In my opinion, Greninja is basically Ash's most broken Pokemon since he was so strong that the Pokemon Company had to come up with a reason to remove him from the anime because if he were taken to any other region he would basically be the MVP regardless of the conditions of battle
@@Pokiiii62 Did you also Forgot that Lycanroc lost to Bravery? And That the Darkery was actually Op, cause he used only Darkery to Beat every one in the League And no, Septile is not the Fastest, Red mega evolve charizard Beat Mewtwo, Mewtwo had an intense serious battle with Deoxys, And Red Charizard is easily inexperienced then Alain's charizard, who Ash almost beat, Not only that but in a 3D movie of mewtwo was able to Move all clouds above the Ocean with just a Wave of his Hand, and mewtow was doing this while moving a Big azz ship he was ridin with his powers from flexing his hand alone
@@Pokiiii62 yea, but I think it's reasonable to assume they were decently strong. Their teams had to be strong enough to beat the 8 gym leaders, and Darkrai still won a 1v6 against all of them. (Also I feel like the show implies that it's Darkrai thats really strong, rather than the rest of the trainers being weak)
@BenSchneider181 Despite that, it's nowhere near the level of the one in the movie, and sceptile never shown legendary level battle prowess before that point either so it even adds up
@@Pokiiii62 There's a scene where BArry or someone says he also ran thru the gym with just the Darkrai as well, I don't think you can say he could be as weak a gowlithe with that in mind.
I personally think an underrated honorable mention is Gliscor in sinnoh. Drapion ran a gauntlet on Buizel Staraptor and Torterra without taking really that much damage, and Gliscor was the one to mainly defeat him. Torterra got the best feats but Gliscor COULD be higher than him thru this scaling chain
The thing about that battle with Drapion is that it's the only major feat Ash's Gliscor has. It's only other noteworthy victory was against Byron's Bastiodon, which isn't on quite the same level; apart from those wins, Gliscor was not very strong -- it was even a plot point that it got left with the Air Battle Master to train specifically because it needed the extra work to become stronger. Other than that, I feel the main thing that Gliscor was known for was having a silly and goofy personality, it was never much of a battler, and apart from maybe Gible, all of Ash's Pokemon he caught in Sinnoh were for the most part all quite strong in their own rights, and Torterra aside, they each got their moments to shine in battles during the Sinnoh League
@@Pokiiii62 Your proof is basically: Lycanroc fought Tapu Bulu. Tapu Bulu is strong because Zygarde said so. I think that's a bit of a stretch when Tapu Bulu wasn't really defeated. Unlike Charizard who did beat a legendary, Lycanroc's feat is not really that rare compared to other aces.
@@zulueta1250exactly this guy is ridiculous 🤣 all lycanron did was land ONE stone edge (didn’t even scratch it) and boom. he’s on par with tapu bully and can defeat ultra beats
List was amazing it made sense. For sceptile idk if it was canon but sceptile was actually chasing down a speed form deoxys, I think he actually tagged the deoxys too.
@@Pokiiii62there is literally one deoxys in this universe and even we followed the same logic it would still bring sceptile up from battling 3 legendary at least way better then lycannroc
I feel like calling Tobias's Darkrai "Featless" is a bit of an exaggeration considering that it solo'd 3 of ash's previous pokemon, and was the only pokemon Tobias has used in the league until that fight (Which bare minimum puts him above all 8 gym leaders)
Not hearing too many powerscaling terms is still gonna feel weird to me. But i get it man. Gotta grow. Cant do it with complicated terms. I still love the vid. This will do numbers
If I had to be honest on who Ash's Johto Ace would be, I'd have to give it to Heracross. It's battle against Scizor & Magmar were amazing!!!!!! Moreover since it was around the time of Generation 2, if only Ash had kept Heracross on his team at the time as maybe it could've helped & be The Ace to take down Whitney's Miltank as it was the only Fighting type that Ash had at the time
Your Sceptile reasoning is so flawed. •Tobias Darkrai is very strong, it’s canonically known and stated for soloing the entire League up until it fought Sceptile. That includes every trainer battle, gym battle, and league battle until Sceptile. Tobias has had his Darkrai for at least since before he started his Sinnoh gym challenge. Is that not enough to say Darkrai is extremely strong? Seems ridiculous to even compare it to a Growlithe. •Also if we’re talking about feats, Ash’s Sceptile canonically caught up, matched, and subdued a wild speed form Deoxys. Speed form Deoxys is easily top 2 fastest Pokémon of all time regardless of if there’s more than 1 in existence. That alone shows how well trained and strong Ash’s Sceptile is. •And let’s not forget about Sceptile’s overgrow ability, it literally the grass type version of Infernape’s blaze. Sceptile was shown to have full mastery of its ability since it debuted. •Sceptile also has more experience than most of the Pokémon on this list. It fought in the Hoenn league, Kanto’s battle frontier, and the Sinnoh league. Taking all of this into account Sceptile should be above Infernape and Lycanroc off of feats and accomplishments alone. Side note: Lycanroc never beat an island guardian. If you rewatch the episodes where they fight, Tapu Bulu only calls off the fight after Lycanroc learns to stop going berserk after messing up its fur. It was only training Lycanroc, not seriously fighting it.
