canuck the pro: Handyman: The dishwasher may have to be repositioned although the door latch may have a short and need replacing too.
canuck the pro: Handyman: The best way to see if this might be the issue is to open the door of the dishwasher and check to see if the opening is even with the cabinet face or if the opening is set back from the cabinet face.
canuck the pro: Handyman: If the dishwasher is set back from the cabinet face, then remove the anchor screws and repositioning the dishwasher very well may solve the issue.

Mine did the same thing after 1 month. It's not the door latch - it does this with the door open. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.
