I have recorded 6 hour. Out of that first 1 hour is usuful and last 5 hour is accidental as I forgot to shut the recorder. Place tell me how to delete this accidental recording?
There are a few ways to do this. You can use the divide function on the recorder to divide the file into two at the first hour mark. You can also transfer the file to your computer and use the Sony Organizer software that comes with the recorder to edit the file and remove the accidental recording. Or use a Audacity (free, professional audio editor) to edit the audio file. I'd recommend Audacity.
Hello! Is it possible to put marks (T-mark) on recordings that are not made on this model? For example, they recorded a lecture from another recorder. Do these marks disappear after switching to another recording or after turning off the recorder?
If you add marks while recording, they are always present until you delete them. Now, if you play the recording on another recorder (same model), they should be retained. If you use a different model recorder, or using software on your computer (Audacity, Audition etc), it's unlikely the recorder or your computer will be able to read those marks. That's because there's no cross-device standard for T-marks. Every manufacturer does their own thing. Sony does provide the Sound Organizer software (PC), that does read and edit track marks...
To charge the ux560, slide out the usb connector and plug it into your computer or usb charger or powerbank and the recorder will automatically start charging. I do advice that you get a USB-A male to female cable to connect the ux560 to a charger. Thank you!
You're welcome!