Another side note: Would’ve loved if you counted the Orange Islands as their separate category since it is its own league apart from the Indigo league. Ash also caught Pokémon during that league that he didn’t have during the indigo league like Snorlax and Lapras. I’m only saying this because Heracross is very strong and I think it deserves a spot just as much as Snorlax and Charizard.
I think Lycanroc should be lower than Sceptile, I would put Charizard below Sceptile for one reason: I call it the Torkoal situation. See, Charizard got taken down by Brandon's Dusclops, while Torkoal basically lost to Registeel because of Lock On & Zap Cannon, and the turtle mostly used Body Slam to deal damage. Torkoal's Flamethrower got overpowered to get one shot, meaning Darkrai is stronger than Brandon's Registeel, meaning it's stronger than one of the Regis. Now I'm not saying Charizard is weaker than Torkoal, as Infernape is on par with Charizard after beating Torkoal. So Charizard is confirmed to be stronger than Torkoal, but people forget Charizard's Legendary win is against something he has the direct type advantage against.
Fun fact, we didn't, so those fight, so for all we know, those trainers could've been much weaker than ash Secondly, where the heck are you getting that deoxys is 2nd fastest Pokémon? - nothing states that within both the anime and the manga 💀 And no experience doesn't automatically make a Pokémon more powerful. It's simply a statistic that could decide a battle if both opponents are equal, then it would come down to the more minute statistics Lastly, lycanroc, even being relative to tapu bulu, is still impressive enough considering tapu bulu survived against solgaleo/lunala, who fought ultra necrozma one of the strongest beings in the verse Please study your manga and Anime feats I highly recommend that!
@@Pokiiii62 •Darkrai is still the only pokemon Tobias used his entire Sinnoh run until Sceptile took it down. You can’t discredit Darkrai for beating all Sinnoh gym leaders alone, something Infernape didn’t accomplish. •Deoxys speed form was the fastest pokemon in existence until gen 8 when Regieleki was introduced. Its base stats have been out since 2002. The games also count as a source of reference since Ash Greninja and Ash’s Pikachu and all of Ash’s Journeys team are in that canon as well. •Experience does count when ranking overall strength, it’s literally used as a statistic in your rankings when you take into account legendary and pseudo-legends some of Ash’s pokemon have fought and won. Literally battle experience. •You saying Lycanroc is relative to Tapu Bulu over a training match is like saying Ash’s Torcoal is relative to Tobias’s Darkrai or Brandon’s Regi trio. Just because it was in a battle/ match doesn’t mean it’s relative, especially if it didn’t even win. And no need to be passive aggressive, I’m just bringing up counter points to your logic. I highly recommend you reconsider, no shame in being wrong.
@@PURPLE_G0J0first and foremost I'm not being passive aggressive, and I feel like your the one who needs to acknowledge your mistakes. First and foremost stats doesn't equate to how strong a pokemon is. By YOUR logic that would make mega rayquaza stronger than arceus just cause it has a higher base stat total, the stats are purely for gameplay sake and if you think I'm wrong then your basically saying the God of the verse is weaker than it's creations 💀
No one else in the Sinnoh tournament was able to defeat Darkrai, so of course it’s really strong and sceptile being able to defeat it is very impressive. Granted we don’t know how much Heracross really did to Darkrai but it always seemed like Sceptile dealt the major blow. Lycanroc is probably the only placement I really disagree with tho, it doesn’t truly matter if lycanroc battled tape bulu if he didn’t win. I think all of the Pokémon on this list could fight tapu bulu for how long lycanroc did and not get knocked out, plus lycanroc’s defeat over gladion’s lycanroc is not nearly as impressive as the other feats on this list. Hell, I would even argue that Melmetal, Nagandel, and probably inceneroar are stronger
It's always interesting to me that Greninja in base form literally had Lucario dog walked, and a couple of the hits weren't even moves, so I imagine Greninja would've been able to solo most of the masters 8, excluding MAYBE leons Charizard
nah even leon's zard gets dog walked greninja while not even trying in just base form is so fast that he's invisible and one water shuriken from him can destroy a horde of vines that lucario and PIKACHU'S attacks did nothing to, it took lucario mega evolution and a full power giant aura sphere that he got from greninja's training just to destroy the vines, and that giant aura sphere one episode later one shots gmax duraludon who can clash with gmax zard, so yeah imagine current greninja trying and going full power in ash greninja form, leon's team gets deleted from existence💀
Lyconrock above charizard is hard for me I can’t see it mainly cause lyconrock didn’t have a lot of feats and lyconrock landed what two hits and then as soon as the topo got serious it got neged
