So when you disable EIS, the frame becomes wider and your mount comes into the frame a little bit. It happens will deeper phone cases as well.

Freewell really did their thing with this setup. Finally a high quality, easy to use setup for at least one Android manufacturer. Well done. Thinking of getting one for my 22 Ultra as it should still fit.
The camera bumps on the back of the S23 ultra are larger so the S22 and S23 ultra a different in terms of those specs design wise. I've tried using cases made for the S22 on my S23 and they just don't fit.

Just bought my 512gb S23 Ultra and the Freewell Case + ND kit. The first one got lost in the mail 😅, but I ordered another one and I cannot wait to film everything on my phone moving forward!!
The first problem I noticed in trying to use pro video is that we're unable to shoot in HDR10+. It's an unfair trade-off that I find incredibly vital. HDR is dramatically overlooked in filming. In my opinion, nothing that is capable of filming hdr should ever be shooting in sdr. It makes a bigger difference than resolution by miles. We're also unable to shoot in 21:9 and/or 8k 24fps in regular video mode.
I am really enjoying your S23U series of videos. I stumbled upon your first video recently "Apple fanboi unboxing" and it was endearing to see you discover there is a lot more out there beyond Apple. Your personality and video editing style is outstanding too! I am looking forward to watching more of your content as a new subscriber.
@@reuvenlim1 don’t think that’s the reason you may ask Steven as a marketing prospective I think that’s a good thing not to show the case or everything in the thumbnail to make audience watch the video. sure we would like to offer unlimited options however all this cost money, mold, time, minimum order quantities which isn’t specially viable for Samsung as Samsung accounts for one is to 100 in terms of iPhone filter sales at the same time changing the phone case color meaning also changing our grip color which again has huge minimum order quantity requirement. So hopefully Samsung users can prove us wrong because if not for Steven we would not even make this as you can see no other companies investing on Samsung filters, lenses anymore.
@@FreewellGearDo you plan to create more filters for Samsung? I bought your ND filters, I admit that a "half" filter for sunsets would be useful. I'd probably buy every one I'm missing, but I understand it depends on interest. I'm glad you didn't leave Samsung users with nothing 🙂

God finally.after so long gokd to see someone actually having attachments and actually shoot on the ultra. Any other video.ive seen over the years no one properly uploaded the resolution
This is really cool. Usually when I see these kids of photography kits, they're only available for iPhones. Really awesome to see one for such a good Android phone. I've been considering buying the S23 Ultra and if I do, I might pick this up. I really don't do much video - really only street and portrait photography with my phone. Wondering how this would be for photos only. I know the value of ND filters as I use them on my mirrorless camera sometimes. But I'm curious if the anamorphic lens is worth the extra money over the base ND filter set they offer for just photography.
I'm more than happy to give you my like for high quality content like this. PS: Please reconsider suggesting Filmic Pro after what they did to their paying customers. There are good alternatives to it...

Im surprised how well the S23 U films with ND filter and proper motion blur in 8k I know in my previous video I said 8k is a gimmick, but OMG once the footage is filmed with a proper motion blur it looks incredible, so I was wrong 8k+ND filters make this phone camera a dominant force against other flagships for sure!
With regards to the Anamorphic lens, I think without was better if your subject matter is focused. I'm thinking the detail on the door in the before @6:15 is so crisp along with the statue top left and the corner wall right. However if you want the wide shot the Anamorphic lens allows for it, with less definition.
Thank you for this good video. Showing more of the differences between the normal and the Gold anamorphic lens would have been cool. Anyway, thank you for the work
Thank you! initially I talked in the video about it as well as other technical stuff, but when editing I thought it's too much nerdy stuff etc, so I decided to cut it out lol Either way: The main difference between the gold and blue streak is in the flare color, also the gold one gives a bit more warm feeling to the overall image hence the streak color.

