Whatever Happened to My Rock 'n' Roll (Punk Song)

One of the best rock'n'roll bands of the "modern age" (post 2000) and still stuck in playing daylight slots in festivals ! Never really got the recognition they deserve.
they´re the best rnr-band of the 2000´s and beyond and they´re the best live band I´ve ever seen. I´ve seen them approx 15-16 times by now, travelled a lot of places within Germany and Europe to see them perform and they´re always at 110%. God, I just love this band
Good! they haven't sold their soul too much then 😂 and yea an incredible band... saw them live once at Leeds Festival!
The only thing that matters to them is playing music. They play where they can live their craft.
yap
My favorite band ever! This guys proves that Rock N' Roll is not fucking dead!
I'm a 65 yr. old man, and this is the first time that I have heard BRMC. For some unforseen reason, I just can't get enough! Love this shit!!

2021 ❤ From S-O-T 🏴
Been on these fuckers since the early naughties...
Love em!!!
Just can't stop listening to this awesome band and I'm fkn 60 years old. Wish the younger kids would listen to this music. Happy life everyone.
First time I've heard this, love it and I'm an old fart of 78.
I hope to be this cool when I'm 60😎😎😎
Been listening to them since the first record, so I was 14, now I'm 35 and I cannot wait anymore to see them live 😢
The first time I listened this band was when I was 15 or maybe 16 years old, now I'm 32 and I can't and won't stop listening to them., they're a great musicians and I kind of appreciate the fact that they're mostly and underrated band, that makes it even more special
I recently discovered them at the age of 37. Ive mostly been listening to electronic music, but this is right up my alley. Alongside stuff like Death in Vegas, Turbonegro, The Picturebooks, Tom Morello and Warmduscher.
My favorite band. That crowd looks like they've never heard of them
God this band never god the recognition they deserved
Checkout the guitarist here singing his Dads song! type in 'The Call featuring Levon Been' top video on the vevo site.🔥
Thats coz the music industry is now run by the uncool kids at school in the 80s, hence the mainstream music today. Good that BRMC never got really big, coz I would have not feel special about being their fan if they were.
It is only my opinion, but I believe that it is a fact that this is the best band that has ever existed on this planet and if there is life on other planets in the universe, then there might have something like humans evoved there, but certainly nothing like BRMC.
As a bass player, that bass playing on Red Eyes And Tears is something special!!!
simple bass line but more importantly, the song breaths while you grind your teeth till it bleeds.
Essential rock. Dirty noisy edgy and catchy.
the way satan intended :)
all is art, the tunings on guitars are creepy (EBEBBE) sometimes, the instruments in themself look ´s like the ones we see on the ¨Only Lovers Left Alive Movie ¨. Only vampires can get such beautiful vintage instruments ;-) the guy on the keys seems to play with a Casio ´s like keys toy surrounded by guitars pedals, the harmonica and the voice of the lead guitarist use the same mic seems something cheap. the Drums are play straight with some little unexpected syncopated breaks which give a very special groove never heard before. I guess she use Indian ´s drums not sure but the sound is also unique. lot of fuzz, great lyrics and great musically structured songs one word.GENIUS
I must've watched/listened to this whole show a hundred and fifty times and it is still one of the best captured...
I have seen BRMC five times and they always deliver the goods. One of the greatest bands and biggest secrets in music. Don't believe me? Go see them and you will!
Yeap , i know what u r talking about 😀😀
This has become one of my Favourite things to watch. Normally don't go for live recordings but I can just picture myself in the crowd when I watch this.
by far one of the best bands this planet earth has ever seen !
ive been on brmc concert in russia, moscow, i broke my voice for 3 days, couldnt fell my legs for 2 days,
we slammed i small crowd of people, it was awesome, best memories in my life
to sum up, there is always a couple people who can feel real rush of their songs, feel every word
Were they in Russia, seriously?
Beautifully said my friend 😊
Then you know how to fuckin' Rock n' Roll.
39:19 Damn that little bass lick is sweet, his Rivoli sings
Thankyou for pointing that out, that was so tasty. That Rivoli is looking pretty beat up these days. It's the bass equivalent of Willy Nelson's Trigger.
It was his Fathers (Michael Been of "The Call") stolen in 2010 returned years later to Peter
Now THIS is the Definition of Cool!
this is what rock n roll suppose to be...awesome
I saw these guys open for Depeche mode last year. Never had heard of them. Sounded good. Then started listening to their music on UA-cam and realized they rock! Now I'm pissed I hadn't heard of them sooner!!!
They came in a wave of indie bands at the beginning of the 00s. The average ones faded away, but these guys are still going strong
@@elemkay5104 Yep, I remember seeing them at festivals back in the day, I figure in the 90's even? Memory is vague! I remember always thinking they were great, think we saw them a few times and liked them, but now I watch these videos and am amazed and wonder why we didn't pay more attention to them back in the day. Maybe I matured? Maybe they matured? Maybe both? I tell ya one thing, If I ever get the chance to see them live again, I will quit my job to make that happen!
Red Eyes and Tears, top tune! Wow last time ai looked these were young fellas. How time flies!
Peter Hayes may be the coolest
Mighty Duck, pretty much. My band toured with The Dandy Warhols once and Peter came to the show in LA and it was the one time I was actually Star-struck. And I’ve met a lot of famous musicians.
@@zachariahwhiton3948 Ah dude thats so sick! Whats the name of your band man? would love to check you out. My band have opened for some decently big gigs but never toured with the likes of dandy warhols, so thats super sick!!
Mighty Duck, sorry just seeing this-
My band is 1776 and we have a bunch of videos on here if you search “1776 band Portland”-otherwise you get a bunch of colonial play music. 😂 our music video “I Won’t Be Your Prey” was produced by Courtney from The Dandys and shot in their factory: “The Odditorium”. Give us a listen.
Mighty Duck, what’s your band? 😀
Just hearing them tonight for the first time. Fantastic band. What a sound. :-)
Love these guys! The Harley Sportster ad got me into them, and been following ever since👍
First time I heard this band was the ‘Spread your love song’ off a magazine cd compilation like 10 years ago or such. Loved them ever since.
Never new this was such a great band thanks to Robert Levin Been
That bass is BEAUTIFUL
That bass 😍
That fucking bass man! Love it!!
Edge of U2 once said, these guys bring back the soul of rock n’ roll
Been a fan since the first record. The very embodiment of a rock’n’ roll band, songs and image, the whole damn package.
Today I learnt there's only three of them! They make so much noiseeee 😎😎😎
I like them the best when they rock the hardest. Great set. Leah rocks!
oh man leah is a drum godess, and she loves her sonors
It just doesn't get any better!!!!
The mix is brilliant here
Wow, Peter Hayes is looking SHARP there!
Wow this concert looks nothing short of amazing!
Appreciate your music and just love you. And guess ill love u'all forever-ever.
So rare to finde some good music these days ...but this is a real pearl, thx so much!
just thank you !
dammmm!!! What a sound!!! This band as always amazing!!
Excellent crew BRMC, still speeding and psychie !
Best band in America , Peter Hayes is up their with the best Guitarist . Humble man too
I just found this band! So good. I'm excited to explore more!
Loved your gig at Grå Hal, Denmark 5th June '19 - we has a party - respect
I love this band! Hopefully get the chance to see them soon
I need this in my life again!!
Witnessed and experienced BRMC in concert in Australia, this mega talent is even better live than their recordings! Not many bands around capable of that, and of course they are the coolest band on the planet!
I need to lie down after that. Outstanding stuff.
Oh my god! this is fucking awesome, sounds great!