That doesn't surprise me, personally. The starter Pokemon are consistently shown to be some of the more powerful Pokemon in the anime, with the former world champion, Leon, not only having a starter as his ace in Charizard, but he also owned all 3 Galar starters as well, and they're all most likely able to Gigantamax (Inteleon is the only one that never was shown doing so). Speaking of Leon, his Rillaboom was also shown to be crazily powerful, most likely his second strongest after Charizard, most notably taking out most of Diantha's team by itself offscreen
My biggest feat for sceptile is he’s 2-1 vs legendaries. And 2 were back to back. And the one that wasn’t. Was god damn Deoxys: the sakuna to rayquazas gojo. And he blitz’d the speed form! The Mon that’s held the highest speed stat for FIVE GENERATIONS. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised that if ash were to mega his sceptile, it would be able to put work in the same situation Alain and Steven found themselves vs the weather trio. W/ that I’d happily put his ass over infernape. The massive hole in ur video, is infernape was backed up by Gary’s blastoise, and both got 1 tapped by Moltres. Also lycanrock over zard is crazy. Lycan didn’t even beat the tapu bulu and you could tell it was a sparring match. Only pikachu scales to the tapus, because koko actually pulled up on pikachu. Not the other way around. How was that fight not seen as a training arc. Some honorable mentions for ace mons are Tauros: 1v1’d a metagross of a battle frontier to a draw. That’s more work than Torkoal infamously got bodied by registeel: a steel type w/ a lower bst than metagross too mind u. Incineroar: the Mon I wanted to see most of in masters 8. Hardest mega metagross counter possible vs Steven. Melmetal, naga, woulda been so good vs Leon.
I know this video is 8 months old at the time im writing this but i wanted to make my own lists so here's my ranking of the aces 8.lycanroc:i disagree with the tapu bulu scaling for the following reasons 1. Tapu bulu only trained lycanroc it wasn't an actual fight 2. Lycanroc didn't do anything against tapu bulu to make him anywhere near as strong as tapu bulu 3. The tapu bulu from the anime isn't the same from the manga or the game other than that his best feat would be holding it's own against kukui's incineroar 7.krookodile:his best feat would be defeating iris's dragonite but other than that he didn't do much else that's as good but that's a notable feat nonetheless 6.Infernape:his bets feat would be against volkner and moltres and his Blaze ability is extremely strong but also risky since infernape has to be in bad shape to activate the ability 5.snorlax:he is definitely a powerhouse defeating multiple frontier pokemon which would put him at/close to E4 levels of strength but the pokemon higher on the list are just stronger 4.Sceptile:not only beat multiple frontier pokemon but also beat a darkrai that soloed the league including the gym leaders like volkner without losing and his speed is absolutely insane as he outspeed deoxys speed form 3.charizard also beat frontier pokemons and even an articuno and charizard got even stronger after that point 2.greninja:he is a strong being able to put up a fight against multiple champion level pokemon 1.lucario: this might be controversial but im putting lucario above greninja, while greninja did beat lucario he didn't use his mega evolution or the giant aura sphere in the fight but also lucario got much stronger afterwards being able to one shot raihans duraludon who is arguably stronger than alain's charizard and he even beat Cynthia's togekiss and garchomp back to back im sure if both lucario and greninja had a rematch lucario would have a high chance of beating greninja Well did i cook or burnt the kitchen let me know by liking or commenting
I still believe Sceotile is superior to Infernape. We know for the fact that Tobias got all of his badges with just Darkrai. That would mean Tobias 1v3 Volkner [assuming Volkner used the same rules he used with Ash]. Volkner should be at the very least be high elite four level given he was able to particularly oneshot the Torterra that was relative to Palmer's Rhyperior. Even Infernape had difficulty facing up against his Luxray, and I dont think DP Infernape czn beat Luxray in Base. And Sceptile particularly oneshoted the nearly full health Darkrai with Leaf Blade, without even Overgrowth. Great Video Though
Thanks for your compliments, and I definitely see where you're coming from. The only problem with that is the fact that we just don't know how the fight went. We can't just assume he passed it with flying colors since we just didn't get to see, but again I definitely see where your coming from friend great analysis
4:32 I think every Pikachu should considered to be capable of this power. Due to the fact that Pikachu at the start of his journey, was incredibly weak and had nothing visually unique to other Pikachu. Pokemon is a species that sees what it learns and progressively get stronger from that. This should even apply to Tobias' darkrai since it's genetically capable and part of it's species, and still considered a mythical Pokemon. Also, im pretty sure ash's sceptile caught SPEED FORM DEOXYS, and damaged it terribly with a single solar beam.
