Everyone is sleeping and Mikey is eating. I wouldn't want to be the flight stewardess when Mikey's on a long haul flight.
Bro slurping those noodles so loud my neighbors woke up 💀
Wow…You are so correct 😂😂😂😂.
That's respectful to the chef ^~^
Lol
Lol😂
@@KanoSutra and obnoxious to the listener
"You think it`d be a little too rushed to order my Anytime Meal ?" You took the words right out of my thoughts, Mike! 😂
I must have flown over a hundred times on JAL Business class since the days it was still labeled Executive class. They have improved over the years and although they are geared a bit towards their Japanese passengers, it’s definitely better than western airlines that fly the same route. A few tips of mine when you’re flying JAL are, a) get their freshly cooked rice when on the plane - the fact they literally cook their rice on the fly itself is actually remarkable, but this is a difficult feat when under a low pressure environment. JAL has perfected this so always worth a try. When in the lounge b) try out their curry as Mikey san suggests. You should be able to scoop as much beef as you want in certain lounges. And finally c) if you’re flying First class out of Tokyo, try the western menu. They serve genuine caviar in a jar and the main course is normally a high quality wagyu beef steak. I’ve never had an airline meal which I can honestly say that rivals a high end restaurant.
Wanna give me ur money?

😂😂😂
@@lucasdiaz9966 Actually, I wouldn’t mind as long as I take the pay.
I love how even a "bland" airline meal still has like 1.5x the amount of spices the original recipe calls for because of loss of taste at pressurized altitude. Which means if its really good then it's extremely seasoned to get that taste through😂 most american airlines use mustard or horseradish in their dishes to increase the pungency of flavors
White shirt and noodles, the courage this man has on a another level 🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣😂😂
lol
I cant imagine sitting next to a mic’d up man slurping noodles that loudly 😂
Freaking annoying lol😂
I - think - it's a normal thing to slurp in some asian countries! A couple chinese exchange students visited for the same university course as me in Sweden and they slurped and chewed very loudly when we ate lunch :) In Scandinavia it's courtesy to eat silently, but I think its just a cultural difference!
I think the way he eats is actually really gross. Hard to watch but I get recommended all the time.
This was forever ago. He's isn't that loud. Plus like he said everyone is slurping around him
I would slurp only if people around me also slurp.
But if everyone were thinking like me, no one would be slurping.
I thought this was table manners when you eat outside. Go with the flow, if people around you is slurping, slurp. If no one is slurping, maybe a good approach would be to not slurp.
“I’ve been drinking more coffee lately” takes smallest sip the world has ever seen 🤣😂
The JAL instant udon had fishcakes with little planes? Too cute!
Love these airline reviews.
Safe travels Mike . These 1st class meals be 5 Star. Enjoy, get home safely.. ❤️🐞
Makes me wish I could afford to fly that class. It all looks delicious.
Awesome episode thankyou 👏
U should rename channel the noodle prince since u seem obsessed with them!/ and that loud slurping 2! lol
Okay, the wrapping of the rice is adorable!
Love your vids man. Also, I've been putting your hot oil on everything lately, so good!
Bravo Mike, Fabulous Live Food Travel Show ! Food Looks Great 👍"Japanese Seafood Curry and others Foods, Cheers 😺
YOUR MY FAVORITE UA-camR THAT UPLOADS ! IT REALLY HELPS ME WITH GAINING AN APPETITE THANK YOU MIKE FOR EVERYTHING
15:09 Japanese curry is exceptional. I first ate curry in Japan. I lived there for many years, and to me, Japanese curry is curry. Since then I've learned to love - of course - Indian curry and Thai curry. But Japanese curry is my first love.💕💕
It's so easy to make.🍛😋👍
@@deanflet973 Even easier to just order. Just saying.
Out of all the flight food reviews you've done that menu was incredibly comprehensive. And other than the instant noodles and sandwich everything you got looked really good especially that pasta dish.
Welcome back to Singapore 👏👏👏👏

