Nice work Luca e Sara! You're getting so good in building stuff and this was a huge upgrade from before! Horrible about the rain and floodings and all the people who have died because of the bad weather! Be safe beautiful people and caprese I love that too *drooling*
Hello! I think the shed looks great. It’s always nice to have a place to organize your tools. I’ve only been watching your channel for a few weeks. I’m enjoying your travel adventures along with your DIY projects. What I love most about watching you is how you two appreciate & respect each other no matter what you are doing! Be safe & have a wonderful week. 🤗🥰
Aren't they great at producing such vividly beautiful videos. They are just so addictive. The camera skills and editing is fantastic. And they both are not bad to look at either. LOL
I started watching your channel after you were in Positano, I watch two or three videos a day and love every one. You are such positive people and have such joy. I love your home in the mountains and enjoy the DIY at home as well as the travel. I am watching the quarantine episodes now, you are brave people and we admire your enthusiasm.
I have those pink mullion flowers in my yard in the NY mountains! I haven’t seen them anywhere else! So bright… like they are glowing when it’s wet out 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
We are in a drought. No rain. We have fires. Be safe. We all count our blessings for what we do have. I love your shed. Connie in Salt lake City Utah. U.S.A💜
Sara and Luca.................just started watching this about 2 months ago & I am addicted......you two are such a DELIGHT!! I feel that i right there next two you rather than an ocean away!
Lol I like the bloopers you add at the end! Especially after having all that rain while doing something and your shed turned out amazing! Great job!!! I love how you didnt let a little rain stop you from building your new shed! Looks beautiful! You two are beautiful people as well! Thank you for sharing! Have a wonderful day! Love you both! See you next time!😃❤👍
So glad you both are safe. 🙏 for those affected by the flooding in Europe. The shed turned out fantastic and enjoyed seeing all the fruits of your labor in the garden. Love from Texas.
Beautiful cohesion in supporting each other, and I love the spontaneity! Nice shed execution. As an Italian American born in NYC, and having lived in Europe for ten years on and off ...it’s great to see a sweet grounded beautiful couple sharing their joy! Chill, and Dolce far niente!
I feel for you guys. Working so hard on a project just to have it damaged. I admire your spirit y'all and Sara,, I have worked construction for over 25 years and never heard that you have to have the roof on before the flooring. Luca did nothing wrong except for not putting a pitch in the center of the tarp. Excellent video beautiful people. God bless and stay safe.
Bravi on your shed! It was fun watching you two build the shed. Your place is going to be so nice with all the things you are building on it. Sending prayers up for the German people for all the rain they had this month and the lives lost due to the excessive rain.
Ciao!! So many artichokes WOW the garden looks so full! Luca you did that so fast! Shed looks awesome you did it dude!! I wonder what the next project will be. Much love to you both, have the best week🤗💚
I enjoy all your content every week. But it's always funny what little things jump out at you as amusing or interesting. When Luca tried the caprese, I put 2 and 2 together and realized Luca always says 'mmmmm' when his Sara makes him lunch or dinner. Smart man! Good food, good company.
When I see the beautiful colors of Italy's landscape, especially in May and June, I think of the rain that's needed in March and April to create those colors. However, hail storms in July are very strange and scary. You worked very hard on this project, but it seemed to me the wood was low-budget material. I don't know what winters are like there, but I don't see this shed lasting very long. I remember building a shed with my dad near the pool of our family home. He laid a concrete floor above dirt, and the walls featured double wood with a 2x4 structure in between. Before the outer layer of pressure-treated wood was applied, a back tarp material was tarred to the infrastructure for added insulation and protection. 20 years later, the shed is still holding strong. Nothing sexier than a guy who enjoys building things, and it's total fun to see a pretty woman man-handle a saw. Fun video.
The shed looks good😊 You can use that old piece of corrugated tin to make a plunge pool in the creek below your land. Prop it up with rocks and it should be deep enough to sit in and cool off.😊
So sorry for all your troubles in building the shed but the final result is a thing of beauty. I am amazed at you two, there isn't anything you can't do together. Love to you both.