Cool list for the most part. 1. Greninja debatable but fine. Especially with his showing against Lucario. 2. Charizard especially after each season he’s definitely stronger than before 3. Infernape his Blaze is a big boost and similar to other Pokemon. 4. Sceptile with his performance against Blaziken, Deoxy, and Darkrai. Remind you Darkrai soloed whom teams before going against Ash. He was legendary level of power there’s no debate about that. 5. Lucario especially with his mega beating Garchomp and other Pokemon in G-max. That’s top 5 not including Pikachu.
How the fuck Lycanroc is stronger, than Sceptile, Charizard and Infernape if his biggest feat is beating Gladion's Lycanroc and then he got mopped on the floor by Kukui's Braviary? Infernape, Charizard and Sceptile all defeated E4/Champion lvl opponents, while Lycanroc's biggest feat u beating an average Laeague lvl opponent
I said his biggest feat was fighting a deity that fought solgaleo and lunala and survived, and to put into perspective, those two mons fought against a being who consumed universes for breakfast so yes I do think that 💀
@@Pokiiii62 1.They fought in tandem, not all individually 2. It was a game lore, not anime lore. Anime =/= games 3. If that's the case, why Lycanroc didn't one shotted every opponent after? What, Gladion's Lycanroc > Tapu Bulu

@Pokiiii62 yeah, they're different worlds, where A=/= B. They have different lvls. They're working by different rules. I think you just can't into a powerscale
You literally telling me with the straight face, that Ash's Lycanroc, who lost to Braviary, who himself got one shotted by a random Team Rocket officer is Ash's third strongest ace and to a fucking Rowlet is Ash's 3rd strongest ace and stronger, than Charizard, that defeated Articuno, Sceptile, that defeated Champion tier Darkrai and Infernape, who's according to JN I equal to them.
Tobias Darkrai never lost once until Ash's Septile and Darkrai was also recovering after every fight so yeah you're wrong and Septile should be higher.
4:15 didn’t darkrai essentially solo the entire sinnoh league uptil ash? What more bigger feat do u need? The bigger question is IS THAT EVEN TOBIAS’ ace. That also implies he scales over the random heatran in the lobby
Bro ash would be unstoppable if he just made a team of all of his aces. Charizard, sceptile, infernape, greninja, mega lucario, pikachu. Doubling down on the fire and fighting but it’s a reasonably balanced team with water grass and electric support.
Also you forgot to mention that we only saw 1 Dusk Form Lycanroc which that is Ash and an extra bonus Dusk Form Lycanroc is the first Ace pokemon to make Ash the Champion of Alola region
I love how you say Alian's Charizard is so powerful and yet gets literally curb stomped by Leon's base form Charizard. Still, agree that Greninja is Ash's biggest hitter. That being said, I think you are underselling Septile in that the Darkrai soloed the entire league so that's an enormous feat.
Idk if I'm correct but sceptile fought a darkcry trainer who defeat all gym leaders with just his darkcry and won all league rounds except ash with just darkcry. He owned a Latias which is a strong pokemon he had to battle it and guessing with knowledge above probably used darkcry. So I think it belongs I'm higher ranking
Tobias has a strong darkirye because he states that he hasn’t had to switch his Pokémon in a while, it shows that his darkirye hasn’t been beaten in a wile
4:22 We actually do know, it’s insanely strong! According to what we were told, Ash is the only person in the Sinnoh League to force Tobias to send out a Pokémon that wasn’t Darkrai. That means even the quarter-finalist or the other finalist that Tobias faced in *full battles* couldn’t even get past Darkrai alone!
That doesn't tell us how strong the darkrai is. For all we know, his opponents could've been significantly weaker than ash himself, what kinda logic is that 💀
@@Pokiiii62 How about this since this is my last reasoning: Torkoal and Pikachu can be reference points. I know those sound like stupid references to make, but hear me out, because Pikachu took out Latios here, and Torkoal is normally not given the credit he's deserves because Torkoal did almost beat Brandon's Registeel, when he didn't even use any of the Regis to take down Charizard, and he used the three Regis to sweep Paul! Torkoal's Flamethrower got easily powered through by one of Darkrai's Dark Pulse attacks, which one shot Torkoal (who as I mentioned, almost beat a Registeel owned by someone Frontier Brain/Elite Four Level), meaning Tobias' team is most likely stronger than Brandon's, and therefore Paul as a result. Next, Pikachu who due to Regice using Rest, essentially *two shot Regice*, had only managed to tie Latios, Ash's Ace could only force a tie with his second Pokemon. Finally, Sceptile due to Dream Eater healing damage, possibly *one shot it,* when Pikachu had to give Latios a lot of Thunderbolts just to take it down.