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 I hope 2023 is much better than 2022. Xx

japan airlines is one of my favorite airlines because of their food!
I been watching for years when I be eating I put you on I be thinking I’m there eating with you the way you describe the taste is so door keep up the content and great eats!
Interesting to see as I've only flown ANA. The food and service on ANA is superb even in the economy class.
Mike came a long way. I remember when you used to fly middle seat coach. Balling now
Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful video❤. Mr. Mike, you showed many Japanese food meals.
Now, I am wondering how his stomach is going! Is it fine? How can you keep such a good shape?
wow ! for a plane meal ! cheers !
Mike Chen, let me tell you something that you probably already know. Your content is AWESOME!! People like you. I know it's because your charismatic but something about you, undescribable is great. Keep up the good work bro!
Hi Mikey, love the videos! Sorry to be a bother, but for the past couple of videos there's sometimes been a really high pitched sound, I guess not everyone can hear it since I havent seen it mentioned in the comment section, but Im pretty sure its the mic or camera or a wire or something. (the high pitched sound is present from 0:37 to 1:10, doesnt seem to appear anytime else) Regardless of the noise, I still very much appreciate your videos, its nice having someone to eat with!
Mike. You amazing!
Omg 😱 everything looks delicious 😂
I could watch you eat and make comments all day!
mikey chen just saved my night🔥
3:30 UPS got a ticket! No one is safe lmao
Welcome back!
I love seeing you trying different airline food and posting them since I travel a lot makes me prepare for my future trips
He eats the same things.. wtf are you talking about?
Need to get back to buffets 🐻
Mikey, has ur restaurants opened up yet? Didn’t u have one opening in NYC and TX?
Hi Mike, hopefully can meet you when you’re in a hawker centre that I am there too. Fingers crossed.
Welcome back to SG Mike! Any plans on hosting a fan meetup? 👀🤣
I’m not amazed by the JAL food. But amazed by how much food Mike actually eats during the flights.omg that’s really ALOT OF FOOD!~
@@rustyshackleford8531 Nah you gotta eat if you are hungry. I flew on JAL years ago, Its 18+ hours flight crossing the pacific [air turbulence is the worst ever] .. 10+ hour lay over at Seattle Tacoma airport, you have to eat to refuel constantly during a travel. Oh before boarding the plane I was exercising on the stairs, while on the plane I was yoga stretching [to stay in shape or walking back and forth]. Your body do need food therefore have to eat a lot ~ I brought food/fruits to the airport [solo flight for myself to Japan], all foods/fruits are eaten preflight [and I am still hungry while on JAL], so for Mike, he is a eater like me [its just I am in better shape than him haha].
@@rustyshackleford8531 that’s why he’s still fit. He works out a lot
You should revisit all these see how better the food is
Three black long thin stuff with the carrot it's called hijiki salad. What you had on your layover.
Ohhh, man, you're making me want to go back to Japan so much, now...I miss it so! I miss seeing Miss Christine in your videos because you two are such an adorably wholesome couple, has she been that busy with her studies?

Mike said, I hope my flights delayed so that he could stay in the lounge & eat. 😆😍🤣😂😁😊👊
I have to mute the slurping lol. It's like nails on a chalkboard for me LOL
I believe JAL lounges are open to PE customers as well just like ANA not sure if you can pay to enter the lounge
Mike Chen folks: stuffing his maw across time zones :)
Mike, my fiancée and I watch you each time you put out a video. We are worried for you. You’re looking tired and haggard. You need to stay put somewhere.
Why do you slurp.. ??? I don't.. 🤣
You look rough mate. I would have a full medical if I were you. Get checked out asap. You can’t blame everything on jet lag.

