I enjoy watching your vids so much. It's been 15 years since I lived in Japan and I miss it sooooo much! The food, the people. All of it. Thanks so much for putting out these vids.
I love eel! And it's so much less expensive in Japan than it is in the states. I miss when I went to Japan earlier this year and had unagi almost every day 😭
Mike : "Every time I enter a 7/11 , it's like I'm home. There are so many new food items that I havn't tried" Also Mike : Proceeds to grab egg and tuna sandwich. lol.
I love that there's an option for real good food in the late hours, I wish the UK would respect food more and offer things like that and the sort of options you'd get in the 7-11.
Same in the U.S. Even our “best” convience stores, like Bucc-Ee’s, have stuff like BBQ sandwiches and fries, but nothing like real meals. Most have no hot food at all, and those that do usually just have roller hot dogs and taquitoes, or maybe pizza. It would be so cook if we could get a huge selection of freshly-made meals you can just heat up.
I want yo to try the instant ramen calld ''蒙古タンメン中本(Moko tanmen nakamoto)''. It's nice and spicy. You would love it. It's good to visit their actual shops💕
it’s funny, you told us, that you have cereal everyday, even sponsored by them, you haven’t had Cereals for awhile now, & you haven’t mentioned them for quite some time.
I'm not surprised JAL attendants kept encouraging you to order more food... even in coach, the difference between the service on a JAL flight vs a western carrier is night and day.
Yeah I'm surprised that Mike's favorite food on the airplane was ramen....who would have guessed. I'm waiting for him to do the trope of " it's the best thing I've ever had" or "the US can't compare to whatever he has outside of the country. Then he gets back to the states and says nothing can compare to whatever he had in the US. Like we don't remember when you speak down on American cooking when you're outside of it.
No way JAL’s ramen is better than ANA’s on biz class. I thought the ramen from JAL was probably the worst out of everything on the menu (not that it was bad)
There are a number of reasons why That steak was not meat glue: 1. It was cooked medium rare/rare Which would not be legal if it were Meat glued. 2. It didn’t have the texture of a meat Glued piece of meat. Not the grittiness Of the glue that would be present In undercooked meat, nor the apparent Separation between meat segments. 3. That was clearly a regular cut of steak.
@arwen-_-E.M.P. The internal cut did not look like a single piece of meat, it looked like an amalgamation. I could see no particular grain direction at all.
Can you imagine being a hostess on that flight… so many stops at the same chair kekw
Everyone is sleeping on the airplane, and Mike is eating. lol
😂
All piggy does is eat....
@@Haerinx87and yet, this piggy has more income than human like you...
He’d probably be so insufferable in person. Act like you’ve been there before, ya know.
@Paul-sl9zm i bet you don't have a body like Mike's even with the food he eats.
The Japan trip sounds incredible
Silent viewer here. I love whenever you post that you're back in Japan or South Korea.
that katsu looks so good hoooolyyy!! i would shed tears if i got to eat that!!
That katsudon looked heavenly! Which is saying something, because that unagi looked yummy as heck, too.
Unagi and Tonkatsu. Favorite dishes for not only the Japanese, but also for foreigners who live here. Highly recommended.
Okay, the crab ramen blew me away. 😮 It all looks so good from that restaurant with the egg and katsu. Yum…
That spoon too 🙈 they know what they're doing with that presentation for sure😂
Welcome back to Japan! I might try some of the shops you visit the next time I go to Tokyo. They look amazing.
The katsu, eggs and rice just blew my mind
watched ur japan series from years ago, cant wait to follow along for this one haha
10:12 Umami! Mike Chen bingo!
Great vid as always, love your passion for food 😀😀
I love that drizzle tool. ❤
I enjoy watching your vids so much. It's been 15 years since I lived in Japan and I miss it sooooo much! The food, the people. All of it. Thanks so much for putting out these vids.
the egg looks so gooooood
He makes everything look soo good...
This all looked so good. I recently tried an instant Crab Ramen I found at H-mart and I am addicted.
I love eel! And it's so much less expensive in Japan than it is in the states. I miss when I went to Japan earlier this year and had unagi almost every day 😭
Not many places have eel spine on the menu, but the unagi did look amazing, although the katsu had me drooling.