@@Pokiiii62 You have a fair point, but at the same time-this is a legendary, and they are ubiquitously powerful. We don't explicitly know how strong Nolan's Articuno is either, but the fact remains that bro has a freaking Articuno like it's a regular bird. There's also Sceptile's feat wherein he nearly defeated Regirock and would have won if not for Ash being possessed and therefore rendered incapable of issuing proper commands
@_Koyomi_ The difference is that we've seen legendaries and mythicals lose to average Pokémon, the "legendary status" doesn't mean much when Pokémon like noivern practically beat a zapdos right after evolving as if he had any battle experience 💀 we've been shown that the "legendary status" is purely for how rare the Pokémon actually are, the only legendaries that are unaffected by this is the creation trio since they have obvious feats that are above everyone else since they created the fricking multiverse 😭
@@Pokiiii62 Noivern landed one hit with Boomburst before Team Rocket came and ensnared Zapdos 💀. The moment he was freed, he was visibly all right and could have kept battling. Besides, he tied with Alain's Salamence, who damn sure isn't on Zapdos' level. The status of legendary indicates rarity as well as an echelon of power beyond what most normal Pokemon can achieve. That's why it's so impressive for a non-legendary to defeat one i.e. Pikachu vs Latios
Swellow and Incineroar were done dirty here. Incineroar was a Torracat all throughout Alola and only has one battle as an Incineroar so it's understandable. But Swellow was the one putting in the work during Hoenn because Sceptile was still a Grovyle at that time and evolved during Battle Frontier.
I agree that ash’s jojo ace it charizard because it’s like its arc spans 3 adventures kanto it was used but not an ace then orange isles made it listen but johto it won him the first and last badge as well as its league performance
If you weren't going to say it, I will. I will personally say that no matter what, Infernape has to be next to Charizard in any ranking of strength since Prof. Oak said Infernape battled Charizard, and while the outcome wasn't revealed, it at least proved that Infernape is an equal to Charizard in power.
Actually, Oak stated that Infernape sparred with all of Ash's other Fire types, not just Charizard. For all we know, Quilava could have been putting in crazy work He is the goat though ngl. He's easily top 4
@@_Koyomi_Oak also stated that Infernapw grew bored of fighting charizard and went out to seek a challenge in the form of Moltres. That indirectly hints that Infernape has surpassed charizard
Aggron isn’t a pseudo legendary, it’s just a dope Pokémon, and I’d argue Charizard over Lycanroc due to his vast number of matches and if we include movies, Charizard was going to blow for blow with Entei for awhile
I feel like infernape and Charizard are stronger than Lykinrock as just fighting a legendary Pokemon doesn't mean that much, you have to beat it to be labelled as strong
Bro lost all credibility when he said “we don’t know how strong Tobias’s darkrai is” It soloed the entire sinnoh league except for sceptile, it one shot 3 of ash’s Pokemon (including heracross and torkoal, who nearly beat a registeel in the battle frontier), and you also ignored sceptile outspeeding deoxys speed. Also, chimchar getting one shot by Cynthia’s garchomp is not a feat. Just because you were sent out against a strong Pokémon doesn’t mean anything if you get one shot. It’s only a feat if you atleast can hold your own for a bit. Sceptile > infernape. Infernape isn’t on the same tier as legendaries.
So what? - all we know is that the darkrai fought Pokémon that were severely weaker than ash's sceptile, that tells us nothing on how strong the darkrai is 😭, especially since the deoxys feat means nothing since it's under the same issue 💀
There are a lot more oversights you made on this ranking, but I don’t wanna write a chapter book in the comments. But yeah, you have a lot of flawed logic. Do more research next time.