So fucking cool. I really hope I get a chance to see them one day. Creative, talented, entertaining.
They have their own sound. It’s hypnotic , a little dark but it’s good. Would go see them live.
Thank you my friends all power the band. sor de argentina fuerte abrazo.
I saw these guys when they covered for Stp in Indiana at the casino . Sounded great 👍
the soundtrack our lives... rock n roll yeah
GARAGE ROCK, ALTERNATIVE ROCK, INDIE ROCK, BLUES ROCK, PSYCHEDELIC ROCK, REVIVAL AWESOME
Holy Smokes, Dash Lekkah, Ze' ! Thnx4Upld
Greatest band ever.
Class man
I honestly listen to them as much as Led Zeppelin and the Doors! I agree with you
Definitely one of them.
@@deepwaters4238 i have met 1 member of Led Zeppelin! can you guess who though!?
bonzo?
Ok BRMC only deserves to be played in the dark!
I was passing by and here we are again XD
Right now Best rock and roll band of the world
They are straight up BAD Asses!
BRILLIANT..
FUCK!! This video makes me miss them playing live so much!!! It’s been so long since they last played, I hope and pray to the universe that they are in the process of getting ready to tour again, no new album needed! Trust me, all albums are good! 🙏🏼🤞🏼🌌
Do you know - they have performed 12 concerts in March 2022 in Australia / Under The Southern Stars 2022 Tour
But yes - we need defintely a new CD !!! ;)
@@JohnStoneman100 ….oh I know, was so jealous. They’re touring with The Cult but no dates for my neck of the woods 😢