Hi Steven! just a quick answer about the motion blur! Of course it feels better with the rule for correct motion blur, but in this cases that we use a phone (or action camera) that has digital stabilization (not a real gimbal) is it better to adapt for the motion blur or it´s best to use a faster spped in order to help the OIS of the phone? thank you very much!
Amazing content! Definitely learnt useful tips from this video. Quick question Steven, what happens if you used zoom lens on the 10x telephoto lens? (Eg, Will it produce sharper moon shots?) 🌕
Thank you so much for watching and support! No, ND filter will not make it crispier, its main goal is to add motion blur and control shutter speed, but it will not enhance the sharpness. There is a CPL polarizer filter for S23U that helps to remove the glare and reflections from shiny objects, but I don't think it will make moon photos any better as its mostly used for landscape photography. So once again the ND filter is for creating motion blur with controlling your shutter speed. I will be posting next episode soon and cover a bit more about that there too, stay tuned!
The anamorphic lens is a cool idea, it reminded me of Moment lens. However, I don't think it's as good as I saw the distortion of the buildings, light poles, trees, etc. and also there was a light leek in the top left edge of the frame as well. Very interesting video bro.
Is there something to improve macro photos? I have to record small parts in movement. The phone is actually asesome but with those gadgets you get much better results. nice video, review and explanations
Prague is such a lovely city! Last year I was there two weeks to teach an animation storyboard seminar in Cesky Krumolov (did I spell that right?) Without lens. - It seems true colours when it's not added to the lens. My s24 ultra makes great photos. I believe the photographer is responsible for the results, not totally dependent on the external lens.
Congratulations on the high quality work on this video. I have a doubt that drying can help that this is where I can buy the filters for the lenses? I have the lenses and the ND filters, but you wanted the filters for the lenses like you have in the video... again congratulations on the content

Good video with cool ideas. Thank you. Btw: Do you have a recommendation for a handy smartphone gimbal that eliminates the unwanted movements which impacts the most: vertical bumps during a walk?
I recommend use MC 24 fps pro to shooting anamorphic footage, because the stock camera has stabilization that cannot be disabled, you can also desqueeze the video in camera and record in 4:3 open gate to have more information for a final result of 2:35 aspect ratio with 1.55x lenses

