I was lucky enough to see Elton perform in Tacoma Washington back mid 80s. He was quite the showman... he sang this song and the whole place was silent.... and when he played that last note, the place erupted... he kept us soo entertained! There is only ONE Elton.
Elton's catalog is legendary. So hard to pick songs to recommend. 3 of my favs are "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me," "Daniel" and "Someone Saved My Life Tonight."

The most fascinating trivia about Elton is how his creations come to be. A man named Bernie Taupin writes the lyrics, sends them to Elton and he composes the music and performs it. They rarely see each other during this process, each contributes their part of the magic separately. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Levon would be good songs to review. Thank you for letting us re-live our yesterdays through your reactions.
@@realcoolbreeze Sorry to hear about your concert plans being cancelled, what a shame! I saw him perform with Billy Joel when they toured together. Both are amazing in concert.
