I have a question about his screen mode. I was always under the impression you should run in full screen and he is running in borderless. Would that make any difference?
Great stuff. Something to add: SSR will also reflect lighting under trees and bushes, so even with it on low, it will make seeing through them easier. The downside is large bodies of water look horrible on low. So, I highly recommend SSR and increased LOD (low LOD makes bushes blobby closer) on maps like Woods and Shoreline to make spotting enemies much easier.

This is the best video I've seen in a long time. Instead of just blurting out a bunch of settings, you actually explain what is going on. great work. Will share this for sure!
Thank you! My goal is to actually explain stuff instead of blurting it out as you said. Even though I learn all of this stuff via my own research and self-education, its brought a lot of people together so far to help fully figure all the FPS rumors out. Much more coming soon :D
@@klemintime1452 keep it up man, I learned alot just from this one episode and although I dont have a 3080, (3060 ti FTW3) I adjusted my settings to help with streets. Every other map is great on full settings.. Streets, as for many, can be a headache if your just trying to achieve reliability. What actually helped my system the most was an upgrade from 16gb to 32gb. I always thought 16 was overkill until I did that.. Making me think about trying 64!
@@cannedham3774 64 might still be overkill for now, especially if you're running automatic RAM cleaner in game. If you're running medium textures, you should have no issues with that. And yeah, RAM capacity isn't a problem until... well, it is lol. Thank you for watching dude :)
No idea why pepole are still getting intel for a tarkov specific rig. Just buy „X3D” series AMD cpu. 200 fps on most maps with 7800xt and 7800x3d. 3d cache on these cpus are really doing the job.
Anisotropic per texture is good enough, it is different levels for different textures. On forces all textures to use the higher setting, which can tank frames on maps with a lot of walls and buildings. Great video. All this stuff with rendering in higher res and downscaling it again was entirely new for me. Absolutely genius move to feed more information to those scaling algorithms.
Im running a 4070 ti + i7-12700f 32gb ddr4, 1440p. Just tried the DLDSR / DLSS, method and damn it helped (dlss is set at quality). Gained a solid 8-9 fps on shoreline. That is crazy
so this method is fps incrase? even without dlss or i need dlss? and what if i only do dlss and no dldsr does that mean i can get more fps but the shmirering would be there?
Thank you for this video! My Tarkov looked like roblox and my CPU was aways at 100% while my GPU standed around 30%, now my GPU stands about 80% and CPU 80% as well! I gained FPS also, from 30 FPS to 50 FPS while increasing my resolution and overall quality!
Stuck with my 2070 Super, me sad! Have a 5900X, me happy! Haven't played Tarkov yet, how do I get to the spot you are at so I can play with the settings? Thanks.
The 2070 super is still a pretty solid card. Copy most of the settings and drop into a practice raid. From there make minor tweaks until you get a solid balance between performance and visuals. Frames might be a bit low if you copy it setting for setting at the start.
Awesome video, makes me wonder how badly my gpu is running on all my games now lol especially on tarkov. If you keep doing this series and need another person to help out I wouldn’t complain! Im rocking a new 4080 with a ryzen 9 7950x3d
If you ever want to just hop in, sundays are PC Sherpa live day, so feel free to stop in! There will likely be a good bit of people but it doesn't hurt to have a wide range of PCs to work with!
I tried DSR + DLSS and it worked wonders. At first, DSR tanked my 3060 12gb to 97% average load, then DLSS Quality made it go down to 60% max without any significant quality loss. Thanks!
@@r3mxdnot necessarily. If you achieve and can exceed your desired frame rate and graphical fidelity, the optimal route would be to have your settings at the lowest GPU utilization while still retaining the desired outcome . If you’re talking maximum optimization, you also take into account thermals and power draw. Not pure max performance, max throttle 24/7
