Well let me make this a little more clear the smoked tail light blends in better with the matte finish of the 2015 FZ-07 tail I'm not sure if the 2016 has a gloss tail or what but that's just some food for thought honestly the best part is what it looks like when it is on.

The smoked one naturally attenuates a little of the light output because of the tint in the lens. If you are concerned about this I recommend you get the clear version. You will be extremely happy with it.
It will not but we are currently working towards manufacturing a unit for the newly redesigned model MT-07. Stay tuned for more updates later this year!
Please check out our website next week. We will have a coming-soon product page for that taillight. It will have the info you want, and show photos of the prototype we made.
The taillight has one ground that is in the main taillight plug. Each of the signal plugs from the taillight have a single (+) wire that plugs into the bike's harness. If you were to leave the stock signals plugged in you would only need to connect two taillight signal wires into the positives of the stock signals. This can be done with tap-splices. If you do go that route, and contact our customer support referencing this conversation, we will provide the tap-splices at no cost.
TSTindustries Awesome, love the customer service. Also will both the stock blinkers and the ones on the tail light maintain the same blink rate, or will they be unsynchronized? If I desire the stock blink rate for both would it require a relay?
The signal rate for the taillight and your OEM signals will be synchronized. No need to buy any additional parts. If you ever make any change to your signaling system that causes the current draw to be less than OEM (like using LED front signals), the flash rate will speed up, but still stay synchronized.
Lizard6376 You will receive tap-splice connectors in the resistor kit that was thrown in with your order. You will not be using the resistors for this installation. Just use the tap-splices and save the resistors in case you need them at some point.

UA-cam is not well poised for enabling us to provide support. If you are asking about the connectors on the green and brown wire then those are redundant. On some models/years you use one set, on others models/years it will be the other connectors. Having both sets of connector is a means of universalizing the light unit.

Hello TSTindustries! I have a question about this product. If I pull the brake but I am also turning a corner. Will the light blink to make a difference that I am not just braking but also turning? Do you ship to Ecuador-South America? If so, do you accept credit cards from the country mentioned??
adysocio What's up buddy. I don't believe we have shipped to Ecuador before so we would be reluctant to ship via regular mail. It would have to be UPS with insurance. I have been to Ecuador myself... love your country. I had some great times there.
TSTindustries thanks for replying so fast. Last question, do you accept credit cards from my contry. I use my dad's Visa. Finally, so it will be possible to ship to Ecuador, do you know more or less how much is for the UPS insurance service? thanks in advance.

@@henryscreations because the license plate is not always located below the tail light. Even the OEM tail light doesn't have a license plate light in it.
TSTindustries I mean yeah the tail light may not have a license plate light but there was no way to add a separate piece for this project? Im not a fan of the universal deal.
There always is a way to add more lighting to a light unit during the design phase. Not everyone uses a license plate holder right under the tail light so we don't design license plate lights into tail lights.
How do I find out if me bike has 2pin or a 4 pin relay ?? I know nothing about bikes :-( or and if I buy the light is it essential I buy the LED flasher ?
You can use our relay installation video to find out where your relay is, and then get in the bike and look at it. This tail light comes with resistors that you can tap in to slow down your flash rate. You don't absolutely have to purchase the relay.
Maybe later this year when we iron out a new relations hip with a different shipper. We used to send parts there but many packages were lost and there was no sense in keeping on losing money on something that is not our fault.
People are accustome to seeing a turn signal on either side of a bike or car with some space in between them to tell them apart. With it so close to center of the bike I would think some people will have a hard time (especially at distance) being able tell what is going on the first couple seconds they look at it and the loss of those first couple seconds could spell life or death to the person on the bike.
We appreciate your input and this exact reason is why we continue to improve the quality of our tail lights in respect to brightness, longevity, and clarity. On this particular unit we introduced an internal "fence" to split the signal lights right down the middle. This helps prevent bleed over from signal to signal. We also make it a standard practice to avoid designing Integrated Tail Lights for bikes with extremely thin stock lights.
we ship to Italy all the time. You can see the shipping cost by dropping the product into the cart on our website, and going to the checkout page. Fill in your address and you will see what it will cost to get your parts to your door.
+TSTindustries thanks ! I'll probably split the shipping with a friend hahaha are you thinking about making any other cool fz/Mt 07 accessories? maybe a sprocket cover or seat cowl ?
Ok cool. We are always coming up with new ideas. I don't know when our engineers will circle back around to the mt07 / fz07. Currently they are working on parts for other bikes. I heard that maybe later down the line a fancy front signal setup will be available.
It does not look like that to eyes. A camera sensor is a difficult thing to capture high intensity light output with. Don't take my word for it....see the reviews.
Unfortunately your tail light is not as sturdy as OEM and it doesn't fit as well as OEM. Broke a plastic piece off the side because I was trying to get it to fit better against the plastics. On the FZ-07 the factory plastics on the left and right side gap where the bottom of the tail light sits. This doesn't look good and it feels janky! I can tell the same thing is happening on the bike in your video and your pictures on your webiste. I wish I had noticed beforehand. I guess there really is a huge difference in quality between hundreds of engineers at Yamaha vs. 5 engineers developing this.
We've sold thousands of these units since the release of the product and have yet to experience any issue like the one you've encountered. It sounds like you may have installed it incorrectly or had to jam it in place. We'd love to help out in any way we can so feel free to shoot our Support Team an email with your order number for us to look into this situation. Support@tstindustries.com
It only looks like that in the video. It is incredibly difficult to capture a light flashing with a camera sensor without having bleed into areas that aren't in fact illuminated. When you see it with your own eyes the two sides flash separately.
Just ordered my set now!