YOU BOTH ARE SOOOOO HARD WORKING AND SMART TO DO SO MANY THINGS ALL BY YOURSELVES. THE SHED TURNED OUT GREAT AFTER ALL. SORRY ABOUT THE WEATHER AND SO MANY OBSTACLES HINDERING YOUR WORK. NEVER SAW SUCH BIG HAIL AND THAT HAD TO BE SCARY. LUCA AND SARA, CONGRATULATIONS ON ANOTHER GREAT ADDITION TO THE PROPERTY. YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD OF YOURSELVES FOR SURE. 😚😚😻😻💕💕
Wow that rain was strong. I know that its been flooding in Germany. The tool shed looks fantastic! Even if it was messed up by the rain. I can’t believe your vegetable garden, it is so awesome. Every time you make artichokes my mouth waters. Big hugs and see you Sunday
I'm smiling at the out-takes. Sara, my mom was from Switzerland and even after living in the United States for more than 50 years she still got "chicken" and "kitchen" mixed up. I loved hearing you do that. It made me have a nice memory of my mom and her English.♥️ You two are fantastic! Keep up the amazing work! I can't wait to see where you will take us next! Someday Abruzzo?
Amen to that ❤️ I believe that Sara & Luca can do anything in spite of their good looks & worldly talents. God has certainly blessed them & it is wonderful to see a couple that are so much in love 😍
You two are amazing in everything you set out to accomplish! That storm in Torino reminded me of the hail storms we get in Colorado USA. It's like rivers of hail running down the streets. Glad your new shed dried out. Like always, beautiful people, beautiful work!♥️
The last time I did something new is cleaning, cutting and dehydrating freshly picked figs! Doing this while I am watching you two beautiful people!! 8 hours to see how they turn out!!
Nice shed. I think you need a few 2x4’s to hold up that roof. Also little Topo Gigio can easily get through the knot holes. As for all the rain and hail, I can’t believe all the horrible flooding that is going on all over the world and where I live we have no water and the western have of the US is on fire. Climate change is very real! 😕 take care and be safe. Ciao 👩🌾
Great job, I have been doing new projects all my life and I learn something new every time.the most important thing is that you built yourself and you cannot beat the feeling of archivement. The two of you always finish the project and always looks great.well done!!!🏴🍷
Both of you are just so amazing. Working together through all of your challenges just makes your knowledge of creating new projects easier. Well that depends on the projects. lol But do know that you keep getting better and better. You have made a great shed worthy of any tools.
The shed looks beautiful. Luca does excellent work. Big rain for the last 4 days here in Tucson. There's been flooding and fast water rescues. It's brought the desert toads out of the ground at my place . Amazing animals. They survive the 45 C heat with no water by living underground for 50 weeks out of the year. No rain last summer, so the little guys have been underground for 2 years and survived just fine. Incredible.
Laughing at the end with Sara, fatigue and another language, I understand, words can seem so strange sometimes! The shed is so nice, love the door. So terrible with all the recent flooding in Europe! Love you guys so much and every chance I get I share your beautiful channel and so good to see the sub count climbing way up as you deserve. I have a work colleague leaving the US today for a trip to Italy and I shared your channel espec as she'll also visit the Amalfi Coast and I wanted her to see your spectacular videos of the region. Much love always Sara and Luca!
The shed is perfecto! I thought your garden was happy that you returned in time to harvest. That storm was frightening we worried about you so glad you were not injured or harmed. We are beginning a new project we have never attempted before. Rejuvenating a fifth wheel that belonged to my in-laws. We are in our 60’s so it is never too late to try something new.
Great project! On one hand, it is so lucky to have rain. Here in California, there is none, and a million acres will burn again this year. We live with the constant threat of wildfires. Climate change is too real 😕Either drought or floods or hurricane or record heat…it’s a crazy time. Thanks for a little bit of distraction from it all, with your episode today. You guys are the best ❤️
Regardless of storms, a mistake here or there, you never gave up. It's a beautiful shed, & you should be proud of yourselves for persevering. Now, for something I did for the first (and last) time...a month ago I had all my teeth removed, while sitting in the chair for 4 hours without anesthesia, just medication to relax me a bit, along with Novacaine. The surgeon couldn't believe I pulled that off, but I did, so I can get my hip replaced in September. We all need to be brave & not give up. Love you both. Caio. ♥
It's a bella shed! And you persevered through the weather. My heart goes out to all in Italy who faced the dangerous and destructive weather. May God continue to bless and keep you. With love always.