Extra amusing give it is Samsung TV that is pushing HDR10+ so hard (because they don't want to pay a license fee for DV).
Awesome, thank you so much!
Yow man your videos were auto suggested to me and I have to say that I'm enjoying your content. I have subscribed. Thanks for all the tutorials 🎉
Amazing! Thank you!
Your skills put in together with the Anamorphic lens is amazing 😍 I personally prefer the videos with the Anamorphic lens 🔥
Yes, the anamorphic lens ads a lot of character to the image! Thank you so much! means a lot to me!
@@StevenDivish every single content you made mean alot, been trying to do some stuffs here out of your contents but only from the pictures aspect
Thank you for this one. I’ve been trying to find filters for my ultra. Thank you for the link to Amazon.
Thank you for watching! Make sure to stay tuned for the next video!
Those cinemorphic footage are epic 👌
Possible to have more phone case options for S23 ultra? Steven didn't even show your phone case in his thumbnail which says alot 🤷♂️
@@bolo1845 what is half filter?
@@FreewellGear Graduated grey filter. I think that's what it's called in English. A filter that is dark in one place and gradually becomes lighter. Used for shooting a landscape with the sky.
I love the way you evolve a simple cell phone camera 🤩
you are a beast, bro. awesome stuff and good explanation of what you are doing to get the results.
Thanks man! Appreciate it a lot!
3:17 yes I see the difference
Loved it
I'm more than happy to give you my like for high quality content like this.
PS: Please reconsider suggesting Filmic Pro after what they did to their paying customers. There are good alternatives to it...
Do you know of an alternative where I can shoot anamorphic in real time?
Excited to get my s24 Ultra with a similar set up! Didnt even know Freewell did this equipment till watching this so thanks and im looking forward to that video!
Incredible content once again Steven! Thank you very much for all the tips and accessory options 😁
These Lens are fantastic!
damn, you're really delivering the best content out here.
Thank you so much!
WOW, this convinced me to get samsung, I knew it had more capabilities but I never bought lenses, I even earned the cost back through a shorti film phone contest, yet I always felt the iphone was better, this looks sooo much better jezz
Awesome content! I'm such a newbie when it comes to the terminology of photography and what each setting means. I'm a point & shoot guy but looking to expand my knowledge. Got some of the Freewell products in my cart ready to take the plunge!
I've been living in Prague for the last 4 years, and throughout the whole video I was excited 😂
ND or Anamorphic?
ps. I think these are the first camera accessories for S23 ultra ever made!
Both!
Im surprised how well the S23 U films with ND filter and proper motion blur in 8k
I know in my previous video I said 8k is a gimmick, but OMG once the footage is filmed with a proper motion blur it looks incredible, so I was wrong 8k+ND filters make this phone camera a dominant force against other flagships for sure!
Anyway, thank you for the work
Thank you! initially I talked in the video about it as well as other technical stuff, but when editing I thought it's too much nerdy stuff etc, so I decided to cut it out lol
Either way: The main difference between the gold and blue streak is in the flare color, also the gold one gives a bit more warm feeling to the overall image hence the streak color.
@@StevenDivish 🤣I feel you. I do UA-cam content too. Thats why I watch your content, to make mine better. Still difficult, cause I am filming 1:10 scale cars and thats a different thing.
Anyway, going too deep people get bored. Easy and short, not enough Information.
But I want you to know that I appreciate your work
Great video! You definitely know what you're doing! 👍
Nice to know there are now custom nd filters for s23 ultra. Im using nd1000 with 10 stops using the s22 adapter for my s23 ultra. N64 has very little effect, if your taking of a photo of a waterfall during daylight. Nd 64 are only usable during lowlight to soften lighttrails. Golden hours like evening or morning.
Awesome! Based on how you described I think my next video will be just perfect for you! Please stay tuned as there will be a lot of photography involved with ND128/1000 :)
the video was so good I had to rewatch it a 2nd time after it was over
That's the spirit! Really appreciate it 😀
You always keep amazing quality with really great content brother, you are almost doing the half the work for us, keep pumping out great stuff like this for a long time brother🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! Doing my best! Working on the next vid already, make sure to come back!
You know how to use camera! I bought s23 ultra and thanks for teaching us how to use ❤
Good stuff! Looks amazing this time of the year and the light and hue of CZ and SK cities seem to be matched to isocell sensor's color science even with auto white balance. Especially in photography. I will keep watching your content that's for sure. Keep up the good work and thank you :)
Thank you so much! To be honest, Prague is always beautiful any time of the year 😌
Amazing!
Calling the winner just on the basis of video is....... Amazing!
S23 ultra is more than a video machine. Much more.
😉
The amount of time and hard you put inro it sir, reflects in the video. I think you can shoot a short dilm in s23ultra😅. But please do the same video with samsung s23 or s23 plus to know alot better. And please tell me the settings in pro mode in samsung s23 or s23plus. And i think samsung must watch ur videos and make more suggestions.
Yes it took me a lot of time to film let alone to edit and structure all the footage, it was pretty intense haha
I have a whole Epic S23Ultra Series playlist in description that goes very in depth about the phone capabilities and it's cameras.
As for the S23 and S23+ or Flip phones, I'd really love to check them out eventually!
Maybe people over Samsung will watch it too one day who knows! :)
Thank you so much for the kind comment and support!
Great video. Appreciate your efforts... You got a new subscriber.
Awesome, thank you!
does it fit for s22 ultra?
I guess
of course
Good job man, you are very talented. Loved the video.
Thank you! 🙌🏼 And thanks for watching!
Iphone guys why are you crying 😂
amazing product, it's clearly for the pro users, but the outcome is awesome
Subscribed..that presentation was on point!