@@jovialvibes5962Having reduced GPU utilization will smoothen the frame pacing, but best case scenario for both input latency and frame pacing is GPU very near to 100% load but not quite at it. Or, if you have an Nvidia card, use Nvidia Low Latency set to On or On + Boost in all games that support Low Latency. So while "u want ur gpu at max load" is flat wrong, the truth is closer than you're suggesting.
I think I liked this format more than the previous one and it could potentially be less work for you, one could see the progression actually making a difference. I would have wanted to see a clear side-by-side before and after though, perhaps even tease it in the thumbnail?
I should've done that at the end, that would've been good. Next time I'll do that for sure! As far as the thumbnail goes, I experimented with doing it but found it a bit too cluttered and not really *pleasing* to look at (if that makes sense)
I've been hearing this one a lot, and since you left a comment I thought I would ask you this: Do you think the Tarkov experience is akin to gambling or addiction, and why or why not?
Out of the two, definitely more of an addiction. That rush of adrenaline you get on completing a raid and *just* barely getting out is similar to nearly overdosing: your heart rate spikes to unsafe levels and you begin to feint upon hitting the "raid finished" screen. That being said, you could argue that it is gambling, but the biggest thing you are gambling on is mental stability and time. In the end, we still come back though, so it is *definitely* an addiction. Thanks for commenting, by the way. Means a lot :)
Why not just use supersampling from in-game? It does make the image stabler. Maybe it differs from how NVIDIA does it, but functionally it achieves the goal without having to enable it for your whole PC.
DLDSR does it at less performance cost than straight-up resampling does. On top of that, I believe we found a workaround to setting it globally, as he changed the resolution in the game to achieve those effects. No change to his Windows res as far as I am aware.
thank you for admitting that no anti aliasing is the clearest. FXAA is doodoo. TAA is doodoo. i would highly recommend everyone to get used to the way no AA looks. it's pixelly, but that's what detail looks like. It's not a hard to acquire taste, and you'll HATE turning AA on when you're used to it.
overall vis can have a huge impact. 1000 is plenty. on most small maps i run 400 , because when you walk around in buildings, all those bushes and trees outside of the window 1000 meters far away really are not necessary to be rendered.. for me above 1000 tanks frames. Could be worth checking if 1000 or 400 is enough for you, because 5 frames more in cqb could make the difference. Offcourse, just upp distance a bit if you want to go snipe far.
MSI Afterburner + RTSS is the tool. Its fairly easy to install and setup if you just follow a YT tutorial; just a couple settings to tweak after install and the overlay works 👍
I’m running a R9 5900X, 4070Ti, 32GB 3200MHz CL16, and the game is on an NVMe SSD. Lighthouse and Streets just tank my FPS. One game I can run Lighthouse around 100fps, next raid, it will be 70, with drops below 60..
Could you touch on the "legacy scaling" settings for the DSR? I have an older GPU (Nvidia GTX 1660 blower) that runs tarkov decently. I've never messed with the DSR setting but it is currently set to 2.00x legacy scaling and its not uncommon for me to see 85-95% GPU usage with modern games and only 30-40% CPU usage (Part of this is due to build specs and cheaping out on GPU) however I can play VR titles with about 40% usage across both my GPU and CPU. Is the Monitor the cause of the DSR settings and high GPU usage? also do you think an upgrade to a RTX 3070 would operate within my existing specs without issue? One thing that really helped me with the low gpu usage was using 2x resampling. I got a few more frames and the game looked a lot better, even if you have a 1080p monitor.
In the video, Jigglez used DLDSR to achieve a similar effect to what resampling does at less of a GPU-hit. Both work, but DLDSR is the more flexible of the two options.
@@klemintime1452 yeah, I watched your video on DLDSR vs DLSS after I watched this video. Since I upgraded from my 5600x to a 5800x3d I solved the low fps and low gpu usage, but is great to know so I can help a few friends out.

