Why you look at someone homeless on the street and say they are filth, they are the problem. Why you don’t know or want to care or love. Why when you see others who are happy makes you sick to the stomach. The love of others offends you? Chances to stop suffering. Chances to change. Chances to come out of hidden homes and into a future going places, is only given to you once. I will not let anyone destroy or hurt the children of tomorrow because they don’t want their success. I will shut the doors on the Ark and watch all you evil drown. Take this grace that is only given once. Only once. Don’t hurt in hidden darkness. Come out and heal. (번잡하고 밝은 도시 불빛에서 멀리 떨어져) Let them all fade away. Just leave us alone. And we'll live in a world of our own. We'll build a world of our own 우린 우리만의 세계를 건설할거야 that no one else can share. (우리 외엔 아무도 공유할 수 없는) All our sorrows we'll leave far behind us there. And I know you will find 그리고 난 네가 찾을 걸 알아 there'll be peace of mind 거기엔 마음의 평화가 있을거야 when we live in a world of our own. (우리가 우리만의 세계에 살 때) Oh my love, oh my love, 오, 내 사랑, 오 내 사랑, I cried for you so much. Lonely nights without sleeping 잠을 이루지 못했던 외로운 밤들. while I longed for your touch. (내가 네 손길을 갈망하는 동안) Now your lips can erase 이제 네 입술은 지울 수 있어 the heartache I've known. Come with me to a world of our own.

