    What a good idea! Those look delicious. It looks as if you are using used lids, though.... do you find they hold their seal OK?

      We haven't had a problem with them holding their seal, but they also don't last long because the kids LOVE them!!

      So I have a question...are you oranges bitter? I've heard not cleaningnoff the pith and taking off as much of the membrane as possible causes them to be bitter!

      @@rsboothby Some are bitter and some are not. We have not determined what the cause is though.

    Peptic Enzyme ( you can find it where wine making things are sold). Add 1 / 8 the teaspoon per quart and soak for 12 ish hours or overnight . Shake and rinse several times the pith will slough off easily. Preserve as directed.
