This is my way. I'm sure there is many other ways to do this. Try this Try that and come up with your own ideas if you can.. Blood paint by jdfstudios.com
Omg the blood in the bag trick is GENIUS. My knifes always looked "fine" painted with a brush, but this trick gives a truly realistic effect. Liked and saved for next October
You should try doing this with perma blood I think u could get some cool results this does look good on its own tho and unfortunately jdf isn’t selling products anymore
Great vid. I don't think that we have that glue here. Is it a wood and craft glue? I have heard of people using dust and dirt off the floor in their garage instead of the coffee. I you happen to pick up some dog or cat hair with the dust well that is just a bonus. I am about to start moding a plastic Jason Voorhees machete that has a good shape but the blade is not a good silver colour and the bright red paint has deep paint brush strokes in it. Regards, Jas. Aye thanks
Pretty good thanks for the info!
I’m definitely doing my fake knife like this for Halloween. I’m going as chucky
i wish i had a 17 inch ziplock bag lol
Could you just dye the mod podge red? Either way, this looks pretty good!
Could I use CopyDex glue for this or does it specifically have to be Modge Podge? I also have the Perma Blood too. Thanks
I'm guessing as long as it dries clear it should be good. It's just being used to seal everything and keep it attached
Hi eason Strickland jasup ga area big fan remember me
would elmer's glue work?
It might. No sure I'd it will dry as clear. Might want to test it 1st
Is JDF Studios gone? Can you recommend an alternative to fake blood glue?
Yeah JDF is gone. Next place where I use to get it is here. They have 4oz size to to like gallons. www.palenightproductions.com/perma-blood/
@@sdcostumeguy2435 Thanks!
Try Perma Blood from Pale Night Productions. It’s good.
Could this also be done with fake slime?
Jason Lives clothing tutorial plz
When i do that the modge podge turns brown what did i do wrong
The only thing I can think of is if you use instant coffee that will probably happen.
@@sdcostumeguy2435 ah ok thanks is there another way I could do it without the coffee?
@@liamhorsfield5444may be able to use dirt. I've used oatmeal to in the past.
@@sdcostumeguy2435 thank you so so much for the help
Where did you get the RZ bowie knife prop
beyonddisgustingstudios.com
@@sdcostumeguy2435 thanks I appreciate it
What is the blood website?🎉
do you mod podge it one last time after the blood has dried?
I haven't but you probably could.
@@sdcostumeguy2435 Thanks.
Anyone know if I can use regular Elmer’s glue is that a good 2nd option ?
You might be able to but Elmer's glue is not as strong as the modpodge glue.
You don't mind if I subscribe to you SD costume guy
