- Overpressure has been one of War Thunder's more controversial mechanics, as it makes artillery vehicles incredibly powerful. But one thing players don't typically talk about it how it affects APHE shells with a large amount of filler. The Italian Breda 501 tank destroyer is a great example.

1)that still leaves the driver's assistant, who's under the armor.
2)that still signifies an issue with a vehicle, like an inability to lower sides fully or inability to change the mounting point of Breda 38 MGs. Even lowering them into locked position being an option took over a year of arguing with the snail.

Uuh do you mean the hydra pod when you say HEAT because last time I checked the 25mm only had HVAP AP HE and SAPHE
LAV-AD got nerfed so much it only has 66mm of pen compared to original 90

@@randomjoerandomjoe I believe you are thinking of the HSTVL and its target tracking it did not get radar just IRST the LAV-AD is the wheeled SPAA with the 25mm rotary cannon hydra rockets and stinger missiles

It wouldn't be torture enough. Main enemies are Panthers and Tigers II, both got extremely good UFP, but like zero volumetric hell to it for besh to fail.
Soviets are about the same: trolly turret, but it's trolly with angle you get, one thing that besh hard counters.

Back then, the side doors used to be closed, allowing it to slip through small gaps, Gaijin decided no fun was allowed and opened them, but allowing a 270 degree turning angle, just be careful when shooting while the turret is aiming to the sides, the recoil will throw the shot off A LOT.
You should be able to choose to fold up or down the hatches.
They should make it a modification

can you play the 2C ? they buffed his shell (from 55mm to 66mm with even more explosive mass). Or the Somua SM, they buffed his top speed (from 40 km/h to 50 km/h). Nice video as always Spookston

Day 14 of telling spookston to play the IT1. its a ATGM launcher on the t62 chassis, it has decent-ish mobility, the turret is squished. You can hide behind cover and shoot ATGM over the cover like a gremlin and you overpressure tanks (tho it can be rare, but it does happen without you realizing) and its MG is really werid. Also it has a cool reload animation.

Attempt 58 Challenge: For high tier support a nations MBT with its respective APC/IFV counterpart (ie Abrams/Bradley, T90/BMP2M, etc.) Challenge is keeping the other player alive and supporting it without stealing kills (breaking barrels, tracking, repairing, etc) it being a random should help make it interesting.
Spookston should play the HSTV-L but only as an anti-air with the new proxy fuse shells.
I would like to see a video where you play tanks with level 1 crew. I think a lot of veteran players forget just how much of an advantage it is to have high crew skill. That is the main thing that is keeping me from playing other tech trees right now. I have decent crew skill in USA and USSR so i stick to those. I wanted to try Italy and France but having to GE crew skills (because the grind to upgrade them is so bad) sucks.
For me I go for one category that will be most useful on a new nation. Light tanks I go for driving, td reload, otherwise vitality. It's better than leveling equally and not feeling the difference

9:54 I've had that issue where tanks will sound like they're around the corner but they're over a kilometer away.Noticed it more so on maps that has buildings might be a bug with how audio is picked up.

The C&C generals music in the background is an amazing touch Spook.
The Ikv 72 is also really funny. The 20 degrees of gun depression on nuke APHE shell make it like the Sturer Emil of its BR. But it is also quite fast and has a small profile

About that engine noise you heard from across the map; i got another engine audio bug where destroyed tanks around the map are giving off their idle engine sound (either normal or with a broken engine/transmission), and it always sounds like a ghost haunting me

The completely black color on some players tanks are a customization where you can make your tank look like a wreck, or a scenery object.

Day 119 You should play a tank with hydropneumatic suspension (recommend the MBT-70) But the catch is you have to drop the suspension as low as it can go for the whole match.

3:55 IIRC with the T-34's in game you can hear the clatter of the track guide toward the rear of the tank, this is why T-34's have a higher pitched noise than a KV (also the engine is under greater load in the KV)

They don't actually missclick at the beginning of a Match, but switching shells from HE to the Main Shell. For a long time I didn't knew how to change Shells in the Menu, so I had to change them at the Beginning of each Match.

I always felt like those two mgs in the back are to cover the retreat when this thing gets spotted and relocates to a new position or retreats from combat entirely. That would also help with the poor reverse speed, you just turn and run and those two bros lit up the enemy while you do that so they do not follow. I like the concept for something from ww2. In war thunder this thing is just amazing, love that the gun is in the front, makes it so much more flexible than all those "gun in the back" style of trucks i just cant handle.
I absolutely adore the Breda, easily my favorite vehicle in the game. The gun depression is a problem on bumpier maps, but the real bane is those god damn wings. There is nothing I wish more than for them to be able to snap off, because they catch on *everything*.
Its tough getting used to the side armour being down instead of being up

Attempt number C, to get spooks to just play one of these: CV90120, Lvkv 9040C, Pbv 302 Bill, Swedish T 80 U, Any leclerc, M36 and the WMA 301, and the MBT-70. And for something for low tier, the D2 or the french crusader specifically because baguettes are better than crumpets.
