Always use flocked sill brush with 50/100 fan jets that are set at quite high volume, all in the rinse. I wouldn’t use another type of bristle on my everyday brush. I’ll check it out at the show. Interesting to see the various nozzles working. Nice one Dave 👍🏻
Great info, thanks Dave. Just so you know sound is only on right hand channel apart from outro music that's on both! The brushes do look very good and solve a few issues that the other manufacturers haven't solved.
Triple glazed glass seems to scratch easily so I would use it on them too but like the way they feel on the glass and the clean they give so use flocked most of the time
Dave, thanks for the videos. Probably the only ones I trust on UA-cam. Currently I use an Xline 35 cm (DuPont) with an internal rinse bar. I have really liked this brush. Don’t think I’d want the external rinse bar jets as I would imagine they would constantly get knocked off. After switching to the internal rinse bar I wouldn’t want to go back to standard jets as it has been so much quicker. What set up did did you run prior (type of brush)? Can I screw my Ova8 swivel on? I have never come across a need to lock it.
@@squeakycleandave1 Thanks Dave, couple of questions if possible….. 1. What is the best jet/jet combination to use that is comparable to the rinsing speed/ability of the Xline? 2. Would you go back to Xline. I’ve really liked their 35cm with the rinse bar. It’s so quick compared to any others I have used?
Don't get me wrong they look great but I currently use a Gardiner Xtreme which is about 95 g so I think the lightest one that he does is nearly 200. So I'd be interested if he could make a super light one.
Dave do you still use the spring wfp v16 radio flow controller. If so where can I go to get one. Ps just bought the Dupont Edge from DA components. Looks great.
No mate it was a V11 and I find the V16 much better so I don’t use it now. Not sure who sell them. You could drop Spring a message to find out the suppliers
It’s very similar to the Xline. The cleaning guide is on the back burner for a while as my brother doesn’t have time for it at the moment and I’m really busy but thinking about getting it going again
When you write out a sentence 3 times in a text and you still don't know how to spell it so you use a different word 😂😂😂😂. Quality. Look good these. Might get work to order some 👀
All lovely little fancy features but missing the whole point I think, what I personaly want/need is something that can remove the stubborn marks quicker and easier. The average wfp brush is futile when coming up against snail trails and bird muck, sometimes I can scrub a mark for 30-60 seconds and it doesnt budge then give up with the brush and use my finger nail, then the problem seems to simply fall off. Snail trails take a lot of effort and time using a brush but come away with one pass of a microfibre. We need innovation in agitation, constructor has the right idea but not suited to uk windows. INOVATION IN AGAITATION PLEASE!!!!! (feel free to use the tag line Darren)
A lot to like about those brushes. This will sound daft but they are quite ugly brushes 😊! Couldn't agree more on turning your water up full, ive mine at 99 & find it a no brainier. Thanks as always for the upload Dave, very informative. ☘️
Great video as always Dave. Nice to see how well thought out the design has been.
very true

Thanks Gordon 👍
Surprising to see innovation in the brush market but there is a lot of features in these brushes. Will be sure to pick some up at the expo
Great choice 👍

Don’t know what’s wrong with my mic. It was set for stereo 🤷♂️
No sound at all on my TV😮
Thanks for the vid really informative! I’m going to upgrade my XLine 35cm with centre rinse bar. Did you try the boars hair & DuPont?
I tried the DuPont which was really good but not the boars hair
Great vid dave as ever 👍🏻
Thanks Neil
Amazing price and if i was Darren .. i would contemplate making a wide solar panel cleaning brush of. maybe. 45. to 65 cm
Great idea 👍
Thanks mate
My pleasure 👍
Great to see you back Dave. Can you tell me if the v jets fit the Gardner brushes please keep the great trade going 💯
Not 100% sure but I would say not
Hi Dave…another great video. Other than leaded & delicate wooden windows - when else (and why) would you choose to use the flocked brush?
Triple glazed glass seems to scratch easily so I would use it on them too but like the way they feel on the glass and the clean they give so use flocked most of the time

I used the 35cm DuPont with centre rinse bar from Xline as well.
It screws straight into ova8 gooseneck

As these are his first brushes I might be wrong but I'm sure he has more planed

Nice video mate, how does the dupont compare to the xline? You packed up the cleaning guide?

Are these good fir hydrophobic glass?
Yes bud. If you choose the right brush and jet setup they are good on any glass
Can you use them for softwashing?
I don't see why not but if you really need to know best ask DA Components
