Town and Country TV Hey guys just found your channel and have been watching the videos on the 2021 F150. Could you please respond. I wanted know what if any problems there has been on the 3.5 eco boost. That’s the engine size I’ve been thinking of getting. Both my brothers have the V8 but I can’t see for my use what the point of that size would be for me. Please give your advice thanks so much ✌🏾
@@jermaine5561 I can give you advice. The 3.5 has more power than the 5.0. You said you don’t need the power therefore I would get the V8 or the 2.7 just because the 3.5 has had some vibration issues and some cam phaser problems. The 18-20 5.0. About 35-40% of them have potential to drink oil like a rotary but that isn’t that hard of a fix and should be gone for 21 I know of plenty of people with the 18+ 5.0 and haven’t had any problems. I have the 15 5.0 it’s awesome never had any problems. From what I’ve heard the 3.5 is better in the expedition seeing as it has less power; when you try to push the envelope and make as much power as you can to be best in class in everything with a V6 it’s going to have problems. The 5.0 and 2.7 aren’t best in class with anything, so there is less strain on the motor. Still great though. My dad has a 16 5.0 and tows a 5,000 lb boat all of the time, it doesn’t squat, he doesn’t even put the transmission in tow mode. It pulls it like there is nothing there whatsoever. I obviously don’t know what you are going to do with the truck, just go with the 2.7 or the 5.0, great motors. Hope I could help.
American Truck Nation thanks for the in depth response. I was planning on just using it more as a utility truck for around the house and to also just have a up grade in space as well. The thing is 3.5 would be better priced then the V8 right? I know everyone will have a different out look on what they like but I’ve also seen people say that in the past the 2.7 has a bit of issues. I guess I was thinking the 3.5 would be cheaper and I would get the power needed if I wanted to use it but also with going with the smaller of the motors be able to go with a better overall package of like the top XLT package or the mid line Lariat.
Ford required Goodyear to produce a tire with "Wrangler" deleted from the mold. They didn't want "Wrangler" written on the Bronco.
It's a double edged sword- Broncos and Wranglers can run the same tires, so guys can be guys and help each other out when they're in a bind, but that meant running the established tires on the market, which are branded. Ford did a bro move with using Wrangler tires, but you can't launch a flagship with your competitors trademark on it.
Coming from a 1993 Lightning owner, and someone who has a reservation in for a Bronco. Eventually those un badged Wranglers will be as hard to find as a stock set of Lightning wheels.
I think they did that on purpose! But I should encourage them to go with BF Goodrich ko2 for the better looks AND handling

They go GREAT on big rocks, big mud and even DEEP WET SNOW (i.e. coastal Pacific Northwest wet mountain snow!)

I BET ENGINEERS HAD A REAL BLAST DESIGNING THIS CAR....THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST THOUGHT OUT CARS IN THE MARKET.
Most important part: you can add the dash mounted usb on any trim level. Basically means that the under dash connector is on all trims. Just order the plug from ford parts dept. not sure why it is not included on all trim, or included when you purchase the attachment for the dash.

Thanks for being honest a and advocating for no dealers markeups that’s a lot of times the reason the general public does not even bother upgrading or buying a new vehicle because dealer markups have gotten ridiculous and the general public just wait 4 years and buy our dream vehicle 4 years later because the insane dealer markups the dealerships adds for new vehicles we like
Hi! Great review by the way! To answer your question about whether manufacturers include extras in with the financing, the answer is yes. I've done it with roof tents etc. 😊 Lastly, about the 2 door model not having enough cargo space to store the doors, I'm not sure if that's correct. I checked around and Ford said that the doors and the top could both be stored in the 2 door model. (Keep in mind that this may only be with the top off and everything resting vertically, but still...apparently it CAN be done. Also, the storage bags they offer for doing such are awesome!)

I want to see a video going in depth on the digital cluster and showing the configurability of it
My guess for the third brake light is there are multiple holes for the different size tires. There is a 5” difference between available factory tires. Unlikely they would have multiple mounts just for the TBL. Easy enough to find out, remove the spare tire. Also, last I checked Badlands should have steel bumper front and rear as standard. But a few things have changed so that may be one of them.

I suspect that is going to be addressed at some point. Rear vents are expected these days.
Love the option to finance the accessories,the fact the mirrors stay with the body and that 6 speed manual with the crawler gear!!👍🏿👍🏿 good job Ford still think they should call the crossover style Bronco the 2 like the old models. I’ll take mine 2door Rapid Red with the Sasquatch package!

I would purchase the 4-Door, if I was younger. I had a 1985 Bronco XLT, loved it, but getting in and out of the back seat was a pain for everyone involved. I'm a big guy, too....now, I'm just old and don't "flex" at all. Great presentation, Mitchell.
Why would you have trouble getting in and out of the back if it was a 4 door?
Mitchell, as usual, but I got to say, you did a fantastic job on this video. Well shot, and super informative. Glad I saw the video, cause I was going to go with a regular basket rack for my truck but seeing that Yakima rack platform sold me. Bronco is sweet, but I bet with all the toys she is going to cost a pretty penny. Ford really did a good job with this truck.

Hey we are in the south, and we talk slow, and we listen slow so can't really understand him BUT what I do understand is that the older Broncos are going to be a good investment, so just bought a 95, fully restored new leather, new paint etc. 17K
Good they making out of the door bigger wheel and good rubber trim....hopefully it will encourage Jeep to produce one of those cool looking prototype trims they were showing, like the Nacho or 4speed
Great video! Definitely interested to test drive a Badlands or higher version, especially with the 2.7 ecoboost powertrain. I like that you can equip the winch right from the factory. I would wait till they work through the 1st or 2nd year of new model gremlins though.
Rear AC is essential I wish if ford can add proper vents for the 4door
I hope they make the Carbonized Grey modular rooftop with the blackout window that would probably be the only one I would I add and the 35 inch tires that’s it

Ive seen a few photos and a couple videos on the new Bronco. I wasn’t really all that impressed. Ive owned quite a few Broncos. 67, 76, 78, 84, and currently own an 86.
After seeing this walk around, I’ll admit, im extremely impressed by what Fords designed and built.
This is the reason why I’ve always liked Ford over Chevy.
Can’t wait. We got a 1982 and a 1996. Hoping that we can convince mom to get a 2021
