I'm not normally a big diesel lifted truck type of guy. I'm just a normal truck guy maybe with a 2-in lift... But this thing is gorgeous and badass looking at the same time... If I was rich I would have one in my driveway.. well done.

So hear me out, you don't want a large vehicle when overlanding.
A larger rig means higher fuel requirements and more difficulty in smaller routes. It's also harder to recover if stuck.
If you ask me, a 6.5ft bed 1/2 ton pickup. Is the perfect level of size to performance for long range. Just get a camper on the back and roof mout some supplies. Can fill half the bed on one side with all kinds of stuff. Or get a load floor to store stuff under a comfy sleep area. You can also go with the fold out roof mount tent. And just use the bed as normal load space.
Now if you're just out for the trail and back. You can do what ever you want. Or for really hard off road stuff. Get an old jeep with front locker and build it up.

With this truck, your VERY VERY remote places would be quite difficult to get to because of its size BUT since this truck is so big and could EASILY carry my Northern Lite Full Size Winterized camper, I can also carry a high-end super-long-range off-road motorbike that can carry over 600 lbs of rider and fishing/camping gear for my DEEP BACKROAD forays into new territory. I could park and lock the truck up on a forest service road cul-de-sac/hidden parking spot and THEN go into the TRUE backcountry parts on my 4x4 bike do the fishing/camping expeditions if my truck doesn't fit!

This truck only has a 2" lift @ normal ride height. Suspension Height was kept as low as possible to maintain an excellent CG and driving characteristics.

I know lots of places where a truck this size would make it to base-camp, and if the weather turned really nasty, this truck would be the only
one to make it back to the highway. This truck has a specific-purpose, to take people far from the city who are accustomed to a cushy
life-style, and who don't appreciate old rusty things. You would have to consider what you would do if you broke down while off the
highway. You would likely need an expensive off-road camper-trailer to truly appreciate what all this truck has to offer. Being up high like that would be nice if a Corvette hit you at 100 mph.

Hey guys. Just watched a video from "Automotive Inquiries" regarding a trademark violation y'all filed with UA-cam. Can anyone at TFL explain to me what the exact violation was and why you guys are going after another UA-cam channel? The guy did a comparison of the Ford 7.3L vs. the Chevy 6.6L, both with the 10-speed trannys on the Ike Gauntlet. But he did a much longer trip with both starting in eastern Colorado. Just wondering what the problem is. Both of your channels do a great job and provide consumers with good information on trucks prior to purchase. A bunch of people on his channel said they unsubscribed from TFL due to this, but before I do anything like that, I'd like to hear your side of the issue. Thanks in advance for your response.

The shock replaces the spring wonder how much abuse the mounting locations can take. Usually, the shock mounts are not designed to handle entire weight of the truck.

I would love to see this towing!! Maybe even some photos or short inserts of one with a serious slide in truck camper on it. These will likely accommodate the triple slide truck campers that become really luxurious! Of course all in on a set up like that is gonna be close to $500,000 Canadian!! If not more. 😮. You get what you pat for in that case. It’s a home on wheels that can be converted to a serious hauler of other goods, just drop the camper and go! Even with the camper there will be enough payload to to a serious boat, pontoon, whatever,,,,, trailer full of quads or a couple or 3 SxSs. It’s a significant workhorse at this level of truck. With the awesome turning radius, you can use this as an ultimate ranch truck too!! I like this product and usually I’m kinda cheap, it’s just the closest to do anything truck you will find!!

Ive seen this done to a Ford F650 AND Ford F750 Medium Duty truck where I live in Western Canada! So YES it can be done! Pull out your checkbook and write a few extra ZERO's after the first number! These guys can EASILY do F650 and F750 trucks if you give them enough money!
I'd put the 44 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T tires on them with Full Size Liquid Springs and a BIG four-season winterized camper in the back bed and you are now set for super-heavy-duty all-season camping or truly off-grid living!

Put a BIG slide in camper on it and take it off road, you did a show on the trucks breaking in half form over payload. This is the proper truck to carry a Host or Eagle camper and tow a boat or toy trailer then do the gauntlet.