@anyapaasd I don't think you should use dlss or dldsr. Being capped by the cpu, I had better results upscaling the resolution to 2x. It puts more pressure into the gpu.
Hi! Awesome video helping people. I discover a video from you explaning DLSS and DLDSR. I have to say that changed my life playiong this game and not only Tarkov, I can use this technique in other games looking absolutely awesome! I have a little problem that only appears on Tarkov ( The finals, hell let loose, R6 siege works ok). On tarkov if I hit Alt and Tab and then return to the game, the game backs to the native resolution ( from 4K to 2K) appearing NIS blue text in top left corner. When this happen , I have to hit 2 times Alt plus Tab to restore the resolution. Do you know why this happens only on this game. Thanks a lot , you do an increible work, I love how tarkov looks now and with more stable FPS.
If anybodys gpu usage isnt running 90-100% dont even turn on the game and look up some nvidia control panel tutorials and learn how to properly set it up, then you can play with all the graphics and post fx settings in game
Interesting enough I found that turning on SSR to any setting will actually boost dark areas at a distance. Why? I do not know but it does. Makes for better visablility than having it off. You can actually see this by going on the big red side of the land bridge on customs and looking across to the pipes you go under to get to RUAF. I personally set it to medium bc on low things like puddles can get shimmery and distracting, especially on interchange. Setting it any higher though doesn't look much different visually and there are no further benefits.
Great video man I really do need this same help I have no clue why my game runs super bad sometimes unplayable on streets and I have no knowledge on this
Are you running with 16gb of ram ? Is your swap/page file set to the same size as your ram ? 32gb is the best for streets and woods. Also, I didn't see it mentioned in the vid, but 'process Lasso' is hugely helpful, tarkovs 'use physical cores' setting is useless, it only works once, process Lasso forces all core usage.
@@no1baggiefanI have i7 11700k and get 60 fps average on streets (1070 to). Have heard process lasso doing a lot with and chips but it doesn’t do anything for me :(
Thanks! Remember if you need help the discord is probably one of the best places to find it. There's a lot of new people, but with that we can actually look at all your settings to figure out what may be the issue.
Already on the first point, it can be somewhat misleading. MSI Afterburner does not read the core utilization correctly if entire CPU is selected to be shown. In most cases the deduction you came will still be correct, but it can be misleading.
The game looks like clay because he is running 1080p. He could do HIGH textures on 1080p without an issue. That said, it’s good you introduced him to upscaling setting as Tarkov runs better @ 1440p on 30 series. Taking into account his knowledge about all this, first thing I would ask is if his Freesync is on and if its running on Borderless. If not, changing this will be the most noticable change to picture smoothness.
NVIDIA DLSS on quality has its own AA, which is better than any of tarkov's options, give it a try, at 1440p I can hardly tell a difference between DLSS quality or off when it comes to reduced quality.
I really liked the way you walked someone through all of the settings. I have a i7-9700k and a 3060 ti and I’ve been struggling to get my setting right for this wipe. My cpu is not overclocked so I’m wondering what I can do to get stable frames
Its definitely the CPU causing the inconsistent FPS as the load on the CPU varies depending on where you're looking in game (seriously- you can turn and look different directions in the center of the map and your FPS will be different). Its hard to say more without seeing exactly what youre config is and what you are running, so do join the discord and make a little post in the #help-forum and we can take a look!
@@klemintime1452 yeah I’ve been binge watching your videos to try and adjust my settings properly. I’ve been testing them on shoreline because it seems really intensive right now. Also I hate how when you scope in on most midrange optics my frames drop from about 90 to 55-60 in the scope picture.
You are also heavily CPU bound like Jigglez (the person in this video) was, and so I'd recommend to follow this partially to increase your visual quality. I also have CPU-bound settings guides on the channel already for reference too!
A common rumor- I found no evidence of this when I made my video discussing exactly that and Shadow Quality's impact when CPU bound. Based on my numbers, if there was any actual impact, it was incredibly minor.
I have the 10gb 3080 ftw and an i9 10900kf and have almost the same problems. Less than medium settings with mid 40s-50s fps on streets. All resourses never go over 40 percent. I want to throw it out a window. Haha.
GPU utilization was normally around 97-98% (which is likely reflex doing its thing). I was thinking on a similar wavelength to you until people with modern hardware (I mean best of the best) were reporting improvements too. HAGS can be important for the smoothness of some apps though, so some people instead resorted to running HAGS with LLM *instead* of reflex for a lighter limitation of the frame buffer that doesn't sync up the GPU and CPU as heavily. Your solution is also a good way as well, it really just depends on what is the best and most consistent latency reduction.
The fact that BSG knows that their little game is absolutely unoptimzed while doing absolutely nothing about it is absolutely horrible... The Open Beta that we still have, have come out in 2017, the development started in 2012. The engine hogs every bit of resource and yet they still wanna load up everything into the game and not make big segments whole.
Hello 4060ti 13400f Should i go for 1440p or stay on FHD? I also have 40% gpu use. I thinking of upgrade to 13600kf but its pointless i think if i go for 1440p? Not sure yet that 1440 is reasonable in other games (which i dont play lol)
so if i see this right with DLDSR itself is incraseing the fps? cause in the video the guy had 78-80fps in that spot and with DLDSR had 90-92 and with dlss 98