The shed looks great. I think your problem with the floor is due to two reasons (from what I could see in the video): 1) You glued down the boards and 2) You left little to no room on the sides. These two things restrict the ability of the wood to expand and contract with changes in humidity (and rain directly on the boards changes the humidity fast). In your case, with the rain, the boards tried to expand (ie. become wider), but there was no room, so at the spot where the boards were least fixed to the beams underneath, they let go and were pushed up. I estimate that you will need about 1 to 2 centimeters of room between the boards and the sides of the shed and it would have been better to not use the glue on the floor. Hopefully it will now stay flat, but if you do have to redo the floor again, I hope my advice helps you.
you and sara's luck is like pat and I's luck on building things . take a one day project and the weather turns it into 3 to 4 days. but you got it done kudos to the two of you.
Great job on the shed 👍😊. You won’t forget that build,🙂. The weather has been off kilter every where, here in the USA (Portland, Maine) we are having heat waves crazily, last week we had a couple crazy thunder-lightening storms with hail as well. So glad your garden has been producing nicely for you, lovely dishes you can make. 😊👍🌷. Lovely, thank you for sharing. Adore you both💞🌷😊🌸
Lovely job Lucas great you have a try at everything and so patient (seemingly 😅) when things go wrong! But you get there in the end with the help of your love 😍🥰😘 xxLizzie
I so admire you both; the shed is beautiful 🤩 So sorry you have had such trouble with Mother Nature! It’s sad to see the devastation in Germany and Belgium and of course in Italy. Gorgeous sky and shed!! Bravo!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💖💖
I love your can do attitude ,a real joy 😊You two are a great couple ,work so well together.Loved the shed . Stay safe when you are back on the road.God bless ❤️❤️
I felt your pain during that build. But you are beautiful strong people. And your determination and strength throughout was amazing . Great job guys 🙏💋💋🤗
Hi beautiful couple ! I sure hope your roof is a LOT heavier than your walls and floor, and anchored well (maybe put chains from your soffit to the ground -in concrete).Your support cross beams and corner beams are/seem so thin and flimsy; one heavy wind storm and buh-bye! I hope that never happens!! Wishing you every good thing!!
Congratulations Italy!!! Some of the lumber from the old shed looks like it could be repurposed into some rustic outdoor furniture, like benches or a table.
Looks like a great workshop for Luca and Sara and their many to do projects. Really love the garden and the fresh veggies and spices etc. You really make a great team!
Glad you are safe, but the roof should of been done before the floor, but I do understand for safety why you did, and this is your project so you do you.
Dearest Sara and Luca, I nearly had a heart attack when I saw you driving in the “river” which was the street in Torino. I have friends in Germany who have been impacted by the flooding. So unbelievable! And thank our Lord that you got home safely! I am, as always, impressed by your building skills, especially when it was not either of your trades to begin with. The shed is absolutely beautiful, not to mention HUGE. Imagine - now Luca won’t have to keep running down stairs for his tools! When I saw the hail and wind in Torino, I feared the entire structure would be destroyed. I know that it was not fun to re-do the floor, but thankfully, that damage was minimal compared to what it could have been. I loved, as always, the video today, and send you both so much love. I just keep praying all stays well in Italy - for November!! XoxoX
Respect for your work on the new shed inspite bad conditions. Your property is growing slowly but surely. A green paradise ! Forza Italia ⚽️ 🇮🇹 bella vittoria per i vecchi torinesi Giorgio e Leonardo !
ITALIA!!! ITALIA!! ITALIA!!! Congratulations!!! ("I feel good!!!" da da da da da DA da) GREAT job on the shed....may I suggest some L-shaped metal sheathing where the wood meets the concrete (this will keep mice and other tiny creatures from making the shed their home...) and a layer of rubberized stripping under the wood and on top of the concrete so that moisture doesn't rot the boards....all of these things should be put in place with water-proof caulking...also, the roof needs twice as many (if not more) support boards because of the snow you get in the Winter....also, you need to look at the drainage of the roof and make sure the water or snow has an easy way to drain off the roof that doesn't ruin the nice boards on the outside of the roof that go around the entire building....I would take pictures and go into the lumber store and people there can make suggestions of what would be best...also, I would put at least three coats of the wood preservative on the outside (or more)....please, excuse my suggestions, but I want all your hard work to last for many, many years....
