I got my vol.3 ordered I had vol.2 when it came out and missed vol.1 so many times but finally scored it and now i just need vol.4 and next year's vol.5 😁😁😁
Been waiting for it to com out. I get the feeling Davis got inspiration from Keith Giffens/ JM DeMatteis work on Justice League international. The comedy touches esp. Sad to hear vol 4 won’t be as good. Ordered mine. Thanks for the vid.8
Quite possibly! Volume 4 will still be well worth getting, but events like Onslaught start to strongly effect the direction the story had to take and took some control away from David which I imagine was frustrating for him. Also the art just doesn't reach the same heights as the Keown and Frank stuff. Thanks for watching anyway!
Yeah to be fair, after properly rereading these issues again I did actually enjoy the Liam Sharp issues quite a lot, but the Keown and Frank artwork is just on another level during this run
Yeah I want to get this JUST for Gary Frank's art but it really is a shame that he didn't do more of the art especially when you consider that after this his entire art style took a nose dive and never recovered and returned to this quality level
It's definitely the weakest of the four and I go into why in my review on that one but I still like it overall and it has some good moments. I really like the whole run but the best stuff is in volumes 2 and 3

Expected more from Deodato Jr and Medina on their Hulk run. Still, Kubert and Sharp had some solid art even in the 90s.

was thinking of getting these, would it be ok to skip vol 4, alot of people say vol 4 takes a nose dive in quality and vol 3 is the peak?