I have a 5600x with 3080 12GB and get terrible frames on Streets around 40-50FPS I tried some of the suggestions in the video but no luck, any thoughts?
That CPU is 100% the issue (and if you have 16 GB of RAM, that's also part of the issue). Reducing background tasks and debloating windows is your best bet.
I know when I crank my settings up in 1440p I get better frames. I have a 3060ti r7 5700x and 32GB ram. Lower settings make my game stutter and gives less frames.
That's essentially because the frame pacing is more consistent- GPU and CPU have relatively equal worktimes on their parts of the frame and so they stay in sync more easily. Keeping your GPU somewhat utilized is important, but it not the end of the world. Ideally, you want ~95% GPU usage so that you are just rocking in between CPU and GPU bound. Having your settings low like in your case makes the GPU have to "wait" for your CPU to finish making the next frame to start processing it. If you have GPU headroom like Jigglez did here, having some settings up offers you a more balanced experience *and* better visuals, and that's what Im attempting to help show.
i just got a new gpu and felt streets of tarkov got even worse performance, gpu utilization in this game is horrible, but if its a cpu bottleneck, why is the cpu also just sitting at 30 to 40%? shouldn't it be higher if its bottlenecked?
Good question- you still are CPU bound, as nearly all games do not utilize modern CPUs to their fullest extent (i.e 100%), as the amount of cores is simply not feasible to use at the same time for the same tasks. Most APIs / game engines can only use one or a couple cores at a time to actually send draw calls to the GPU, thus eventually causing *those* threads to be the bottlenecking factor (among other CPU pressures in the game). With that being said you'll likely see 6-8 threads being used, but only a couple being used heavily and this being the bottleneck. There are other factors to this like the CPU's cache, but that's the TLDR (and I don't want to bore with more text lol).
DLDSR x DLSS causes my 10gb 3080 to shit the bed on lighthouse and streets. It’s not consistently but I will drop me to 20- 30 fps intermittently, so I stopped using that
Hey brother been watching you for a while, i've even donated because i really benefit from your content. I'm rocking a 3090 & i9900k. I get stutters / micro tears randomly in my raids still after countless tweaks and optimizations. Anytips?
The 9900k is definitely the reason you're stuttering and getting those issues. Since you said you've done a lot of tweaks in the past I'll recommend something simple: make sure object LOD quality is nowhere past 3 and use Process Lasso to keep *other* tasks away from Tarkov's bottlenecked thread. If you show up any Sundays on stream, though, I am pulling more people for PC Sherpa-ing live instead of just through these videos, so hopefully you could be pulled there! (There is also my discord too, we can check your stuff there)
@@klemintime1452 What do you mean by "use Process Lasso to keep other tasks away from Tarkov's bottlenecked thread." I have Process Lasso but just to set CPU Priority for tarkov (set to high). What else do you do to keep other tasks away from tarkov's thread?
@@jnh8381 CPU Affinity is what I'm talking about there. I discuss it in my most recent Process Lasso video, but to give a general description I'll give an example with my PC: Because I have a 13600k, I have 6 Performance cores and 8 Efficiency cores. I know that the game is often bottlenecked by the CPU on one of the performance cores, so I can take background tasks that I do not want interfering and move them to the e cores. For instance, while I am streaming, I'll move discord or OBS to the e-cores so that it has less of an impact on my CPU-bound performance (as then the game has more room to play on with the P-cores).
@@klemintime1452but did you check each individual thread or did you assume he was cpu bound. Rtss will let you look at it on a per thread basis. I haven't gotten that far in my testing yet tho
@@rodiculous9464 Without even checking each individual thread, seeing the GPU usage below 100% signifies a CPU-bound scenario as that is what is responsible for delivering the work to the GPU. With his CPU though, I believe it was properly using all 6 physical cores on his CPU, giving him 50% usage in online (IIRC). If not and he isn't getting 100% usage on any core. Its almost certainly a cache/memory bottleneck then, as the cache on the CPU can't swap out things fast enough to keep the workload on the CPU up. Either way, its CPU-related.
I think it stems from the first time people use task manager and learn 100% usage = bad. Then they figure out what graphics cards are and figure they want both “usage” numbers as low as possible. I have a 1660 and a ryzen 5 and run streets fine with roughly the same settings. Imma try this dlss -un- dlss thing though. That’s interesting.
Tbh it only works well if your game is already running good, that’s the main issue, but ittl always have some input delay, BUT if your game is running well, it genuinely will appear/feel better if ur frame times are good -Person who knows nothing about frame gen (You’ll be at a pretty bad disadvantage because of the input delay, purely because its a multiplayer game)
I don't really recommend it as the increased latency and decrease in image quality can hurt your gameplay. If people like that additional smoothness, though, I can't really blame em. To each their own, but I do not personally recommend it.
@@aimLined That's... odd. I know this may sound crazy, but i think that number is referring to usage % and not utility %. I know, I know, "tf do I mean usage and not utility" but genuinely those are different stats that can get people confused (including myself, frankly). On the bottom left of process lasso, you'll see two stats: "% time" and "% utility". I think the % utility stat will be more in line with what you'd expect to see, as that takes into account the scaling of your processor's frequency while gaming. I have a feeling I might be able to use these numbers to figure out more about what's happening with Tarkov's performance, but for now I'm still learning about their differences. Let me know % utility looks more normal (and also let me know your CPU).
You can enable "Virtual Super Resolution" under Gaming - Display - select your main monitor - on off toggle near the top of the list. Then you can set Tarkov to Fullscreen and set your resolution to above native, and that will upscale the game similar to what DSR is doing. Obviously then using FSR 1.0 or FSR 2.2 to downscale if needed. FSR 1.0 will lower GPU usage without adding much blur, FSR2.2 will stabilize stuff like those flickering railings in the video but does add a bit of a blur behind fast moving objects, especially your own optics, grass, and the tops of trees in the wind. I run a 4k monitor with a 7900XTX, have the game upscale to 4224 x something and then downscale using FSR 2.2 Quality personally. Copy and pasted from my own comment replying to someone else asking about that

