    My doctor started me on 0.25 and incorporated B12 in my doses to help with nausea.

    I'm educated and not easy influenced. Medication usually does for me mostly "nothing" or it works much better than it should (ADHD brain). Very seldom in between. I started last week "by accident" with 1/3 (!) of the dose (wanted to start with a half dosage). It works for me. It's unbelievable. Side effects: Dry mouth, light headache, feeling a little icky in the stomach, but none of it was bad. No hunger, no appetite, after 2-3 days my stomach never felt better (usually the whole tract gurgles after every meal), it reduced the lymphatic water (having lipodema), blood oxygen seems to be getting better. I can't believe it...

    Started at 0.25 for 4 weeks then increased 0.5 for 4 weeks. Now at 1. No side effects aside from constipation. Doing compound with B12. I am under the care of a PA who specializes in nutrition. So watching the diet and exercise. Weight is coming off very slow!

      Healthy weight loss is 3-4 lbs per week. The body can go plateaued in that case ask the doctor’s advise. Health history is very important the major fact that some lose quick than the others.

But it was similar weight loss Zepbound, but I switched to compound Tirzepitide less side effects, now I switched to Compound Semiglutide. This being over course of time of course, I am starting lowest dose Semiglutide.

    Great pointers! Slowly increasing dosage and dealing with side effects if any before going all out and getting discouraged that it doesn’t work. I have seen and talked to people that constantly trying to change between brands and dosages . I wonder if their prescribers not taking time with their patients and teaching them. Knowledge is a big part of success then having to to use your body like a experiment. Or be your own advocate because your inpatient.

    @dr.stirrett do you recommend injecting every 4 days even after the first month? Regardless of the dosage amount? Say I want to start at .25mg for the first month and instead of weekly I inject every 4 days. Then month #2 I increase to .5mg… would you say it’s better to still inject every 4 days vs. every 7 days? As I increase dosage each month, and so on…?

    I am going to low dose right off the bat. Today, I will take 3 units instead of 5 (5 units equals: .25 Ozempic dose) and only going up to .25. I only need to loose 20lbs. Or maybe split the .25 in two shots, I will see.

  • @Mychellechic
    @Mychellechic 3 місяці тому +1

    Can we back load a syringe if we want to split the .25 into two doses to start even more conservative? Also came prelaoded as .5 and may want to split depending on side effects but just want to start carefully. Was thinking of ordering insulin syringes online to split. Thanks would love to know if this is ok to start. Im usually sensitive to meds.

I have watched so many excellent videos Dr Stirrett's as well.. but no one is mentioning any of those health issues. • @charlesrary5320

      My Dr. prescribed Ozempic for diabetes, but I am obese as well. In my situation, one of my other diabetic medications was causing constant sugar lows, which in turn caused me to eat more to pull out of the sugar low - thus the obesity. He simultaneously took me off of that medication and put me on the 0.25 mg dose of Ozempic. It was like someone turned on a switch. Within 24 hours, my blood sugar levels stabilized and my appetite dropped significantly. I moved to the 0.5 mg dose a month later, and my A1C has been between 6.4 and 6.8 since then. I've also lost 110 lbs. so far. My insulin usage has dropped about 90%. My Dr. just raised my dosage to 1 mg. and thinks I MAY be able to come totally off of the insulin after that. I also have sarcoidosis, so all this is being monitored by a rheumatologist as well.
