even begin to tell people how many times I had to fend off rockers from my dates/girlfriends -- members of Bon Jovi, Europe, Slaughter, Dokken, Motley Crue, just absolute comedy now when I think back of those days in the 80s and 90s. You had to be there. Is was truly something else. Nothing But A Good Time, somebody said.
Man oh MAN, those were the days! Driving down to Spring Lake, New Jersey to see my hot girlfriend for a weekend bangfest at the local motels AND the back seat of my Subaru in a dark church parking lot!
The Seattle movement came in which killed these types of bands and Andy was wanting to do more "guitar" oriented stuff and be able to do what he wanted to do rather than what Bruno wanted him to do musically.
80s rock is the most fun music ever made!
These dudes were just a couple years late!! One of my top 5 favorite bands
4 years late
Super fun band

He was a drummer!
@@riccardoerioli4884 He played the drums in New Jersey band Prophet. Their debut album from 85 is awesome.

these guys killed it live. everyone of them are virtuosos. they played circles around their peers...and great guys - so they didn't flaunt it.