@hairyscotman That is so awesome that you went to all the trouble to make those marvelous suggestions. Many people, like myself would never have known the things that you suggested. They built such a beautiful shed, it would be such a shame to see it destroyed by the animals & elements. God bless you.
It's fun watching you work with the time lapse, you are inventive and precise. I see Torino didn't escape the weather, 1000 year storms, glad your efforts weren't totally ruined. (I hope you build a monorail down to your waterfall one day). Looking forward to Luigi again, but it is great to see you home, you blossom there like your garden.
Bravo Sara and Luka, :)))
16:10 🎉🇮🇹🎉🇮🇹🎉🇮🇹🎉 So happy for ITALY!!! you guys deserve this victory🦸💚🤍❤️
So close to 90,000! No one deserves 100,000 more than you!
Yes 100%❤️🇮🇹👍😎
I really wish 100,000 to this wonderful couple
Visiting Nicki and Carlo (Positano Diaries) seems like it gave them a bit of a boost. 100k not that far off now.
Well said!
WHOO CARES ALL THE DIFFERENT WAYS EVERYONE WOULD BUILD IT ....WE WATCH SARA AND LUKA TO SEE HOW THEY DO IT!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Did a good job . Very hard working Sara and luka .

Nice work Luca e Sara! You're getting so good in building stuff and this was a huge upgrade from before! Horrible about the rain and floodings and all the people who have died because of the bad weather! Be safe beautiful people and caprese I love that too *drooling*
Flooding all over Western Europe with devastating effects. Always marvel at your workmanship at whatever you both do - Michaelangelo's genes!
So happy to hear everyone is safe from the big storm xx
Love these Lucky Land videos as much as the travel!
To be honest, I like them even more than the travel ones!
@@bunnielynn777 Yeah when they're home I really like the "orto" ones.
That building looks so professional built. Luca and Sara , you two are amazing. You can do anything!
Add more load bearing wood beams to the roof for snow loading, the 5x5cm wood will bend and collapse under the weight of the snow. But nice shed.
Word of the day, perseverance!
Very nice shed. I love the door. BTW the word for what happened to the floor is the boards "buckled" because of the rain. :-)
Love your blue shorts Sara ! Go Buffalo Bills! Also you two are doing a beautiful job! Your talents are endless!
I know of no one in my sphere that is as calm, considerate and optimistic as you two are.

XoxoX
😘😘😘😘🥰❤️❤️
The shed looks great!! La vita e' bella ❣❣🇮🇪
After horrible weather you accomplished to finish your shed. It looks very nice. Job perfectly done ✔👏
A great save after an intense storm! The shed looks great. An amazing upgrade.
Luca you are so talented, love the shed. You are are great.
Yes, I like the shed. My mom wants a she shed, maybe I will show her this.
Respect for your work on the new shed inspite bad conditions.
Your property is growing slowly but surely. A green paradise !
Forza Italia ⚽️ 🇮🇹 bella vittoria per i vecchi torinesi Giorgio e Leonardo !
Last time I did something for the first time? Well, I just had my gallbladder removed...never done THAT before LOL ;-) Shed looks great! Good for you!
ITALIA!!! ITALIA!!
Thank you for all your suggestions and tips!! Really appreciate it
Too late buddy but nice try lol
@hairyscotman That is so awesome that you went to all the trouble to make those marvelous suggestions. Many people, like myself would never have known the things that you suggested. They built such a beautiful shed, it would be such a shame to see it destroyed by the animals & elements. God bless you.
@@evelyndunham5135 Not sure why you find your comment amusing, and a lot of @hairyscotsman suggestions can still be implemented, so no, not too late.
Wonderful work on your shed !! Even during all the rain . Love the chicken coop to shed ❤️🙏👍
Well done you two, well done! Through adversity one rises.
Bravissimo, Sara And Luca!!
Thank you making my Sunday complete. Love you both!!!
Luca is a very skilled carpenter 🔨
The caprese looked so good, I made it for dinner. 🌞
