    My old Lenovo laptop has dual graphics, removable CPU, RAM, HD Drive, optical drive, ExpressCard Slot and PCi slot for exchangeable wifi/Bluetooth card, removable battery, there are openings at the bottom so you can exchange or upgrade everything without having to take it apart, it uses a standard barrel jack for power supply. The laptop is barely thicker than the new ones.
    This just goes to show how manufacturers are screwing us over.

    The computers will last too long if they use better components. Manufactures want them to fail after the warranty.

    • @MelonSalao
      @MelonSalao 11 місяців тому +1

      I would have to buy a cpu taken from another board, they are not cheap and you don't know if they applied too much heat when removing the cpu or if it works, too much risk.

    • @andrewwturner
      @andrewwturner 11 місяців тому +1

      Sorin showed a video once where he had received a replacement CPU from China. It was recovered from another motherboard and the removal process left it bent like a banana so no chance of soldering it in and he would have been left with the hassle of getting it sent back for a refund.