So we don’t know how strong any legendary is then. How can you use entei and articuno as feats for charizard then? We don’t know how strong they are either. We saw WAY more of darkrai
Oh and I’ll throw in one more example of your terrible logic. You said Alains mega charizard is stronger than all of ash’s aces except greninja? Okay well it got annihilated by Leon’s charizard without gigantimax. Raihans duraludon did way better against Leon’s charizard (with gigantimax btw) than Alain’s mega charizard. And that same duraludon got lost to ash’s lucario without mega evolution. So how is lucario not stronger than Alaina mega charizard? That’s a pretty clear oversight from you, little bro
I understand completely. It hurts having infernape and charizard as low as they were because I genuinely don't like lycanroc that much, but I don't have a choice, sadly
4:30 dude they literally confirmed Sceptile the ONLY, let me say it again, ONLY pokemon to defeat darkrai EVER… but i still agree that hes below the others
Charizard should be above Lycanroc since Lycanroc only battled against Tapu Bullu in just a sparring match whereas Charizard took down an Articuno. Infernape should also be rank above it's the only Pokemon we see in the show that keeps getting stronger. When Ash visited his home, he came to know Infernape was fighting against all fire types and even battled Moltres.
@@Pokiiii62 I’ll start with the fact that Ash’s Infernape was 1v1ing all the fire types that ash had and worked his way up. With that you can easily infer that he was beating each one and looking for stronger opponents, and after he fought Charizard he went to go after Moltres, why would he go and try to fight Moltres if he lost to Charizard? On top of that he likely wasn’t even pushed to his full potential (blaze) which we’ve seen and heard is more powerful than other Pokémon’s blaze abilities. Although Lucario and Lycanroc are strong, to put them as high as you did is unreasonable, Ash’s Lucario only beat regular Garchomp (who was already wounded from Sirfedtch’d) while it was Mega Evolved. Apart from holding its own against Lugia, that’s its only feat. Vs feats like Sceptile vs full HP Darkrai, or Infernape, being low on hp, and poisoned also taking out Paul’s Electivire. Aside from all that, the biggest flaw in this list, is Lycanroc being #3, no one else has it that high, and for a good reason. Lycanroc isn’t even his ace. When fighting Tapu Bulu, Lycanroc got dogged on by a tree and landed one stone edge, which Bulu blocked. Not to mention it didn’t activate its whole island guardian mode, and surely didn’t look like it was breaking a sweat fighting Lycanroc. Overall it’s a poor sparring match that doesn’t constitute as much of a battle and isn’t an impressive feat whatsoever.
Sceptile was the only Pokémon in the entire sinnoh league to defeat darkrai. Barry had seen ash and Paul but when he saw darkrai he was shitting his pants. And for charziard you didn’t use the same logic
@@Pokiiii62 but Barry was so freaked out over darkrai even after he battled Paul so shouldn’t sceptile be above infernape. And that darkrai is miles ahead of the articiuno and entei that charizard faced

but the thing is, if any of his aces passed out, it would cause alot of problems to the pokemon fandom who likes that exact ace who passed out

-6v6
-all gimmicks are allowed once every battle
-less plot armor, actual strategy.

Yes, that is true, but we just don't know who those ppl are, we know enough to say that they are significantly weaker than ash 😭

I agree I’m a little bias do gliscor is my favorite Mon
Gliscor is trash lol it won like 2 battles in total, it was able to beat drapion coz of the combined effort of all the Pokemon

4:28 it’s confirmed that Tobias soloed all the gym leaders and league with darkrai up until ash
I feel like calling Tobias's Darkrai "Featless" is a bit of an exaggeration considering that it solo'd 3 of ash's previous pokemon, and was the only pokemon Tobias has used in the league until that fight (Which bare minimum puts him above all 8 gym leaders)
The problem is that we just don't know how strong the trainers of whom he fought were. We just know they're weaker than Ash

0:22
Yeah especially since you know, Pikachu is Ash’s real ace.
If I had to be honest on who Ash's Johto Ace would be, I'd have to give it to Heracross. It's battle against Scizor & Magmar were amazing!!!!!! Moreover since it was around the time of Generation 2, if only Ash had kept Heracross on his team at the time as maybe it could've helped & be The Ace to take down Whitney's Miltank as it was the only Fighting type that Ash had at the time
That's very valid friend 💙
Fun fact, we didn't, so those fight, so for all we know, those trainers could've been much weaker than ash
Secondly, where the heck are you getting that deoxys is 2nd fastest Pokémon? - nothing states that within both the anime and the manga 💀
And no experience doesn't automatically make a Pokémon more powerful. It's simply a statistic that could decide a battle if both opponents are equal, then it would come down to the more minute statistics
Lastly, lycanroc, even being relative to tapu bulu, is still impressive enough considering tapu bulu survived against solgaleo/lunala, who fought ultra necrozma one of the strongest beings in the verse
Please study your manga and Anime feats I highly recommend that!
@@Pokiiii62
•Darkrai is still the only pokemon Tobias used his entire Sinnoh run until Sceptile took it down.

Good video do love where you put Lucario. He should always be Number 1 or 2 in the rankings. I have never seen Lycanroc in such a high rank before.
