I am so glad you guys are doing this series. The information you're providing on the day to day livability of the Bronco and the capability of the Bronco on long trips are two of the things that are most important in making a long-term purchase. Also give ME that other Bronco lol. Love this channel
I have been an avid Jeep owner for a few yrs, and I am IMPRESSED with what FORD has done with the Bronco. SERIOUSLY thinking of trading my JLUR for a BADLANDS. Love your videos...Thank You from Upstate NY
@@xplrarav48 i ABSOLUTELY go off road after watching a video of Lite Brite going on the Rubicon trail with friends in a Bronco Badlands...SUPER EXCITED
wow absolutely the best Bronco video you and I believe anyone else has done so far... To give complete and specific commentary on a long trip like you did was just fabulous... Very in depth and I imagine lots of Bronco owners will appreciate the video
I wanted a Bronco for a bit now. I am hoping to win or build one in a year or two! Atleast after I have some time in my new job. Your videos make me more pumped to get one. Keep the videos rolling!
Enjoyed the video! So cool you took it up to Pikes peak! Happy to say I got to visit a few years back and yeah the engine lag was no joke in our rental Envoy! Subscribed!! Belled up!!
i want one of these more than anything i have a 1990 bronco eddie baurer edition i have litterally lost everything i love in my life except my bronco it has actually been my home due to covid you guys are4 amazing
My husband met you at Pikes Peak this day! I unfortunately did not get the opportunity since I was busy with the kids. Thanks for all the awesome Bronco videos 😃
You must have passed right by my apartment! I live right alongside I-70 in Kansas! I would have loved to see the bronco so I'll keep an eye out for your return trip!
Thanks for letting us hear the sound on the top! Every review I’ve read and video I’ve watched makes it seem like it’s the worst thing in the world. But it’s not that bad!
The soft top noise doesn’t bother me, and if I lived in Alabama or in the Southern United States, I’d be more inclined to try it, and I may opt for a full soft top during the summer. That aside, the factory soft top has a dimple in the side windows, most likely from how it operates, and I’m not a fan of that and I’m happy with my choice going OEM hard top, and having the option to use an available soft top later. ✌🏼
Son use to live in Dallas about a 1200 mile trip from West Virginia, I could do it in about 17.5 hours, the drive wasn’t bad but the sun in your face most of the day heading west wore me plum out.
Pretty impressive time on a very long drive. I made a similar drive back in 85 from Ft Walton Beach to Denver in 30 hours. It just seems like driving across Texas would take forever!
Jorge Lopez and TFL were able to get better than 19 mpg on their Sasquatch Broncos with 2.7L V6s. Jorge drove from Houston down the gulf coast in his Wildtrak and got 18.something in that direction but got over 19 mpg on the return trip. TFL drove their First Edition Bronco on a road-trip across a long stretch through Colorado and they got about 19.3 mpg. I think Jordan from Bronco Nation said they got something like 21 mpg in their 2.3L Badlands with 33" tires on their trip from Florida to the T&C facility in Alabama.
Bueny and the surrounding area amongst the collegiate peaks is a beautiful area, enjoy! If you’re ever in the area again hit up patio pancakes in Salida down the road!
I’m in my son’s home great room right now looking at Pikes Peak. It’s as good a view from here as from the top. It would only look better if my old Camry in their driveway could morf into your new Bronco. I can dream.
I have a 2019 Jeep JL Wrangler. With the 3.6 L and 8 speed tranny with 35's ( Hankook Dayna Pro MT2's) HWY mpg at 75 mph 26.8 , in town 23 mpg. Now I live in Montana at 6000 ft in elevation so thats what I get in my Wrangler running 87 octane.
Time to calibrate that tire size into the CPU. My wife finally got her VIN number last Saturday! Build date of 9/27. Maybe she will get it by Christmas!
You should stop by Boulder, CO and visit TFL Truck. They have a First Edition Bronco Sasquatch. It would be interesting to take them both on a trail to see the difference in performance. Plus, you can gain some potential subscribers.
Nice dude I've done that drive a couple of times....its a long one. You should look out for the TFL guys out there they have a yellow First Edition they've been posting about as well. Good luck and be safe on the drive back. As always thanks for the vids.
ordered a bronco but ended up going with a tesla instead for money and personal reasons… i LOVE the way this bronco looks and hopefully one day i’ll get my hands on one👏🏽
You should’ve waited until spring next year for the Ford lightning EV That would’ve been like getting a Tesla and a potential off-road vehicle all in one but with a little less range
@@Man_in_a_Gucci_Suit i thought about it! that’s why i’m going to lease the tesla. in 3 years there could be so much improvement from all of these companies and i am very excited

Questions 1) did you need extra lift for the 37’s? 2) why remove fender flares? Looks super cool! 3) what front bumper is that?? Your rig looks sweet. Can’t wait to order my 2022!!
I am planning to take my 2021 Rubicon on roughly the same trip and I definitely have serious concerns about driver fatigue. Bronco sounds like a great road trip vehicle and refreshing to drive on long trips.
Try looking for some 90 deg power adapters. Might be worth stocking in the shop for customers. Also huge thank you on the mention of the turbo lag at elevation. I’m in NM at 5200 ft elevation and regularly play in the mountains at 10k feet and above.
I purchased a Big Bronco and prior to this I was driving a mid size SUV. I have noticed it becomes difficult to control Bronco once it crosses 80mph especially if there are curves on the road. It can cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle as it has happened with me. People in NJ highways drive in the 90 to 100 mph in the left most lane on the highway and one just can't keep it in that lane. Do pick up drivers also face similar thing? I don't think so because I have seen them driving 90 to 100mph in the same lane and at the same time maintaining good control, even if the highway has curved roads.
Does anyone else find it interesting that he started the video off in Arkansas then 5 minutes in when he shows his math for the fuel mileage shows a route that goes completely over the state of Arkansas?
I enjoy the videos and never come in to put a product down unless-but why would you not have the speedometer re-done to coexist with 37's? Good long run, I drove my JL from Arizona to Georgia 25 hours and averaged 17.0 MPG and that was 2.5 lifted on the 35's and rock rails ,winch not a rubicon-not sure if it's a good comparison, also the soft top did not buckle at the back windows like the bronco did. That's peculiar.
I've done many 1200+ mile cross country drives in my two-door '17 Wrangler. The seats are very comfortable, but the solid-axle makes the Jeep have really bad road skitter over rough pavement. The handling is only so-so, and it's not a pleasure to drive at high speeds for long distances. The soft top is loud and leaks a lot of air, so you have to get the heat adjusted just right. The road skitter is, by far, the worst part of every trip.
Nice Help/tell on tyres. it took more fuel points for a military quarter tonnes on diesel to do that type trek. off road milege was better then on road and quieter.
How can you fix the differences in mpg/miles to make it accurate? Question regarding the MT tires-how is the wear on them just doing normal driving? Do they wear faster or last just as long as an All Terrain tire?

Maybe take the headrest out of the center rear seat when you are folding them flat. That looks like it'll give you more room.
I love common sense lol.
You could also plug in an ext cord or multiport to it, just dont overload it.

Enjoyed your video and glad you had some positive vibes for the bronco. I'm planning on purchasing the Big Ben in a few months in Arkansas. Take care.
I totally agree the tanks are small for the fuel economy, especially on the two door. Hopefully the after market brings out an Aux tank option.

As far as the soft top goes. They say it’s not very bad in the front drivers seat but where it gets really loud is in the back seats

You can fix the trip meter and speedo by changing the tire diameter and psi in the ECU. Eville Truck did a video on it.
