You gotta love Andy Timmons playing some good ol' hair metal! never forget your roots people!! you can tell he's having a blast, he really enjoys the style!
In 2024, I listen to the songs of Danger Danger and watch on UA-cam their concerts of Japan in those years. I really like this group that wasn’t serious, that was radiant and kind. I really like Ted Poley and Andy Timmons. I think Andy is elegant. He’s classy. I like to see him play. He’s on my list of great guitarists. ❤🎸🎸
“Crazy” Good!!! Andy Timmons broke new ground on that record. His riffs and solos were and still are unmatched. Can never get enough of this song. Brings back so many awesome memories of high school! Very nostalgic and inspiring. I still own the cassette. I played the crap out of it back then 🤘🏼
andy is for me a guitarist of very very high level when you hear this rhythmic and melodic accuracy, it's super fluid at no time do you feel your limits it's amazing
None like Andy, the way He does sweep picking is killer and challenging, giving strength and attack to the solo. The best guitar player in this planet.
@@Ashpet1 I guess the best part in this solo in my opinion is on 2:41 timeframe. Andy is one in a million using sweep picking with his right hand technique, up/down, and a 99% use to picking down every single note of the D chord. There's a big difference in how it sounds, more attack, definitely tight.
Holy F*=k!!! Taken me back to my youth in the 1st bar! Screw it is still in my 3 albums ever. Thanks Andy for inspiring me to pick up the guitar....Legend. Sorry for your lose of Olivia.
Andy!!! Andy!!! C'mon Man, Crank It Up!!! Lol Love This Guy!!! For all who said he's the best guitarist on the planet, well... I agree!!! There's alot of great ones, but nobody beats Andy!!! Dude has got it all!!! Keep it rockin never stopin!!! ;) \m/
Andy’s incredible, and the joy in his heart is evident any time he plays. Phenomenal talent, and from what I’ve seen and heard, just an incredibly nice guy. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting him, but the older brother of a childhood friend is a friend of Andy’s. Maybe one day I’ll bump into him when Tim is playing. I’ve been a fan for about 30 years, going back to when he was in Danger Danger. If a CD could get worn out, the original pressing of Ear-x-tacy I have on CD would have disintegrated long ago. Hearing it for the first tine, coming from D2, was a revelation. Andy’s command across myriad musical styles is jaw dropping. But I’ve always felt that with all his technique, it was his feel that made him stand apart. And he’s always got killer tone.
I bought this album when it first came out, was a keyboardist back then and bought any rock stuff with keys, took me a while but saw the light and switched to guitar, this album and Andy was instrumental in that decision. Magical from Andy as always !
Phenomenal!!!! Guitarist!!! Then and NOW! Soooo underrated it is not even funny! Look at that bar control?!? 2024 and still think Andy is amazing!!!

Definetly one of the best guitarists to come out of the 80s!
Andy is criminally underrated and 1 of the nicest , most humble people you could meet . He can keep up with pretty much any guitarist.

I agree with you. 🤝
Sweeping? Isn't he alternate/economy picking the arpeggios?
