    Bit of putty in front drain sills would stop run off in heavy rain, means you could keep the greenhouse more level in general. Still get rear IBC tanks filled up.

    Hello Benj, Thanks for another interesting and educational video. Are you learning these skills as you go or did you all ready have them before? Best wishes. Nathan

      Bit of both really. I’m an electrician by trade mainly working on industrial projects so I have learnt a lot through my job. I have always been quite handy tho and will get stuck in to any project that comes my way “time permitting”. I’m always learning new skills especially now I have all the jobs to do on the land! Thanks for watching, it’s always good to hear that someone is enjoying the content I’m putting out. 👍🏻

      @@doingoutdoors875 Hello Benj, Thank you dor taking the time to reply. I am not very hands on because i have never tried to tackle projects myself. Think i will have to start changing that as i now have several projects lined up at the allotment such as new shed to put up and building a chicken run. Best wishes,

    Hi what are you using to keep the glass held in, are they clips?

    • @doingoutdoors875
      @doingoutdoors875  2 роки тому

      They are a purpose made clip to hold greenhouse glass into a conventional greenhouse frame.

      I bought it years ago from my local hardware shop. 👍🏻

      @@doingoutdoors875 what's the actual name for it please?

      It hasn’t got a name or brand stamped on it so I couldn’t say……… all I can tell you is that it uses a tungsten wheel to score the glass.

    Did you have to get new seals for the glass? Mine are unusable.
    How has it been since you have completed it? Have you started planting ☺️

      Most of the seals are present and are ok however there are a few missing hear and there but the glass stays in regardless so for now I’m just going to use it as it is. Might be a job for the winter months! And yes I’m growing in the greenhouse or be it just propagating seeds. I’m going down the rout of no dig, I just need to find a cheap source of compost to get started. 👍🏻

      You could use putty and adhesive, keeps glass stuck solid
