Yes, they only put a 1 heaping tablespoon of garlic butter in the rice for a party of 10.and charge $2
00 extra per spoonful or $5.00 for a small container if you want more flavor and we all felt ripped off!!!

This is total ASMR for me. Never realized these guys have emotions and get nervous just like me. They're pretty badass to do this job. Respect to all those who do this.
Agree! I can never do that they're doing. So much respect.
karen got him all shakey about the volcano.
such a karen
@@RandomPsychic lol
Lmao I'll tell my friend she's a Karen
You blew it when you asked if he would do the onion volcano. He was nervous after that because he knew you'd seen the act before.

Totally agreed. What a stupid cliche to play.
Congratulate the chef here for skill, perseverance, and heart.
So much yes to this! 🙌 I'm surprised with all the negativity in the comments
Everythinh looks amazing! I'm allergic to shellfish but I would sit and watch him prepare it. Those darn onions refused to cooperate. He handled their disobedience masterfully.
Yeah, the show itself is worth the meal, and you can skip the shellfish. There's chicken and steak too. Lots of options. Yeah, and he admitted he got nervous because I was taking a video. But he handled it so well. If you watch the 2nd video on our re-visit, he owned it!
I've eaten here probably over 50 times and I still sat here and watched this video for 18 minutes of my life 😂
I don't blame you! 😂 It's so good and the show is so entertaining! Have you seen part 2?
Respect at the 8:00 mark. #1 food quality #2 Showmanship. Guy took care of business first and ditched the show.
🙌🙌🙌
Anxiety. I am a hibachi chef myself, i deal with what this chef deals with, new tricks kill me, but i want something new all the time, my hands shake like they are not mine, my heart beats like crazy, cant control myself anymore and I know they see it, which brings me more stress... leaving me no choice but hoping i can get over with it soon. .. I learned something... I do this coz I can! and no one else! and I do this just because I can!
I really agree on what you say here!! I'm don't know why there's so much negative comments! The chef did tell me he got nervous especially when seeing that I was filming too.
I respect what you do..... I noticed 3 Shakers for the rice.....Salt, Pepper & Sugar???? Is that the Recipe?? Thanks in Advance.....
j jones sesame seeds are third shaker 👍
kairat kert hey I am a hibachi chef myself an the best way to deal with anxiety doing new tricks is actually not caring at all about the mistake. Just practice a few times in the back kitchen. Get comfortable doing it like it’s a no brainer. When u get a table don’t think, just do it. You will get satisfaction just attempting it . And if you do it perfect the first time then it’s a bonus. Every time I mess up and we all do, just play it off and say Japanese mistake or come back tomorrow and move on from it. Remember our job is 90 percent feeling and 10 percent thinking. 5 percent of thinking is how to cook each table order and the other 5 is how to keep the customers comfortable when it get extremely quiet. Remember go with the flow. Feel fluid and remember if you are comfortable so will your guests. Hope this helps you. Took me few years o understand this perspective and even doing this for 10 years I get nervous sometimes too.
Yes we can!
I'm sure he was nervous with the camera
Yes, actually he did tell us after that the camera made him nervous
You could tell how fucking shaky he was when he tried making the onion volcano
next time, don't use camera. jk
yeah, draw pictures and post it here so we can watch...
I would be too.. lol.. totally understood with the onion tower lol
That has to be the best looking meal I have ever seen prepared. Not to mention that is a ton of quality food! No fillers here!
totally agree 💯
Teppanyaki in Tokyo: "that'll be $500"
Teppanyaki in North Merica: "Are you gonna do the Onion Volcano?"
You can find Teppanyaki in Tokyo for far less than that in price, like under US$100
Lmao
😂😂😂 ngl, I think Tokyo would even be cheaper.
Awesome! And in Toronto!
He did a great job! :)
I liked the fried riced bowl flip that was Impressive.....................
cool right? Such a great show
Debashish Avasia
Seriously?
It's pretty standard....nowaday it seems that any Asian guy out of work can be a Hibachi Chef.
Back in the day (late '70s) when I went the first times as a kid to a Teppanyaki, it was in Hartford CONN if I recon, this style was not at all common and the performers were real japanese artists with decades of training...I remember them doing crazy tricks with knives and flames, manipulating eggs (still in the shell) with those paddles like crazy without braking them, the shrimp for instance would be cut, cleaned and flung directly (perfectly) in each customers plate.
And each time was different.
Now it's about 10-12 years that most do the same routine and some can't even do that (like this guy).
Love the knife skills and showmanship. Absolutely love it. And of course the food.
so fun to watch the chef cook such a delicious meal!
What a skillful master, and so graceful! The onion volcano is wonderful too... But even the greatest have their bad days.
Totally agree! I was very surprised with a lot of the negative comments on here
That meal looked sooo good !!
It was!!!
My dude showed that volcano who’s the boss!
I'm getting me some Benihana's Saturday i can't wait
I'm jealous! Enjoy!!!
😍😃 INCREDIBLE, LEFT/RIGHT POCKET.
so yummy! Have you tried?
Wow amazing 😍😍😍
If you ever go to Benihana or a similar kind of place, always get the fried rice. It's the best part of the meal because of all that garlic butter they put in there. God it's wonderful.
agree
FACTS!!!
This is really satisfying to watch!
you're totally right! love these kinds of teppanyaki dining
Cheff of respect, high level of quality.

