I used to take Chair Dancing Burlesque and it was very sexy. It taught us that every woman is beautiful & forever sexy. The routines were a bit challenging and we learned new routines ever 2 classes. Always new, unique, and a workout. It was very cool to learn how to be sexier at the age of 58. 😊

I’m limited in my mobility temporarily due to my cast BUT in 3 days it comes off and my plantar fasciitis should be on the road to recovery! @@Rebelmusedesign Hi there, I had “Plantar fasciotomy” for severe plantar fasciitis. My doctor recommended a podiatrist. My podiatrist determined it was too severe for anything but surgery. This is week 5 and I am pain free and able to walk/workout/run without pain. I wish you the best💕
Lauren. Thank you so much for your Chair workouts. I will be 60 this year. I had a bone graft surgery on my foot and I am non weight bearing for a total of 10 weeks. 😮 It's be a long 7 weeks. But your Chair exercises for Seniors has been a God send for me. ❤

Today I crushed garlic in a manual garlic crushed 12 months ago I could not have done this Thank you Lauren on your videos you say ill make you stronger and you have. I started with chair Yoga then chair Pilates now I do chair level up, chair Barre, chair Yoga strength and chair Abs something different everyday I am so much stronger at in my 70s that is amazing, last year I was depressed because I could no longer do Gym work now thanks to you I can exercise everyday ❤❤
Finally found a chair that works! Great workout as usual. Followed it with the 10 minute arm toning. Thanks for keeping the workouts new and effective. 😊❤💪
Good morning from Croatia! I have been a faithful pupil of yours, that then I took this trip and neglected my exercises for several days. With the tours we do there’s a lot of standing and slow strolling which kills my back. I’m in a very small hotel room and this morning I decided I needed Your work out today and this has helped. Now for a hot shower or bath and I’m ready for the hike we have planned for today…. thank you again!

Hi Loren - thanks for having suggested I try the standing Pilates workouts, because I decided to give this routine a go, when my MS meant I wanted to exercise from a seated position. Really enjoyed the whole workout and thought the abs were really quite amazing for moves done from a stumped position 😄🙂Will definitely be doing this again👍
Hi Lauren, I do have arthritis in my left knee useful strengthening exercises at the moment my knee is not too bad with warmer weather but once we get the cold weather it really plays up so I will have to keep up with these strengthening exercises❤️

Hi Lauren, Thanks for this recommendation. I loved this workout, another new favorite. I combined it with another amazing instructors 18-minute chair yoga. Hopefully, if I continue this, my leakage will subside some more please.
I love to do your more relaxed workouts on days that I am just not feeling it, especially the days after a more intense workout. They give me permission to take it easy without completely slacking off...and bonus I get a good work out still.

Wonderful! Love that your husband joined you! When you are ready you can try to use ankle weights. That will help strengthen your quads in a seated position. I also have an entire playlist of knee friendly workouts as well as a video for knee pain. 😀
Thank you! I love pilates but at 76 getting on the floor is challenging and standing core work is not as effective as pilates floor work. This chair pilates was a challenge and I could really feel it in my core. What a great routine to stretch and work the core❤️
Thank you! A great workout for me since I have an inner ear issue which limits my balance. Now I can stretch and feel it without holding on to something or losing my balance.
Lauren, your workouts are great! I am totally devoted to them. This one was also great but made me realize how tall you must be. I couldn’t get many feet to lie flat on the floor while sitting in a standard height dining room chair, even if I sat on the edge. So I had to do the workout with just my toes touching the ground. I’m 5’3” but I guess I must have short legs!
Thanks Sally! It may be helpful for the chair workouts for you to have something under your feet. Yoga blocks or stacked books are are good idea so you have proper alignment 😀
Just want you to know I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for making chair palates for someone like me. I am 70 years old, and since I retired 8 years ago my life went from on my feet all day, to housework and a little gardening. Recently I fell and even though I wasn't hurt, I could barely get myself off the floor. I really needed something to strengthen not just my legs, but mainly my core. When I get up in the morning and feel the slight soreness in my abdomen I knew the chair pilates was doing it's job. I also love the cardio you sometimes incorporate. It seems like some of the moves you do are like a ballerina, and I was wondering if you had some training? Anyway thank you!
Feeling good after doing this! I am hoping to be able to use this to walk and do more down day trips with my partner, thank you ❤ (I have bad muscle weakness and am pleased to have stumbled and tried this video, here's to the many more coming)

Thank you! A great workout for me since I have an inner ear issue which limits my balance. Now I can stretch and feel it without holding on to something or losing my balance.

Lauren, your workouts are great! I am totally devoted to them. This one was also great but made me realize how tall you must be. I couldn’t get many feet to lie flat on the floor while sitting in a standard height dining room chair, even if I sat on the edge. So I had to do the workout with just my toes touching the ground. I’m 5’3” but I guess I must have short legs!
Thanks Sally! It may be helpful for the chair workouts for you to have something under your feet. Yoga blocks or stacked books are are good idea so you have proper alignment 😀

Just want you to know I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for making chair palates for someone like me. I am 70 years old, and since I retired 8 years ago my life went from on my feet all day, to housework and a little gardening. Recently I fell and even though I wasn't hurt, I could barely get myself off the floor. I really needed something to strengthen not just my legs, but mainly my core. When I get up in the morning and feel the slight soreness in my abdomen I knew the chair pilates was doing it's job. I also love the cardio you sometimes incorporate. It seems like some of the moves you do are like a ballerina, and I was wondering if you had some training? Anyway thank you!