Lyconrock above charizard is hard for me I can’t see it mainly cause lyconrock didn’t have a lot of feats and lyconrock landed what two hits and then as soon as the topo got serious it got neged

Speed form dioxys sceptile caught up with speed form dioxys
it's suprising to see that almost all of his aces were starter pokemon
Very true
Your video was great keep up the good work!@@Pokiiii62
That doesn't surprise me, personally. The starter Pokemon are consistently shown to be some of the more powerful Pokemon in the anime, with the former world champion, Leon, not only having a starter as his ace in Charizard, but he also owned all 3 Galar starters as well, and they're all most likely able to Gigantamax (Inteleon is the only one that never was shown doing so). Speaking of Leon, his Rillaboom was also shown to be crazily powerful, most likely his second strongest after Charizard, most notably taking out most of Diantha's team by itself offscreen
In my opinion Incineroar should’ve been Ash’s Alola ace
Huh, Darkrai had never lost in all of Sinnoh, so he's too powerful
Some honorable mentions for ace mons are
Tauros: 1v1’d a metagross of a battle frontier to a draw.
Ash Greninja should have returned for the world tournament and we should have gotten a rematch between him and Alain
I know this video is 8 months old at the time im writing this but i wanted to make my own lists so here's my ranking of the aces
8.lycanroc:i disagree with the tapu bulu scaling for the following reasons 1. Tapu bulu only trained lycanroc it wasn't an actual fight 2. Lycanroc didn't do anything against tapu bulu to make him anywhere near as strong as tapu bulu 3. The tapu bulu from the anime isn't the same from the manga or the game other than that his best feat would be holding it's own against kukui's incineroar
7.krookodile:his best feat would be defeating iris's dragonite but other than that he didn't do much else that's as good but that's a notable feat nonetheless
6.Infernape:his bets feat would be against volkner and moltres and his Blaze ability is extremely strong but also risky since infernape has to be in bad shape to activate the ability
5.snorlax:he is definitely a powerhouse defeating multiple frontier pokemon which would put him at/close to E4 levels of strength but the pokemon higher on the list are just stronger
4.Sceptile:not only beat multiple frontier pokemon but also beat a darkrai that soloed the league including the gym leaders like volkner without losing and his speed is absolutely insane as he outspeed deoxys speed form
3.charizard also beat frontier pokemons and even an articuno and charizard got even stronger after that point
2.greninja:he is a strong being able to put up a fight against multiple champion level pokemon
1.lucario: this might be controversial but im putting lucario above greninja, while greninja did beat lucario he didn't use his mega evolution or the giant aura sphere in the fight but also lucario got much stronger afterwards being able to one shot raihans duraludon who is arguably stronger than alain's charizard and he even beat Cynthia's togekiss and garchomp back to back im sure if both lucario and greninja had a rematch lucario would have a high chance of beating greninja
Well did i cook or burnt the kitchen let me know by liking or commenting
Infernape should be #1 for strength and power, but also his unforgetable personality and his ties in the rivalry of ash and paul
We actually do know, it’s insanely strong!
For all we know, his opponents could've been significantly weaker than ash himself, what kinda logic is that 💀
@@Pokiiii62
How about this since this is my last reasoning: Torkoal and Pikachu can be reference points.

Infernape fought 2 pseudolegendaries…How is aggron a pseudolegendary now???
Swellow and Incineroar were done dirty here. Incineroar was a Torracat all throughout Alola and only has one battle as an Incineroar so it's understandable. But Swellow was the one putting in the work during Hoenn because Sceptile was still a Grovyle at that time and evolved during Battle Frontier.
That’s true but Grovyle was putting in work too. Sceptile is no doubt his ace.
nice video keep up the
good work
Thanks so much, my friend. These words make me very happy! 💙
I agree that ash’s jojo ace it charizard because it’s like its arc spans 3 adventures kanto it was used but not an ace then orange isles made it listen but johto it won him the first and last badge as well as its league performance
Glad people can see that
If you weren't going to say it, I will. I will personally say that no matter what, Infernape has to be next to Charizard in any ranking of strength since Prof. Oak said Infernape battled Charizard, and while the outcome wasn't revealed, it at least proved that Infernape is an equal to Charizard in power.
That doesn't mean it was equal at all. For all we know, he could've gotten 2 hits and then be knocked out
@@Pokiiii62then why he decided to go against Moltres if he can't even be equal to Charizard, who's according to an episode narrative is weaker?
Actually, Oak stated that Infernape sparred with all of Ash's other Fire types, not just Charizard. For all we know, Quilava could have been putting in crazy work
He is the goat though ngl. He's easily top 4
@@_Koyomi_Oak also stated that Infernapw grew bored of fighting charizard and went out to seek a challenge in the form of Moltres. That indirectly hints that Infernape has surpassed charizard
Based.