Thanks 😊 Mike!! Happy Travels!!
Do you know if you can use lounge if you are arriving at the airport (with no connecting flight)?
Hey Mike, when you order a 'diet coke' but get 'coke zero' does that upset you?
Hello Mikey
Do you have to pay for food even if you are in encomy Class seats or is it free for everyone On that flight and and that are going to. Japan or Singapore? for the food lounge even though freedom for bissness class? I've never been in airport loungers before?
P.S how do you get in these lounges. No one tells us so it's good to know as I'm flying to Japan soon ish . Also is the food in the lounge free or do you have to pay for it? I'm a new person who's never been in a lounge before?
Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💖 🎅 🎄
Wait the desert for both menus was mascarpone mousse, how'd you get yoghurt?
U reminded me of a sumo wrestler slurping their food ❤❤❤ love it 😊😊😊
Hainanese Curry and Japanese Curry tasted the similar curry quality. yummies
@@-mikechean040 freeaway I don't need
I have 2 questions. 1. Do you need to pay an additional fee for the anytime menus? I have been watching a couple channels and no one touches on that. 2. Are the airlines giving full descriptions of what is in the dishes on the menus? I ask because it seems like mushrooms are randomly being added to everything and as someone with a severe allergy to most fungi it is important that I know if a dish will have mushrooms so I can plan accordingly, I normally bring my own snacks on flights just in case but I have a fear of flying so I have only been able to handle short 1-2 hour trips. I'm working up to longer.
The anytime menus are included in the price of a business class ticket. The menus usually describe in some detail what’s the main course options include, but it’s best to ask the attendants if you have an allergy. A large number of airlines have chips, cookies and things like that as part of the anytime, but most also include a hot food item like instant noodles in the case of Korean, JAL and ANA.
When booking your ticket for a flight with meal options you can tell them if you have food restrictions/allergies. I have family who have food restrictions and they always do this and havent had any issue. They also bring their own snacks as back ups.
At 16:34, i think thats Almond Jello. 😂
Great video Mike!
At 10:08, that doesn't look like a Diet Coke can!! LOL!! 😅
Could you please please please do a review on Uptown Nasi Lemak in Telok Ayer and Chilli Pan Mee (Bath Road) at China Street?
Ramen with a white shirt. Always adventurous 😝
Love ya mike awesome as always
Eww
Hey Mikey, Why didnt you get the Wagu on the 2nd Flight?
The JAL Lounge is famous for its curry
For as simple as it is, Japanese curry remains one of my favorite things to eat.
Japanese curry and rice. And a Sapporo. This is heaven.
Is there a reason to return to Singapore? Not a complaint but a curiosity
Woo
Man! Thank you for doing rush hour 4! Great News
No news from your restaurant in Texas ?
I think Mike must have more than one stomach I can’t believe how much he can pack away it’s kinda impressive even though he eats and reviews it for a living ..I’m Jealous 😜
Mike is definitely looking rough these days. All that sodium and fat is showing all over! I wouldn't call it impressive.
@@ratedrkorox he works out.
@@Rin-ze2fr No, he's right. Look at his videos some years back. Mike's definitely gained some kg, and it's not muscle. His skin also shows signs of a salty diet. This is not a healthy lifestyle, but as long as he is happy I guess.
Ohh so you the guy always blowing up the bathroom on the airplane
Wait... flying back to Singapore? You must REALLY love singapore. It's 16-23h flight
i love the asian food airlines they are amazing and most of them is without dairy
Some will give you diarrhea, though.
@@tomnamsa depends on what you eat and how cooked they are
Coffee??? And broccoli isn’t a an instant no anymore ? WHO ARE YOU ! WHERE IS MIKEY ?
Oh man. I did not know I can go to the JAL lounge even though I'm only flying Economy class???!! I will definitely try to do this next time OMG!! Has anyone flying Economy tried this before?
No there is a business class and first class lounge. You may be able to access with certain status, but just economy nope. Don't know why he thought this
@@estellegregory2522 maybe it’s true on airports in Japan only
I looked on their website, economy plus and greater get access to the lounges. Economy plus was about 60%-80% cheaper than business class.
@@kimberly7613 Ohhh. Economy plus! I see. Thanks!
JAL rarely, very rarely, disappoints.
when you return to Japan your viewings will hit the roof
Entry to the JAL Sakura Lounge requires you to fly in First, Business or Premium Economy Classes, or have Oneworld Sapphire or Emerald status. Economy class passengers without status are not permitted to enter, sadly.
What is potake?
I got a question... wouldn't it be easier to just pour the broth into the ramen rather then dipping the noodles each time? Is it to prevent the noodles from turning soggy?
❤❤❤
Yay!
I’d like to have a pork bun or 6 to dip in the broth of the noodles in the beginning of the video
Mike (or anyone), do you have any tips for nervous flyers? I used to be better when flying but as I've been on more flights I get more and more nervous it seems. I always like to keep you in the back of my mind when I'm on a plane, and it reassures me somewhat haha.
Xanax
Boats. Cars. Drugs.
I swear the amount of videos he probably has banked would amaze us, they left Singapore and are already back in the US, if I remember right. Has anyone made a Mike's travels map? I think Triple D has one someone made. But Mike needs one as well, with links to the video about the place as well. :)
He doesn’t posts the time he travels. This is probably from September because he said he’s go back to japan a few weeks later after they reopen. They reopened Oct 11th
Slurping, more slurping and more slurping sprinkled on.
Imagine buying a business class ticket just to hear Mikey eat the entire menu
@@divinekpl1 Even the people in economy can hear his slurping
