I was debating between the original R6 and A7IV but then the R6 II came out and it was a no brainer. I got the R6 II for the better body, better menus, better LCD, no 4K crop, better battery life, and it was CHEAPER than the Sony! I like the 33 MP of the Sony but when I upscale the R6 II files, they look just as detailed (even more depending on the lens and if I use Adobe's "enchance" feature"). I'm using Sigma Art lenses adapted on the R6 II and WOW. AF is better than it was on DSLRs, and on par or better than native RF lenses. My Sigma Art 50 1.4 is smaller than the RF 50 1.2, and is just as sharp. The Sigma focuses FASTER than the RF lens, and costs 1/3 of the price! So to me adapting EF lenses is not only fine, it's exceptional. That's something that Nikon and Sony can't claim with adapted lenses... that they work as well as native mirrorless glass. My adapted EF 70-200 2.8 III is just as fast and accurate as the RF version, and still bitingly sharp, for about 1/2 the price. I'd still probably rather have native third party options but for now I can say I'm not missing much at all. You can't even get a 50mm 1.4 for the Sony lineup that competes with the Sigma Art 50 for the Canon when it comes to price and performance. (you could adapt a Canon lens but it will never work as well on the Sony as adapted on the Canon) Your videos are fantastic BTW.
Rf lenses are little bit pricy but awesome. Compared to G master II they are almost same. I hv the trinity of RF lenses 15-35 f2.8 28-70 f2.0 70-200 f/4 And thats amazing❤

Autofocus of the A7 IV is better if you consider also BIRD EYE AF and Real time tracking. I have the R6 II from last week. superlative on the human eye, but less good on bird and tracking

The Fujifilm X-H2S is an interesting alternative wild card to these two cameras. APSC, but the stacked sensor offers some undeniable advantages.