No idea why pepole are still getting intel for a tarkov specific rig. Just buy „X3D” series AMD cpu. 200 fps on most maps with 7800xt and 7800x3d. 3d cache on these cpus are really doing the job.
Just got one in yesterday (with 4070 ti super) and 32Gb ram. Max graphics on streets I got 140 fps like HOLY
I run a 5800x3D with a 6700xtgpu and its super smooth gameplay, streets is the only map i get under 100fps
Amd is better than intel?

AMD isn't better they still get 100 fps lol frame generation isnt real frames
Anisotropic per texture is good enough, it is different levels for different textures. On forces all textures to use the higher setting, which can tank frames on maps with a lot of walls and buildings.
Great video. All this stuff with rendering in higher res and downscaling it again was entirely new for me. Absolutely genius move to feed more information to those scaling algorithms.
THX bro, went from 75-80 fps in streets to 100-110 fps :D

I've seen hundreds of vids.. This ... THIS IS THE ONE
really liked this episode Klem. The format is much better IMO. Keep up the excellent work!!
Thanks for this content! It was a classroom!
Awesome! Glad to hear it helped :D
Having never played until today, how did you get to this part of the map to test the graphics? Thanks.
DLDSR improves a lot the visibility, thx man!

Thank YOU SO MUTCH I CAN FINALLY PLAY THE GAME
Awesome video, makes me wonder how badly my gpu is running on all my games now lol especially on tarkov. If you keep doing this series and need another person to help out I wouldn’t complain! Im rocking a new 4080 with a ryzen 9 7950x3d

