    25:47 you almost deemed it a no fix. It's so scary, if you didn't have eyes on the amp screen, you wouldn't have noticed it dropping to zero. Such a crucial detail.

    The dust is from an atomizer. You put powered flux in it and spray on the board it act's the same as putting alcohol on the board. You can see which bit turns to liquid, i.e., the hot spot, another great video 👍

    Man, when a laptop has a dusty motherboard, before i check or assume anything, i can assume a short can be anywhere basically because dust can very likely contain conductive material, that's why i always first clean it and then check for actual shorts, you know, just in case.

    when Sorin said cpu is cold and the vcore only 0.5, I knew something was wrong there
    normal vcore for i7 should be around 1-1.2V

    • @harrydijkstra9936
      @harrydijkstra9936 11 місяців тому

      Depends on cpu generation.
      If this laptop has an i3-5005 2ghz without turbo it's around 0.6 to 0.75V
      I5-8365U default: 0.65 on idle to around 1.275. I undervolt lot's of them with -150mv on core and -75 on cache, this gives a major improvement on them with i7-1165G7 performance.

    Sir i had one doubt the technique you are using to find the short and applying the voltage with the power supply could we use it in any like desktop mother boards circuits etc..if possible please explain

    • @winlose3073
      @winlose3073 11 місяців тому +1

      You need to watch his videos and understand his method I don't think he or anyone else can explain it to you with a comment. It takes time but that's how you go. Suppose someone tells you it's fine still you need to know when and how and see it yourself to believe it !

    • @markkay8117
      @markkay8117 11 місяців тому

      you can use this technique almost anywhere ,to find the faulty(shorted) chip or component. Low voltage - 0.9-1 v and a bit of current will tell you where short is.

    Hello mister, i have an issue with my laptop. İ have a hp 250 g5 laptop, 3 weeks ago while i was studying for my exam, it suddenly shut down with a click sound and it wont turned on. When i plugged in the charger the charhing led was blinking. Normally this wouldn't happen when it was charging, the light would come on solidly. Then, i press to power button, it opened for 1 second and went off immediately with the same click sound. İt was just like a fuse blown sound. When i press to the power button again nothing happened for this time. What should i do? Also this happened 1 week after my laptop came from repair and i dont know how should i tell this to my family im a university student and last repair was on the motherboard and it costed too expensive 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

    I believe it is not very common for the LDO 3,3 power supply to fail. there are capacitors around this chip, I would check them all also, before replacing the actual chip. Something caused this chip to fail.
