Watched this video while putting mine on with help from my dad and brother. The hardest part of the whole project for us was getting that stupid pin through the spring on the bottom side of the bracket😂 Thanks for a great video.
I would NEVER buy this kit again after failing to install the key cap cover for over 30minutes i run without it and have a magnetic setup to keep grime out - overall super dissapointing Yoshimura couldnt come up with a better solution in the R&D department.
Great video, very helpful and detailed. One advice for future works, those connector from tail light, etc. , you don't need to use a screwdriver and lift the clip. Is designed as a lever so if you push the back end of it you can disconnect it pretty easy.
Thank goodness for your video. The instructions that came with it were not great. Replacing the spring was an issue and yes… I lost the retainer clip. Great job
Good job with your clear explanation on the install. Just got a 2023 MT07 and was wondering which tidy kit to buy. Do you think the Yoshi turn signals are worth the upgrade or just the tail tidy and keeping the stock signals?
Thank you, and congrats on the new MT-07! I personally like the look of the stock turn signals on these bikes, but I’d say it comes down to personal preference. If it were me, I would just buy the tail tidy and save the money on the turn signals.
Great Video!! Thanks for such a detailed video. Your lighting is some of the best I've seen. I received my fender eliminator on yesterday. I also ordered the Yoshimura rear turn signals. They should be here in a few days. Can't wait to get everything installed.
I still have never ridden this bike in the rain, so I wouldn’t know, but the last bike I had looked pretty similar at the rear and the backsplash wasn’t terrible.

unfortunately there is a lot of backsplash and after one year i’m returning to stock practicality over the looks in my case
Thank you!! It’s the Yamaha Genuine sport screen. I put a link in the description and I made a video on it about a month or so ago. Good quality, and it looks like you may not even need to go into the dealer to get them anymore. Can order directly from Yamaha online now (at least in Canada you can, but I’m sure it’s similar everywhere).
I looked into TST, but I live in Canada, and at the time it would have cost me extra to ship here. So I went with a brand that I could order from a local supplier. That being said, I really like the look of the Yoshimura as well!
@@FullThrottleFreedomChannel motostarz is in BC and usually carries there stuff, that's where i got mine and it wasn't extra but i do see your point! I'm in Ontario
Nice video with great detailed explanation. Just picked up my MT-09 day before you posted this video :). Was wondering what tank pads you have on there and how you like them. Also, bike looks great with the kit installed, waiting for mine to be delivered. Thanks
Thank you! They’re a random Amazon brand that were decently priced and work really well. Link is in the description. Not sure where you’re located - they’re for sure available in Canada, but I when I looked, I couldn’t find them on the US site.
Never had an issue with the plate hitting the tire. I bought the kit from my dealership, but the Fortnine kit should be the same as long as it’s for the Gen 3 (2021-2023). I’d say compare it to the kit on Yoshimura website and if it looks the same, you should be good.
@@samv4198 I attached the plate using the top two bolts only and tightened them down pretty firmly so the bracket wouldn’t move. No point in putting in the bottom two since they won’t line up anyways. I haven’t had any problems with it.
this mod 1 , have an impact at your driving ? you know , 1 mod keep you on kind of train rails ?? ! Cause averybody said how playful is the Tracer 900 and Mt09 ,but when i ride it , i didnt find it playful at all . Now... this conclusion is falty cause the bike was set at mod 1 when i ride it ??????
Looks like this specific part only fits the MT-09, but Yoshimura should make a kit for the Tracer 9 GT as well. I put a link to Yoshimura’s website in the description. Install should be similar with potentially some slight differences.
Hahaha, yeah! And they make such a good tidy that it’s basically a meme now that every MT-09 owner has hopped on the bandwagon 🤣 I love the look of TST’s gear, but I didn’t want to wait forever to get mine shipped to Canada… Or pay the extra shipping fees for that matter.

How long did it take guys and good stuff

Glad you enjoyed it!

Oh wow, I never thought of cutting the stock light to use it's connector rather then cutting off the one from the bike like the instructions say.
Got about halfway through before I realized my sales guy ordered the fz09 kit. Was so confused until I realized that
As long as it’s a bike from the same year/generation, the MT-09 and FZ-09 should be the same bike
I just got a 2022 MT09
Will the new fender eliminator keep road spatters clear from landing on the jacket and helmet?

Good video and explanation

Awesome video. I just wish I could get my bike, but I'm still not a 100% physically, and I'm down financially.
Thanks! Still hoping for the best for you
why would anyone buy this when you can just buy the TST one which is so much more clean. good video tho I cant hate to much :)

Can't you just remove the arm from the original fender and install it without? It looks like it comes apart so it may work.
I don’t see why you couldn’t. The thought never crossed my mind.

Yes you can
