Saw them at First Avenue in Mpls. this last May. Hadn't been to that venue in years (getting old). Had been waiting to see them live since I first heard "When Jokers Attack" on an internet radio station in 2004. That's when I got bit, and bit hard. Greatest band in the world of course. This was the first chance I had to see them live. Of course wasn't going to miss it. Three hours of utter bliss. I laughed, roared, cried and haven't had such an experience since, since... not since ANYTHING. No band, at any stage in my life has ever inspired me, blasted me to the core or had the power to shift my heart and perspective on my own life as this band has, whether on disc, vinyl or digital and almost beyond comprehension, live. They TRANSCEND, in the purest form. That Anton, and the band, only get better is an enigma to the degree that all one can do is sit back and thank Anton, and whatever deity you believe in, that this is a part of our lives.

My attention span is shit but the first song really blew me away. I have never seen this band before, heard of or anything. Just goes to show what shit the masses are fed and what total wanknuts the music industry is. God Bless 'em and rock forever.

Saw them way back at a small underground club in Seattle with Dandy Warhols. F'ing incredible memorable concert including a sort-of duet with Courtney and Anton.

They played so many old favorites...i just found this and was wondering the same... They must have been playing at a venue where people just buy tickets just bc it's 'the' venue to be at no matter what. They obviously didn't know what they were witnessing....
