Thanks for posting this, I'm making a custom backrest for the bike and realized I needed to get the light out. I'm actually mounting it on the two main bolt holes that hold in the light onto the frame. This video gave me everything I needed to know! =)
After having an integrated tail on my R6 that looks beautiful. I don't think the cagers in my country notice the signals well. When I get the mt07 I think I'll leave the stock tail since throwing out those stock LED lights will hurt me. Sweet video tho man😎
Thanks for the comment, Brian. I didnt actually throw them away either haha. It was just to make it more dramatic. I forsure get where your coming from though. They are much better than they have been in previous years.
Ha! Moon Motors. My dad bought a Honda CL77 Scrambler Milo Moon Motors in the late 60s. I remember seeing one of the original Honda cars there, tires were about the size of riding lawn mower tires.
Nice vid. Thank you. Is there a reason you didn't go with the license plate light? All my TST gear came in today and I'll be installing tonight. I'll probably watch this vid a few times throughout the process :)
Thanks Paul! I missed putting the license plate light on but it should be done at the same time. It's not a hard process either. I'm glad this video is helping you out!!
Hey did either of you install the plate light? I'm doing the installation right now and considering leaving it off if the brake light illuminates the plate enough on it's own.. would you recommend this?
I watched your video will be very helpful when I get my parts. I noticed you did not install the LED plate light. Is there a reason, is it needed? Just curious. Thanks
The link you have for the tail light doesn't work , but I found it anyway. My question is , does the 124.99 price come with everything I need or are there additional parts required ...... Thank you
I updated the link so it should work now. The $124.00 price includes everything you need for just the tail light assembly. Light and wires to plug it in. The tail tighty for the license plate is a separate assembly such as : tstindustries.com/tst-elite-1-fender-eliminator-yamaha-fz-07-2015.html . If your running the stock license plate mount and just want the tail light then the tail light assembly will be all you need.
I have the year/color bike. Someone gave me a tail-tidy that they got from eBay. I've been wanting to put a TST tail-tidy on but wanted to ask you first if the one from EBay comes with everything I need? Also I plan on buying the integrated light as well. And I would like to keep my stock rear blinkers . Can that be done? Thanks. Ride Safe my friend....
Believe it or not yes it is still very bright. I get comments from the people I ride with all the time about the flashing and how bright it is. Worth every penny in my opinion
Did you have to get a relay to correct the speed of the blinkers? I saw that you had those blinker connection cables. Do those came with the integrated tail light or did you have to order them separately?
Thanks for the comment Octane Reaper. Since the 2021 Mt07 comes with LEDs from factory it did not need a new flasher relay. Everything came with the tst kit. Didnt need any additional hardware.
@@BradTheBuilderChannel Thank you so much for letting me know man. I just bought mine and was worried that I was going to have to buy other parts for it to work properly. I have the 2021 so everything checks out. I appreciate the video!
@@BradTheBuilderChannel lucky for you I have the same bike with the same set up that I am fitting at the moment and my blinkers are flashing fast nightmare
@@stephenhendrie4856 is it the 2021 though? If it’s not then it doesn’t have led blinkers which is why your having that issue. A simple flasher relay or resister will fix that. Tst also sells those
Since the stock blinkers mount to the original fender that you would be taken off, there would be no mounts for the blinkers. You would have to make something or there might be a possible kit to mount the blinkers that I don’t know of.

Nice and neat finish but as a rider having to have eyes in the back of ones head with bloody millennials on their phones while driving I'd be concerned the indication isn't as bright and obvious as you might want it to be. love the nice clean finish and minimalistic look it gives the tail though!!
Thanks for the comment and couldn’t agree more. It’s brighter than you think but regardless I never trust the signals. Always always look behind you before moving over. Trust nobody
I am having problem figuring out the wiring when you reconnected it, it was so fast you did not explaine any thing. What was the rush on the wiring in stall, tour other vedio were great this one was no help at all. 😞👎.
@@BradTheBuilderChannel Can you go back and do another vedio on the wiring part of the TST brake light, your other vedios have been great other this one, I have looked at it 3 times and still confused.
@@demon817 I can try and get some footage of just the wiring yes. Quick tip TST also has an instructional video on how to hook up the tail light. If your looking for quick answers visit their youtube channel/website. The wire connectors are all different except for the blinker connections which is a 50/50 shot of getting right. If their wrong then simply switch the connections. All other plugs should be plug and play. The license plate light was not covered in this video which could be included in the next. Thanks

Yeah I didn’t hook it up because I rarely ride at night. Super dangerous with deer where I live. It’s very simple to hook up however. ✌️