This chef is awesome and a total bada.s. Even though he was nervous he made the best of it, did the trick and continued to cook an excellent meal. If this had been me, I would have ran away crying and never showed up to work there again.
Totally agree! The chef did a great job, and he did admit he was very nervous because I was taking video. We went back another time and he was our chef again. He wasn't nervous anymore and it was perfect. Watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/2cKPMWSh--k/v-deo.html

Master chefs.
He has done it very Well!!!
agree! there were some mistakes but overall well done!
my man a hero because he is might be facing one of his fears showing his techniques while being recorded
i give him my respect
yeah, he admitted he got nervous because I was filming
Pretty sure most haters commenting don't even have jobs. Even though this chef wasn't "the" best, he did a good job, aside from what looks like overcooked shrimps. And how many restaurants you go to where the chef cooks in front of you? Oh Oh I know, Mcdonald's, I can see teenagers in the back prepping some premade burgers and frozen fries.
I'm very surprised with the negativity as well in the comments. It's so easy to hate on the web nowadays, unfortunately.
i have a job. am i now allowed to voice the opinion that this guy sucks? thx rulemaker.
how do prep a premade burger frozen fries //. open the bag?
He overcooked the shrimps, he overcooked the lobster, he overcooked the meet, he overcooked the veggies, everything tastes like garlic butter... Apart from that he made a pretty good job, lol.
@@trollenz meat* by the way was medium well. Maybe that's how they wanted it
Браво,Маестро !!!!
c'est vraiment cool ce genre de restaurant je vais essayer sa un jour
This chef has a little nervous just because he opposites the camera, it doesn't like people think that this chef is bad ^^
Exactly! He even told us that after!
^^
Same feeling
Lam Tran là sao ông.. thấy tay ổng run lúc xếp cái gì lên mà cứ rớt xuống hoài
No. This us an excellent chef. But he does have some tremors. Possibly a medical thing. I am going through this a bit too.
The chef gave his best!! That what matters..
True👌
agree! So much negativity in the comments
La verdad que muy bueno ...
I haven't seen such shaking hands at the chef in a long time !!! He could make at confectioners and sprinkle sugar products. :)
He said he was nervous coz we were filming. what do you think?
Even tho he fucked up the onion volcano. He still held his own and kept the show going. If it wasnt for his improvisation skills he wouldn't of made it. Great chef. Just need MORE experience.
He admitted he was nervous coz I was taking a vid. We went back again where he served us again and it was perfect. Did u see that vid yet? I posted it too.
Under pressure I think he did a good job food looks really tasty, when you're being filmed it's always going to be hard
Totally agree! The chef did admit he got nervous because I was taking video. Watch the 2nd time we went and he did perfectly: ua-cam.com/video/2cKPMWSh--k/v-deo.html
I must say that it looks verrrrrry tasty and I enjoyed the video
It's quite yummy! You should try them. Great way to have entertainment and food together.

У меня руки точно также трясутся на утро,после бухича🤣🤣🤣
I can imagine there's a lot of pressure being on a Hibachi chef like that doing all kinds of tricks in front of strangers. Plus the fact that a camera is shoved in your face. That would make anybody nervous
Believe me it does make u nervous!!! I work for Kabutos Japanese steak house…I’m a hibachi chef👍😅

Hello queen
keep in mind this guy is a "cook" and is doing this stuff to make the cooking more enjoyable for you while waiting, i bet the food is still gonna taste delicious even if he doesnt get trick done perfectly everytime, performance isnt the reason i would go to such a place :3 i felt this needed to be said

The way he cooks is really interesting. I hope those guys who ordered it,will be enjoyed the food.
We did enjoy it! Thank you!
