Joe says to put a low plate of beer in front of the plants. The snails are attracted to the beer and then go in and they drown. I know how much you love all animals, but it’s either your garden or the snails. If you look on UA-cam for “how to protect your garden from snails and slugs with beer”, it will show the different ways. The Gazebo is amazing. What a beautiful job! You two are amazing! That does work I hear. Sprinkling a heavy coating of DE on the ground every few days works too. The slugs oooze their guts & then dry up, & the dog won't drink it, lol. I had a neighbor's dog drink my entire cup of tea with milk which I'd set down to sip when expecting take a break in a while.

Lovely Gazebo!!! To make a snail/slug trap. Take small shallow containers (recycle plastic food containers) dig them into the ground so the top is level with the ground. Fill them, but not all the way to the top, with beer! The slugs are attracted to the sugars/ yeast in the beer. They will fall in, and can’t get out. You can also put down a non porous material around the plants, and place a layer of salt on the covering. The salt will dry up the slugs. Just make sure not to water your plants through the salt layer. You can also get rid of them by encouraging certain animals into your garden. Toads, snakes, ducks, chickens and raccoons are some of the most common predators of slugs. Your best bet for healthy slug control, however, will be to attract toads and non-poisonous snakes to your garden. These slug predators will eat your slugs without potentially damaging your plants.

My dear friends I too have dealt with slugs and found that coffee grounds and lots of crushed (not to small pieces of broken egg shells ) keep the slugs from crossing over to the plants. You need to replenish them every few weeks. A copper wire on the ground around each plant seems to work. Our slugs are not as big as yours are. Also I used a shallow bowl add 1 to 2 inches of beer leave it in the garden near to there favorite spot over night and in the morning they are all dead. For your compost bins beer (yeast) & 5 oz ammonia to 5 gallons spray on the compost material and this will surly kill them. Make sure to mix the materials. Also it helps break down the material faster. Let me know how it works for you. Good luck. God Bless. Love your channel.

Nice! Maybe put some tarp siding that you can roll up when sunny and pull down when rainy and windy so you can sit outside even in bad weather and protect your seating.
That gazebo is perfect for gazing at the mountains. You need a windchime in the center! I'm glad you cut back on the coffee. Green tea has less caffeine and tastes better. Those narrow roads with straght down edges look very scary. Yikes!

I hear ginger root is great for treating migraines so maybe ginger tea would help. Put cleaned egg shells or diatomaceous earth from a gardening store around your plants to keep slugs from getting to your plants. Love the gazebo!

Using Beer really does work. I had a terrible slug problem in Kentucky. Beer did the trick.