I had some great times there.
adysocio during signaling, if you press the brake, the side that is signaling toggles red/amber
TSTindustries thanks for replying so fast. Last question, do you accept credit cards from my contry. I use my dad's Visa. Finally, so it will be possible to ship to Ecuador, do you know more or less how much is for the UPS insurance service? thanks in advance.
adysocio if you ship to the billing address of the credit card we will make it happen. If you need a quote on UPS service you will need to submit an inquiry along with your address to our support staff. Please go to our website and click the support tab. You will be able to submit your info and message there, nd our people will get back to you on Monday
TSTindustries Awesome! thanks I will do so.
Sweet ty
You're welcome

delivered in Brazil has no option on the site for delivery
Sorry. All our packages sent to Brazil in the past were getting lost so we can no longer serve that territory.
TSTindustries Okay, I hope we can do business in the near future.
Does anyone know if these are New Zealand legal
We do not have access to this information here. The best solution will be for you to contact your local authorities and ask the question prior to placing an order.
What about the license plate light??
In this video we show the installation of our taillight on this specific bike. If you want to see our low profile license plate light video you will need to go to the "Universal" playlist and access it there
TSTindustries oh thats a bummer. How come a license plate light couldn’t be integrated with the brake light?
TSTindustries thanks very much I shall check tomorrow and order the light 👌🏻
Buenas donde los puedo comprar ?

Why won't my left signal light work everything else flashes
It’s tough to say without additional information. Reach out to our Support Team and they can try to help. Support@tstindustries.com
No ship to México 😢
Maybe later this year when we iron out a new relations hip with a different shipper. We used to send parts there but many packages were lost and there was no sense in keeping on losing money on something that is not our fault.
That tooldesk has wheels you can move it towards the bike, lol.
It's easier for us to move than to lug the toolbox around set.

Title says 2013+ but video says 2015+ so what years work?!
this taillight fits all years of this bike
Is this tail light DOT or SAE approved?
sub'd...waiting for delivery of my 16 fz07
You won't be disappointed!
Difficult to understand when u turning and braking simultaneously
this is really cool !! but shipping will kill me ... I'm in Italy :'(
we ship to Italy all the time. You can see the shipping cost by dropping the product into the cart on our website, and going to the checkout page. Fill in your address and you will see what it will cost to get your parts to your door.
+TSTindustries thanks ! I'll probably split the shipping with a friend hahaha
are you thinking about making any other cool fz/Mt 07 accessories? maybe a sprocket cover or seat cowl ?
Ok cool. We are always coming up with new ideas. I don't know when our engineers will circle back around to the mt07 / fz07. Currently they are working on parts for other bikes. I heard that maybe later down the line a fancy front signal setup will be available.
I would leave my factory turn signals with this tail light.
Double turn signals.
I like my safety.
You can totally do that. We even sell a Y-Splitter harness that will connect two sets of signals into the harness
Looks like the entire tail light is blinking, when you use the side indicators. That can potentially cause a dangerous situation.
It does not look like that to eyes. A camera sensor is a difficult thing to capture high intensity light output with. Don't take my word for it....see the reviews.
TSTindustries Good to know - then I will probably try it out.
i don't know if this is legal in Spain :... i want to get it
Get back to us once you find out.
the only bad thing about this tail light is that when u use the blinker basically the entire light flashes
you have to see it in person. The entire light does not actually flash. It's just very tough to show signal functionality using a camera sensor.
That music in the background is distracting x.x
Yea, I know. We don't use that song in our videos any more.
Smoked lens.
Can you use this and still keep the rear fender?
Yes, that combination is fine.
the only bad thing about this tail light is that when u use the blinker basically the entire light flashes
It only looks like that in the video. It is incredibly difficult to capture a light flashing with a camera sensor without having bleed into areas that aren't in fact illuminated. When you see it with your own eyes the two sides flash separately.