Hi Steven! just a quick answer about the motion blur!
@stevendivish informative explanation, tq.
How about using an additional Zoom lens on the 10x telephoto lens?
Will it enhance the zoom quality? 🤔
dude, this video is an eye opener. Amazing shots!
130€ for that tiny lens?!?!? Im pretty sure uncan get one much cheaper
jezzz one of the videos ever, on this topic
u make filming so much fun and tyvm for the settings u use
cinematic and 30fps in the same sentence...
It's not even in the same paragraph 🤣
The anamorphic lens is a cool idea, it reminded me of Moment lens. However, I don't think it's as good as I saw the distortion of the buildings, light poles, trees, etc. and also there was a light leek in the top left edge of the frame as well. Very interesting video bro.
Yes - the quality on the anamorphic lens looked terrible. Barrel distortion, light leak, diffusion, blur.
This was very educational, those shots look amazing. Samsung should feature you in their S24 Ultra launch event
Keren ini mash
Great Vid!
bro you unlocked the rawness of the camera. kudos
This is great. I've been seeking out ways to use filters on my S23U. Awesome video . Thanks - Where do you live?. Beautiful cities.
Finally some a case n filter for the samsung. I hopefully there will be more cases n filter and accessories and cases for other samsung devices
Wow!!! Love watching your work!!!❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Wow this is awesome! I was in Prague and Kutna Hora a few weeks ago and your shots made me miss those amazing places
Is there something to improve macro photos? I have to record small parts in movement. The phone is actually asesome but with those gadgets you get much better results. nice video, review and explanations
I'd like to see more about macro lenses too.
Prague is such a lovely city! Last year I was there two weeks to teach an animation storyboard seminar in Cesky Krumolov (did I spell that right?) I was in Prague just a few days but I spent so many happy hours walking around with my camera… what a beautiful place, I loved it there. I hope to go again!
Wow that's amazing! I have not yet been to Český Krumlov, but definitely want to visit some day!
Without lens.
- It seems true colours when it's not added to the lens. My s24 ultra makes great photos. I believe the photographer is responsible for the results, not totally dependent on the external lens.
Excellent Samsung sponsored ad. Keep up the great work with integrity.
Wow! I am in awe of the shots you can get with those filters.
Congratulations on the high quality work on this video.
I have a doubt that drying can help that this is where I can buy the filters for the lenses? I have the lenses and the ND filters, but you wanted the filters for the lenses like you have in the video... again congratulations on the content
perfect cinematography
Best channel I've came across on youtube explaining these settings and filters. Awesome! Just subbed to the channel.
Awesome, thank you!
Wow... Now I know why I can't take good videos with my S23U. I really liked the part where you mentioned that the speed should be 1/60 for capture real-life looking videos. I should get these filters. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
You're so cute. Great video and tips! Incredible images you captured! 😍
I'm literally getting way too excited for these products right now!
Thanks for the video! It was exactly what I was looking for. I'll binge all of your content rn
Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
I really ❤ this content and attracted how regulary you show camera property and attachments like this. Very well!
Good video with cool ideas. Thank you.
Btw: Do you have a recommendation for a handy smartphone gimbal that eliminates the unwanted movements which impacts the most: vertical bumps during a walk?
Thank you!
As for the gimbal, from what I've tested, insta360 Flow is pretty good, but it will also depend on the setup that you have.
Excellent video! And easy to follow.
2 questions: where to buy the filters and can they fit the galaxy s23 Ultra
Regards Oscar
I recommend use MC 24 fps pro to shooting anamorphic footage, because the stock camera has stabilization that cannot be disabled, you can also desqueeze the video in camera and record in 4:3 open gate to have more information for a final result of 2:35 aspect ratio with 1.55x lenses
I just had to subscribe 😢. This video brought a tear to my eyes it's so damn good lol 😂
Thank you!
哇!原來手機也可以這樣玩! 現在才知道真的是太遲了SUBSCRIBED❤!
I'm super new to photography. This was really helpful
