Peter David's Hulk is one of my absolute favourite comic book runs! Here, I give a review of the first Omnibus volume collection this 'Incredible' run!
Not too impressed with this 1st volume of Peter David. The first 8-12 issues were a fun read. I did enjoy the Wolverine battle and X Factor appearance being a big X Men guy. Otherwise, 6/10 for me overall.
@@TheComicBookTrove Hi Mike! I would have to agree the Mr. Fix It arc was actually pretty good. Him hired as a Hitman by a mafia ring leader was a cool concept. Peter David had a chance to show the brute side of the gray Hulk run. The Coutdown arc in the end and the Sam Kieth one shot issue was fitting. I guess this truly paved the way to Keown’s run which is waiting for me on my shelf to begin reading. Have all 3 omni’s proceeding this one with Keown, Gary Frank (one of my favorite artists) and Adam Kubert. May take a sabbatical from Hulk as I want to jump on Vol 2 of the X Men Omnibus of the 60’s. Did Peter David write an origin story of Hulk ?
Not that I know of, not as a part of this run anyway, but Hulk's origin story is recapped a few times at various points

Fair enough, what did you think of the Joe Fixit stuff? I love that arc, and the whole run, but I think the very best stuff comes in Volumes 2 and 3

...Omnibuses are bigger and hardcover. Thats a tpb. Over all i wanted to see what issues and art it has
