I'm a 61 yr old grandma who went to Alice Cooper's last Norfolk concert in 2018, waiting for him to come back to within driving distance of Va Beach and we'll be there. Our grandkids were too far away when Van Halen AND Bon Jovi were close by to take them, but I really wish I could have taken my eldest granddaughter with me to see one of Eddie Van Halen's last performances.
The thing that can be done is, people can be educated about the music. Well, SOME people can be. For one thing, I'm trying to educate people about Mike Pont, who was Danger Danger's lead vocalist before Ted Poley. Obviously, they didn't record any albums with Mike Pont.
@@larsbonnet17 : Grunge was to blame indirectly. Truth was 80's rock bands were on ridiculous multi-million dollar contracts. The record companies found they could sign new Grunge bands for peanuts by comparison, Bang Bang end of rock as we know it.
This is a catchy song that crosses over from hair metal to arena rock. Definitely one that can have staying power that should be able to stand the test of time. 😊
By the time they really got going (89-90'sh), the wave was mostly over and the heavyweights of that style of music had been already crowned 7-8 years earlier.
It will never go, whatever happens! The taste of the people has never changed, chrystal clear! They told us that lie that the taste has changed ...people will stick to this music forever!!!
Damn right! Could not agree more!! Met their drummer back on this tour and a nice guy you couldn't imagine. Good fun music. Remember when music was fun or am I just too old lol?!?
'80s music like this has become for me what '60s music was/is for my father: A comforting place to return when I need to feel good about life. If I had kids I'm sure '00s music would become that for them one day, too. Weird to think about.
Quarantined and listening to music from the 80's, The greatest decade of rock in my opinion. Wish I was there now instead of this massively fucked up 2020.
The 80s was more of a laid back fun era concerts back yard parties cops left everyone alone in my opinion but we partied to not attract cops. good times
I totally forgot about this song till it came on my Sirius. Thank you hair Nation for reminding me of this kick ass group and song. Long live the 80s hair metal
I'm listening to these guys for the first time today. I've been into rock & metal music since the 1986-87 when I was 10, 11 years old. Listened to a lot of 70s, 80s rock before moving onto grunge & harder music but the 80s had some awesome stuff. If I had had some exposure to Danger Danger, I would have grown up a fan but sadly they didn't hit the Indian music market.
This band has all the elements of a top-rated glam band. They have a band that totally rocks, they have the look, and the singer has a super voice. Perfection!!
This has to be the most underrated rock band, I had to listened their complete first récord and Screw it. Both are so good albums, great riffs, synth and power ballads. I recommend them a lot
Funny Story....These guys came to Martinsburg WV back in the early 90's when they were all over MTV. I was in a local band from Baltimore called Temper Temper....Our booking agent got us the gig opening for Danger Danger because Danger Danger and Temper Temper looked cool on the promo flyers for the show....Great buncha guys, treated us very cool!
I remember cutting class n going to thd Ritz in NYC to mrrt 'em. Thry errr always so nice. Got pics n autographs in my album. I will treasure those days 4ever. Luv u guys!!
When I first heard this song it was about 2007/2008 and I was like 13. This just takes me back to summer nights when I was in middle school, despite this song being nearly 30 years old at the time. It’s oddly nostalgic for me even if I didn’t experience it when it was “new”.
That's the thing about music not created in a lab like Taylor Swift or any pop being promoted today. You guys either have to search through the trash for obscure stuff of today, or borrow our music, either one works.

Dude I missed my teen-age years in the 80's and 90's best era in music.. were overwhelmingly bombarded with metal music left and right, if only I could turn back time I would. thanks for sharing.
I live an hour from Columbus, Ohio. There was a hard rock station in the late 80's, 92X. When this song would come on , they would say " Bang, Bang ! Columbus ! What's that sound! 92X really rocks this town !!! ". I wish I had a copy of it.....good times !
Oh man, I wish I was 13 again, those were the days. Music was fun and lighthearted, no serious bills or responsibilities. This music brings me right back.
Is anyone else still listening to this awesome song in 2024?? ❤
Me !
Of course!

For one thing, I'm trying to educate people about Mike Pont, who was Danger Danger's lead vocalist before Ted Poley. Obviously, they didn't record any albums with Mike Pont.
Catchy chorus, loud drums and killer guitar work. Yep "Bang Bang" is an underrated 80s classic! Rock on Danger Danger!
Not underrated, just forgotten. Danger Danger came in late and didn’t get the attention they were looking for. The audience just wasn’t there anymore.
@@larsbonnet17 sad but true. If you weren’t making this type of music in the early 80s, it usually didn’t take off as well unfortunately
@@larsbonnet17 same with Hardline - if it wasn't for Brandon Lee wanting their music for his movie. They wouldn't of even been on the radio.

The 1980s will never die, it will live forever and ever in our heart and souls, long live the 80s.
This band should have been much bigger than they were. Just pure 80’s glam metal magic.
By the time they really got going (89-90'sh), the wave was mostly over and the heavyweights of that style of music had been already crowned 7-8 years earlier.
Great point, because this music was done in the late 80's.

listen to Mean It by Tokyo Motor Fist !
( and be sure to take a close look at the Vocalist ;) )
Ted Poley is doing Tokyo Motor Fist....evolved Danger Danger for a new generation......
The 80s will never die. It was greatest decade for movies, tv shows and for music the 80s will lived forever
I'm 59 years young and still rockin to this song not on drums anymore back in the day. But still riding that rockin horse 🐴🐎! 🐴😂🎉😮😅😊🎉❤❤❤
Haters gonna hate, Bang Bang is such a fun late 80s glam metal song!
Mikesdailyjukebox 1990
It says 1989 Sony BMG under the video?
Oh yeah your right it’s bit confusing cause it says (c) 1990 CBS Records at the end of the video
Maybe the album came out in late 1989 and the video released in 1990?
Damn right! Could not agree more!! Met their drummer back on this tour and a nice guy you couldn't imagine. Good fun music. Remember when music was fun or am I just too old lol?!?
As long as we are alive this kind of music is alive. We are the last generation that enjoyed life. The youth is wasted on this youth
I want to go back to the 80's!

who doesn't
It was a fun time, if you were a teenager like I was back then.
@@jy871 I was teen then
