Serious "Blame" vibes living in an ever expanding megastructure and you walk into an empty room so monumentally mind bogglingly vast being told this is where Jupiter used to be.
I recently spent over 20 hours assimilating a galaxy onto a Birch world....had an assimilation queue of over 400 pops for like 2 hours. I left the galaxy abandoned/unclaimed, cracked every habital world/habitat, killed the Dessu Consanance in the extra-galactic cluster, and converted the "Robotic Observer" system outside the galaxy into a vassal to preserve a robot species. I wasn't sure how to conquer the Urmani traders system outside the galaxy though. Final pop total was ~3900.
@@warbrain1053 Frameworlds get ludicrous '1-month growth tics' once you get enough outposts, and can grow two pops at the same time, which initially lets them keep up with the parallel pop growth that other civs get, but the fact the Frameworld is more housing--efficient than any multi-planet empire means they can get massive pop growth once they pass the mid-game housing crunch and out-scale them.
The Blokkats basically do the frame world but at a scale where an entire galaxy is an asteroid harvest to them. All to send like 3 blokkats past the atom shredder to recreate their organic versions that eventually launch a failed invasion of the space bunnies that ends with them building the 1ly birchworld.
17:38 acording to my calculation it's 260 987 367 068 beings, with one pop being worth 287 747 924 beings, also good video as always, I would love to see more Gigastructures videos
I feel like you missed out on telluric dismantling ap which would allow you to harvest all planets and turn them into extra frame districts much more efficiently than just alloys and asteroids EDIT: ascension perk is actually called 'celestial warship assembly' and unlocked by it is is called 'hyperefficient telluric dismantling' which allows you to get 'planetary mass' for frame
Discovering an abandoned gateway is a requirement for the gateway tech to spawn. Change the gateway slider to 0.0x while generating the map, and no one in your galaxy will ever roll the tech.
So what was the pop growth you ended up with? Last time i played frameworld i had like 280 per month with already a huge penalty ofc(special maintance drone), Machine empire with the modular tradition has the -80% pop housing trait.
Due to game engine / ui limitations the mass harvest thing can't happen. Cuz can add a new button to the construction ship ui. This was requested before on the Gigas discord and the answer they gave us was this
I was astonished hearing it was only a 12 hour game with how much happened. ...my twelve hour games are lucky to get to mid/end game since if I go faster than normal for too long I fall behind because there's always so much to balance or read. Micromanagement is hard and I frequently have to pause 😅 Honestly wish there were QoL mods to pre-design ships and fleets.
I had to stop playing for a while because for some reason, my planets randomly wanted a time every month or every other month just unemployed every single pop on the planet for no reason I don’t know why it’s doing that. I don’t know how to stop it, but I have to keep going in there and assigning everybody to jobs again for no reason, it makes it a chore when you have like 20 planets
Hey Aspec, I found I couldn't attack Centana until she declared war on my Empire. I would get the garbled message saying I could finally enter her systems immediately after we went to war Edit: WHY is there no shipyard on the hyperstructural assembly yard, you're missing out on 90! ship yards!!
The concept is blowing my mind. My god man, what have you done! Also its been years since I've played Stellaris and since when did we get planets that were spaceships? Wondering Earth? More like Battleship Earth.
I was doing a similar run not that long ago. Take a look at Byzantine Bureaucracy. I had -1264 housing -1641 amenities with 100% stability. Super busted for the frame.
Aspec would you consider trying out Sparable's Stellar Hyperconstructs? Its kinda goes nuts on actual theoretical hyperstructures (even going down to the microscale, there's a crisis path related to that) and it has its own end game crisis that is literally the universe falling apart. (Also its compatible with Gigastructural Engineering)
I mean, I love your videos. I'm just a bit confused by the video not being in sync of the things you talk about (or at least that seems to be the case for me) Love your content though
What other mods are you running on this? Seeing things like the Fusion fuel depot and the Bulk ore extractor in the structures list that I don't recognize.
Why not use ui overhaul and maybe ultimate automation for frameworld automations and please increase tradition/ap to 12/16, the shit gigas adds needs it

Good quick campaign. I want to do similar with Necrophage but maybe in the L-Cluster. Penrose spheres are pretty awesome.
HEH, the brief Squareworld cameo was priceless.

Looks like a borg unicomplex
about the gateways: apparently to get the gateway technology as a research option you first need to find an abandoned gateway somewhere