Ive looked for those costco noodles for months and have yet to see them at me costco. Looks so good
Dude's reactions to famous japanese crab ramen in tokyo and dried noodles from costco are exactly the same.
It's always the best he's ever had UGHHHMAYYZINGGG OOOOMAAAMIII

I personally enjoy watching someone who just enjoys their meals. I'm not looking for a critic 😆
leave my boy alone
Because he is comparing the crab ramen to the best ramen he's ever had and the Costco noodles to other supermarket noodles lol
the crab ramen looks so good
Hi Mike
Thank you for sharing.
I wish the U.S. had stores like this. Unfortunately, so many would not respect them.
Same story here in 🇨🇦. They should do a pilot project in 1-2 cities in the U.S. and Canada and see how it goes.
Thanks!
Dude that onagi, reminded of friends😂😂😂
I don't know If anyone noticed but his hands are shaking a LOT . Hope all good Mike!!
I’m considering going to japan this year, do you have any advice at all? Been watching all your vids but can’t get better advice than from an expert
whats a baygo?
What’s the address for the katsudon? Same place?
I love bleu cheese on steak! Also a squeeze of fresh lime.
I just went there last week...
and I miss it already.
it’s funny, you told us, that you have cereal everyday, even sponsored by them, you haven’t had Cereals for awhile now, & you haven’t mentioned them for quite some time.
Japanese 7-11 has the best egg salad sandwich ever
You should stay at Aman hotel or Andaz toronomon hotels… your on your way to the next level
I wonder if they still greet you when you walk in and out of a convenience store in Japan. I know they used to when I lived there.
Japanese people: seven eleven is a convenience store.
Mike: seven eleven is my home.
Just a feedback. You microphone is not very clear when you’re outside and not in a room.
13:47 - You said they are ONLY open from 9 PM to 6 PM....that is a long time.
to 6am
9pm fo 6am
The filet looked like it was as soft as hamburger meat. From the panacotta and other foods it looks like Japan makes the best version of foods.
What's cruzine?
The service on a JAL flight is great, even in economy. I can’t wait to experience first class on JAL.
Shout out to ANA. Great service as well! I’m just somewhat inclined more towards to JAL.
The food on my flight was really good
Yo Mike - tonkotsu and tonkatsu are 2 different words with 2 different pronunciations 😉
Business clas probably expensive af but if you get all those meals, snacks, freebies at least there's that
Hey Mike! Happy Friday.. Aww Man. In a cold day or anyday. Yum-my 😋 Great meals. That Ramen.. Enjoy.. 🐞🤗
My guy Mikey should come to Montreal 🇨🇦 for the infamous (classic) poutine
I would genuinely be so nervous to eat all that on a flight to Japan because if I needed to poop 😅😢 nooooo
4:14 the piping hot ramen 🍜 looks looks rich and creamy 🤤
how much was the 7-11 breakfast?
I just want to ask, does 7-11 there has trash bins?
I absolutely LOVE your trips to Japan ❤
I'm not surprised JAL attendants kept encouraging you to order more food... even in coach, the difference between the service on a JAL flight vs a western carrier is night and day.
My JAL biz class flight attendant told me maybe I’m ordering too much but I only ordered the ramen and curry and fruits 😅
I would join Mikey for some noodleshahaha
You find good eats everywhere you go and they all look very appetizing too. All good show and tell for sure. I enjoy to the fullest

Was that a first class flight? Also what air line?
Jal (Japan airline) business class
I'm a student at Indiana University, South Bend and i'm going to be spending a month there for a study of program this May!
Does he even know any other words to describe flavors? the only thing he ever says is umami and numby
Mike legit sounds like a broken record at this point with these food reviews.
But yet you still watch.
He just needs more vocabs instead of being overly dramatic with the same words, Uhhhhmazing and Umami!
@AdamLemus-si4ei Oh no really? I thought he did, you just ruined my existence 🤣🤣🤣
@@BethDoublekickChickignore the trolls. Check their past comments and you will notice a pattern

Surfshark again?
I may of missed it but is the eel saltwater or freshwater eel? I love both.
Fresh

I can't find those noodles at my Costco 😞
Why is the background music so loud?

What kind of Ramen was that? I didn’t see any English so therefore, I am ignorant.
Why are people hating so much?
Surprised he didn't select the japanese meal for the first meal
It’s from US to Japan and thus, the catering is based in US and probably not going to be as good
go singapore cafes and resturant
Wow, I’m early. I wish I could afford those airline seats.
Aloe-yogurt has been around for a long time. Surprised it hasn't spread around the world yet. Doubt there's a patent on it.

@@arwen-_-E.M.P.Also, source on the claim they can't cook it medium?
The frame at 3:30 shows pieces "falling" off and separating. Regular steak doesn't do that. Pork maybe...

A decent amount of people know. Eel is usually associated with the British dish