Committing what crimes on their family’s. On their neighbours. On their communities.
I say to you people. Don’t you ever ever disrespect or hurt the children of today. These children WILL be the future of tomorrow. We are NOW here to nurture, care, love, guide them under Gods teachings so the future WILL be here for ALL. A better future. I hope all you people that caused me to write here read this comment. I hope you sit there in your privacy and self reflect. Look in the mirror. Start that self healing. Look at your own life. What dark issues have brought you here? Why does someone’s haircut affect you so much? Why does someone’s skin colour cause you to hate so much? Why you never help others in need?
Help make this and that and everywhere a better place. Remove the barnacles and log from your eye.
Peace Love
Such an amazing voice. Judith Durham and the Four Seekers were one of Australia's best exports.
Judith truly had one of the most beautiful voices...EVER
She was beautiful inside and out. Wonderful lady.
Folks, remember this is just 4 voices singing harmony, 2 acoustic guitars and a bass. Wow!
Made a "Lot of noise" for 4 people, (good noise😁)
Indeed, but folk could play , sing and arrange back in those days...if you could not your group was out of a job.
Four voices that blended together so well that a master carpenter must have been involved. It did not hurt that each member was an excellent musician.
Please Remember the Two Acoustic Guitars are 12 String.
@@ronmorrissey8575 No. One is 6 string the other a 12 string.
The Seekers acoustic guitar combinations were invariably 6 string/12 string, 6 string/6 string, 12 string/banjo (maybe sometimes 6 string/banjo). Always with accompanying upright bass, Judith on lead vocal and all three guys singing effortless 3-part harmony.
The seekers were born in the 60s and will live forever. I wasn't born in the 60s but love their 🎵🎶 and all four folks are the equal seekers to me. Hats off to each one of them.
Better than the rubbish of today
RIP Judith. Thanks for gracing us with your gorgeous voice.
RIP Judith Durham.
First album I ever bought was "The Best of the Seekers" and still listen to it today at 68 years old
Same here, 70 now. spend hours listening to the Seekers on you tube.
@@oliveringram3056 can,t go wrong there
Me too. Nearly 70 and I grew up in Australia . The Seekers were fabulous. Fond memories of a happier time in my life.
When Judith starts singing , even the angels stop and listen !
maybe i will start belive in angels,, first one must judith..voice of angel
@@petex3909 Good man ! When Judith was young , she suffered from depression and insecurities . How could she not know or think that she was beautiful, not only looks wise , but also to her millions of fans ? I'm glad that she finally became " A New Georgy Girl!" If you haven't heard it already , check out " I am Australian " by Judith and the Seekers live at Sydney in 2000. I'm a 67 year old geezer and I still ' bout shed a tear each time I listen !
@@sarasarah1810 Are you implying that you're an angel ? I don't mean to sound sexist , but you do look like one ! Listen to " I am Australian " for me , please . Live at Sydney 2009
@@sarasarah1810 Sorry , but my statement of " when Judith starts singing , even the angels stop and listen", and then you saying You " would know when she was singing" means , to me , you heard her singing because you must be an angel ! It's late , Ha !
When she sings on my Infinity SM 150's powered by a Carver C1 pre and a Phase Linear 400 power amp, the whole neighborhood has to listen. Love her voice. Timeless and underrated.
Such a special time as it was the year I married my wonderful wife and this song really takes me back and we are still together today and Judith's beautiful voice is still with us all. She will live forever in our hearts along with the whole group~!!
Miss these type of songs and music was awesome from 1960's to 1990's before nasty/condescending/racist and potty mouth rap/hip hop music took over the scenes and dance bars play that loud/disgusting rap/hip hop that hurts your ears since the 1990's onward.
Seekers-A World Of Our Own Lyrics
Close the doors, light the lights.
We're stayin' home tonight,
far away from the bustle and the bright city lights.
Let them all fade away. Just leave us alone.
And we'll live in a world of our own.
We'll build a world of our own
that no one else can share.
All our sorrows we'll leave far behind us there.
And I know you will find
there'll be peace of mind
when we live in a world of our own.
Oh my love, oh my love,
I cried for you so much.
Lonely nights without sleeping
while I longed for your touch.
Now your lips can erase
the heartache I've known.
Come with me to a world of our own.
god bless another angel gone home
I remember the seekers in the mid 1960s loved admired them , Judith had a voice to die for what a beautiful lovely girl she is .
Seams like yesterday When I hear the Seekers
Awesome group..awesome music...awesome class..doesn’t get any better
outstanding simple and profound yet clean and classy music and lyrics. Where is this type of music today ?? Such a shame some of the trash being written today. Yes there is some good new music but you have to search.. Most of it is trash
RIP Judith. Such a beautiful unique voice. We'll never find another you.
The golden age of beautiful music
Yes yes yes can't say it enough.....
If angels sing, it's because Judith taught them how.
This lady had a voice that went right to our heart
Got a voice like angel so pure and clear
Judith definitely a top 5 of all female voices…I’ll miss her…luckily we have her song…
World's most beautiful female voice ever and she looks stunning
Just phenomenal music from a group that simply had no equal .... the Seekers, just sheer brilliance.
They played mostly Folk music that touches our hearts.
They were big during the sixties and they won't be forgotten.
Great group! Beautiful lady with a beautiful voice! Helped me get through the 60’s.
Dear Seekers: I hope that you're all coping well. Your beautiful voices are like a light in the darkness.
Judith, Judith, Judith...You just catapulted me right back to the days of hope and cheap red wine...Effortless voice and stunning breath control. Wonderful!
Remember, you can't make a splash without a Ripple. And don't forget the word is Thunderbird. The official wines of Woodstock.
I fully support Edward Alamo. Judith Durham was an Angel. Never I saw her with poor dress attracting viewers on her body. We remember her simple behaviour, look and smile. May god bless her in heaven.
During more than 50 years this is ever lasting. Beautiful music and still great
The group was really good, and Judith was not only a phenomenal vocal talent, she was an absolute doll!
She's a sweetheart. No two ways about that.
I was 14 when this song came out. I had a big crush on her. What a great voice and sweet innocent look! Beautiful! I love the way she kept wanting to move!!
I was 13 and felt the same . Her cute squinty eyes and sometimes pig-tails ! What a little cutie ! There were beautiful , blue eyed , blonde haired hippie chics everywhere , but Judith stood out from the crowd . !
John Parker, me too. This was one of the great hits here in Finland too.
She may have felt it made her look nervous.
@@JRobbySh Ha ! Maybe ! She may not have wanted to have been diagnosed with " Elvis syndrome " !
Me to and I'm still in love with her!!
How could people not like this????????
Beautiful
I like it, no dispute there. But not everyone has the same taste in music. I can't stand this "Thumping" stuff they have today the young kids call music. It's their thing. (It will make a lot of audiologist happy in a few years as their hearing fades!) I would imagine my grandparents wouldn't have liked this type of music. To each their own!
Even the greatest songs, such as this one, had criticism ... mainly from clowns who are really struggling with their hearing!
I don’t know but they apparently don’t have good taste.
All are fantastic singers👍🏻❤️🎶
Rip dear Judith loved your singing your songs will live on
Such a sweet woman too
Wow !
Ooh my goodness !
This is one of the best songs i have ever heard ❤️❤️❤️❤️. I love you all .
I remember as a kid listening to my dear late mum singing the seekers songs around the house , I’ve inherited her love of this fabulous group , my mum certainly had great taste in music .
Thank you, Judith Durham!
They were so good, never get tired of listening to them, and of course like most youn men at the time I also was in love with Judith, I think I still am.
Judith Durham had a heavenly beautiful voice when she sang along with the three others.
THE LATE GREAT GOD GIFTED JUDITH DURHAM R I P AMEN 💖
I listened to The Seekers before becoming a U.S. Marine, and I listened while in Vietnam and after Vietnam. Here I am decades later, still listening and loving The Seekers.
She was beautiful even in black and white . What a loss.
Yes what a loss, but we all pass away. At least it wasn’t tragic.
Stunning. Cool song. What a group! Judith is a treasure, now and always. I have tears in my eyes.😂 Beautiful, adorable, wonderful lady, with an amazing voice.
There's not a female singer right now that can even compete with her beautiful voice
Yes, Judith and the late great Karen Carpenter were imo the best female vocalists of all time!
With her perfect pitch she probably has always been the best singer of her type (in all her genres) of the past 50 years. That's additionally proved by the way she can still sing!

I have an original (very crackly) 7" of this. I was given it by a friends dad when he was going through his record collection. I love this. 😊

Karen Carpenter perhaps?

Judith should be declared a national treasure. She belongs to all Australia. We love her beautiful voice and appearance. A real lady!
.
Completely agree. She was so classy with a lovely persona. I think all women should look up to her!
Such a brillant song! The Seekers were the best at those times: on the same level as the Beatles (1966). RIP dear Judith
I was introduced to the Seekers by my mom. Fond memories of walking in the house from school with the Seekers on the stereo. After my parents passed, I reclaimed the Seekers albums.
Hello Barbara, how are you doing?
Judith Durham and Karen Carpenter 2 crystal clear voices
what a strong and beautiful voice Judith has!!!
I was around 10 - 11 years in th early 70s when I heard the Seekers, and I knew then that every song would be ingrained in my memory. 50 years later, and I still say Judith Durham's voice is /:was one of a kind. Has that haunting lilt to it that gets you.
Always a great group to re-visit for timeless classics
The perfect woman dies.