Thanks friend!
Couldn't agree more, keep up the good work we support you 💪🏽
Aggron isn’t a pseudo legendary, it’s just a dope Pokémon, and I’d argue Charizard over Lycanroc due to his vast number of matches and if we include movies, Charizard was going to blow for blow with Entei for awhile
It's a joke bruh, I know aggron isn't a pseudo
For Ash's sun and moon ace I would've used Incineroar or Melmetal or that poison mythical mon he has.
Remember Infernape got beat easily by Flint who’s E4
I honestly think to rethink lycanrock’s position on this board.
1:33 yep Aggron my fav psuedo
Fr man, charizard as well
I feel like infernape and Charizard are stronger than Lykinrock as just fighting a legendary Pokemon doesn't mean that much, you have to beat it to be labelled as strong
aggron is not a psuedo legandary
we all can dream though
Crazy how I meant it as a joke
@@Pokiiii62Not a good joke
Bro lost all credibility when he said “we don’t know how strong Tobias’s darkrai is”
It soloed the entire sinnoh league except for sceptile, it one shot 3 of ash’s Pokemon (including heracross and torkoal, who nearly beat a registeel in the battle frontier), and you also ignored sceptile outspeeding deoxys speed.
Bro you really can’t cherry pick what you wanna count as feats and what you don’t. Gotta be objective.
This are all off Ash true Aces
Kanto: Charizard
Orange Iceland: Snorlax
Johto: Herracross
Hoenn: Sceptile
Sinnoh: Infernape
Unova: Krookodile
Kalos: Greninja
Alola: Lyconroc/Inciniroar
Galar: Lucario
In my opinion Charizard is the best, I sound like a Gen 1er but its pure power is superb
All good friend, of course everyone has their reasons
@Pokiiii62 Of course I am just giving an opinion and I respect everyone's
i get what you mean abt the variants of darkrai but sceptile being so low hurts my heart
I understand completely. It hurts having infernape and charizard as low as they were because I genuinely don't like lycanroc that much, but I don't have a choice, sadly
Charizard alsp defeated articuno bro, i think Charizard should be above Lycanroc but still, a respectable list
Thanks very much friend
Another w from poke
Thanks friend I appreciate the kind words 💙
Bro really said tht aggron is a pseudolegend

@@Pokiiii62 k bro 💪🏿👍🏿
melmetal has left the chat- solgaleo has left the chat-
The Darkrai of the movie fought more with willpower than actual strength. Which is super impressive. But That means Sceptile isn't that strong
Darkrai had alot of feats, it beat all of the sinnoh gym leaders alone if i recall correctly
U forgot my boy snorlax has used 6 moves in 1 battle
4:30 dude they literally confirmed Sceptile the ONLY, let me say it again, ONLY pokemon to defeat darkrai EVER… but i still agree that hes below the others
Im suprise you didn't put Ash
Incineroar on there instead of his Lycanrock
Im surprised he didn't choose his Melmetal or his mythical poison Pokemon.
The real reason pikachu isn’t here is because he’s winning easily
Drugs won’t affect the child
The child:
Someone doesn't have anything else to say huh
Correction no we
We do know darkrai because its SPELLED OUT it is told that tobias beat the entire league from the first gym leader just with it.
Yes and? The fact of the matter is that those trainers are significantly weaker than ash was, so it's not impressive as you think it might be
@@Pokiiii62 great that makes sense lycanrock was overrated though fighting something doesn't begin to mean matching it
Sceptile was the only Pokémon in the entire sinnoh league to defeat darkrai. Barry had seen ash and Paul but when he saw darkrai he was shitting his pants. And for charziard you didn’t use the same logic
I did, I still gave the darkrai feat to sceptile hence why I did the same for articuno
@@Pokiiii62 but Barry was so freaked out over darkrai even after he battled Paul so shouldn’t sceptile be above infernape. And that darkrai is miles ahead of the articiuno and entei that charizard faced
@@Jajsnsjsnalso charizard FACED a literal full hp one v one Articuno. SCEPTILE faced a darkrai that’s not full hp/ took damage from heracross and gible

Love the video and pretty much agreee with all the placements but i would like to point out that the zygarde feats and statements you mention are from the pokemon adventures manga which is a WHOLE different canon to the pokemon anime the two are not related in the slightest so those feats and statements are null in this video
Even though i am the worlds biggest grinija fan he shouldnt have been ranked that high as alain got delted by leon the fight wasnt even close alain had been training and still stood no chance
Lycanroc's ranking is such a stretch
