For high resolutions, samsung just updated their capture speed settings. I used them while I was taking "sport photography" at the game with fast pace and intense movement at 50mp. And "Faster capture" works really well and it still delivers a nice image. Faster post-processing didnt seem to gain that much quality over faster capture.
I came across this video and to see the night and day difference in 20 minutes of watching this video, pausing with setting changes and now my photos look 10x better with just setting changes. I'm not a photographer, but I own my own pizzeria and I want to be able to get great pictures of my staff, events and foods without breaking the bank! This I believe will be a game changer for me, so thank you Andres!
1 extra hour of battery and eliminating a few refresh bugs would've never kept me away from this monster, amazing to see the true interest of the newbies, there's so much control here but not just in the camera, we were definitely getting a discount from the note 4 to 10 plus, these Phones are undefeated and still underrated. The price is finally starting to catch up.
@@TheMrreese24 literally the best Night mode in all phones :D I have S22 but S23 ultra is a game changer in every aspect :D Like I was shocked even when I have s22 :D
I don't see how you figure that? Adding a forced 3 second shutter delay that makes it impossible to take most photos is counter intuitive to most people id think but not Samsung apparently 🤷🏼♂️The physical camera system is great. But what good is something when it's literally crippled out the gate. That'd be like making a car that had a delay of 30 secons or more when you wanna start it immediately. Every time! Sound awesome to u? Sure dosent to me.
Getting read for AK to shoot the Aurora Borealis...never paid much attention to my S23 Ultra Camera functions - but very helpful video for settings...need more practice but expect to be ready by next week!!! Thanks Andres
Picture softening is a must. I agree it is worded poorly in relation to what it does, but it actually helps to tone down overly processed sharpening in post that I immediately noticed when I switched to the s23 ultra. Considering this thing has a 200MP main, the processing is superfluous and I recommend the medium setting.
@MrRandomguyTom literally! It's crazy to think that a 1k+ phone is overcompensating so much with sharpness processing that destroys detail. The sensor is so much larger than the s10, yet Samsung feels the need to fake and brighten images. It drives me mad! I'm glad I could help, brother.
Can't remember the last time I've been excited genuinely knowing a video was going to release🎉 I haven't even watched it yet but I'm excited you put the effort into helping us all achieve pictures like the ones you take! The hard work is appreciated ❤
I went to the AT&T store to buy the latest Samsung S23U. What I got was an awesome camera, well worth the price of the phone. Good video, glad you are so happy with Android.
This video was amazing and filled with so many gems. I don't even have the '23 Ultra, I'm still clinging to my Galaxy Note '20 Ultra and the information in think video was relevant. Thank you!!
I really wish the stock app came with more settings instead of having to download 2 more apps to get the best out of the camera. Great video! It helped me out a lot being so frustrated with colors being to dark just using the stock app.
Nice video. Once I realized how good the quality of raw photos were in phones (looking just like a DSLR camera), I always try to remember to use that setting. To change my s9 plus 12mp lense raw photo from 17 MB file size to a 3 MB file size while retaining DLSR quality, just do something minor to the photo like minus or plus 1 on the brightness, saturation, shadows or Anything and you can then save it and it clearly retains the 17MB file size quality and is better than the standard 3.8 MB file size which is already processed for you and has a loss of image quality/clarity.
On your last video I complained about how you make awesome videos that make people want to buy the newest phone, and that's bad because my iphone 13 is pretty good. Well, I'm typing this comment from my S23 Ultra. ❤
Very nice video. I don't know if there is presets you can give to what you would like to shoot a car in. I guess I'm still looking for a direct answer. I've had the phone for over a year, love the cameras, but just wish I understood the photography part of it more.
Really loved this video, i just got the phone and been taking photos today that look way to saturated! Just one question, i cant actually see how to get camera assistant,
First, let me congratulate you on a great video, keep up the good work! I have a question about the video options. I am a DJ and I would like to record my performances with the s23 ultra, but I am not sure which options are best for such an environment. They are mostly darker spaces with a light show. I would hold the device on a tripod next to me. I'm also wondering if I should leave the 360 audio recording on? Thanks in advance 🖤
Thanks for sharing. I made some adjustments to my Samsung Ultra 23 per the video. So I'm hoping to learn more about how to take better pics with this phone. Again thanks so much❤
Amazing video! I'm nowhere near an expert when it comes to photography but your pictures look great! Do you have any online courses in which you teach composition/photography? I've always wanted to learn but seeing your work... Oh man, I wanna learn your techniques!
Really enjoyed the video, I am just about to get my hands on a S23 Ultra, this is great post purchase info thanks... Can you tell me please what is the desktop editing software you are using.....
when i'm shooting at 200MP on my S23 Ultra, at first i get nice and sharp image, but after it's done processing, the picture gets blurry mess! overall extremely frustrated at the camera performance for 1200$ crap!
thank you. you really made me understand my phone so much better. I am a beginner at taking pictures, but I will check your channel more often now. thanks.
Hey Andres, could you create a video in which you show us your workflow when creating content? What I meant was from the moment you shoot using S23 Ultra, transferring files to computer, software to use for color grading, export process to publishing. It would help us better understnad whats happening behind the scenes. What hardwares and softwares you recommend as well.
Is there an option to turn off auto procesing in expert raw? When I take a photo it looks great, then 0.5 sec later auto processing kicks in and blows out colors.
have this phone.... the hardware is capable to do much better, but the stock camera app is very lacky of functions, like exposure bracketing in 50 mp, or noise bracketing, all these in pro mode for raw exports

honestly I completely agree... In terms of the camera, im just amazed at the fact that I dont necessarily need to bring my camera with me lol.