I tried DSR + DLSS and it worked wonders. At first, DSR tanked my 3060 12gb to 97% average load, then DLSS Quality made it go down to 60% max without any significant quality loss. Thanks!
u want ur gpu at max load 😂😂😂 holy pc noobs
@@r3mxdnot necessarily. If you achieve and can exceed your desired frame rate and graphical fidelity, the optimal route would be to have your settings at the lowest GPU utilization while still retaining the desired outcome . If you’re talking maximum optimization, you also take into account thermals and power draw. Not pure max performance, max throttle 24/7
@@jovialvibes5962Having reduced GPU utilization will smoothen the frame pacing, but best case scenario for both input latency and frame pacing is GPU very near to 100% load but not quite at it. So while "u want ur gpu at max load" is flat wrong, the truth is closer than you're suggesting.
@@r3mxdredditor logic, there are way more factors involved, making a blanket statement like that makes you the pc noob
Really good video. I try to optimise more with latency in mind aswell, as aa/dlss/hbao etc all introduce more input lag into this spaghetti code game.
I've been hearing this one a lot, and since you left a comment I thought I would ask you this:
Do you think the Tarkov experience is akin to gambling or addiction, and why or why not?
Out of the two, definitely more of an addiction. That rush of adrenaline you get on completing a raid and *just* barely getting out is similar to nearly overdosing: your heart rate spikes to unsafe levels and you begin to feint upon hitting the "raid finished" screen.
That being said, you could argue that it is gambling, but the biggest thing you are gambling on is mental stability and time. In the end, we still come back though, so it is *definitely* an addiction.
Thanks for commenting, by the way. Means a lot :)
dlss plus dsr for life
Why not just use supersampling from in-game?
Great video! What did you use to track the gpu, cpu, etc stats on screen, please?
MSI Afterburner + RTSS is the tool. Its fairly easy to install and setup if you just follow a YT tutorial; just a couple settings to tweak after install and the overlay works 👍
@klemintime1452 nice, thanks man. I got msi, but never used rtss.
Maybe swap from a fan/defuse style CPU cooler for a liquid CPU cooler for ease of mind.

I'm probably gonna have to do this 😅 I've been having a crap ton of issues performance wise so yeah I NEED help 😂
Yeah I have also noticed that- I think I may bring that up when I do my next settings guide and try to grab specific examples like you mentioned.

All this being said, thank you for helping members of this community tackle these issues.

Awesome vid bro
Shouldn't be shadow quality the biggest game changer in a CPU bound scenario, since on "low" they get computed on the CPU and not on the GPU?
A common rumor- I found no evidence of this when I made my video discussing exactly that and Shadow Quality's impact when CPU bound. Based on my numbers, if there was any actual impact, it was incredibly minor.
I have the 10gb 3080 ftw and an i9 10900kf and have almost the same problems. Less than medium settings with mid 40s-50s fps on streets. All resourses never go over 40 percent. I want to throw it out a window. Haha.
mr klemintime, does REBAR have any effect on tarkov fps? is having it on or off any different? just wondering since u may have tested it in the past

I wish someone who knew what they were talking about would help me do this, how can I build a computer myself but can’t make it look good lol
i just got a new gpu and felt streets of tarkov got even worse performance, gpu utilization in this game is horrible, but if its a cpu bottleneck, why is the cpu also just sitting at 30 to 40%? shouldn't it be higher if its bottlenecked?
@@klemintime1452 do you run the 'use physical cores' option ?

I discuss it in my most recent Process Lasso video, but to give a general description I'll give an example with my PC:
Because I have a 13600k, I have 6 Performance cores and 8 Efficiency cores.
@@klemintime1452 Ahhh got it, makes sense. Thanks
Will these tips apply to someone with a 2070 super
It all depends on the CPU. If you're CPU-bound like him, you probably do have room to spare and can follow parts of the video.
How come youre saying he's cpu bound when he has like 35% cpu usage. Am i missing something
You can be CPU bound by a single thread (or via cache pressure on the CPU). The CPU does not have to be at 100% usage for it to be the bottleneck.
With tha headroom at 1080p he should have just turned up textures.
Thoughts on frame injection?
Tbh it only works well if your game is already running good, that’s the main issue, but ittl always have some input delay, BUT if your game is running well, it genuinely will appear/feel better if ur frame times are good -Person who knows nothing about frame gen (You’ll be at a pretty bad disadvantage because of the input delay, purely because its a multiplayer game)
I don't really recommend it as the increased latency and decrease in image quality can hurt your gameplay. If people like that additional smoothness, though, I can't really blame em. To each their own, but I do not personally recommend it.

i realy need ur help... i have a 6k pc and my fps is worst then this guy on streets.... pls help
Dude, ask away in my discord! We can all help you figure out what's up there :)
"Na-vidia" lmao
"What GPU do you have?"
"3080"
Proceeds to show a 3070 Ti in task manager hahaha
That was my Task Manager; sorry for the confusion lol
I see that now, my bad haha@@klemintime1452
does cpu priority affect performance?
Not really; you should be using those types of priority to instead keep other applications in check that are running in the background.
i get like 3 percent cpu usage and 40 percent gpu. i know nothing about pcs, just point click n be happy
Is that data from task manager? check with MSI afterburner or HWinfo instead and it should be more accurate.
@@klemintime1452 yes it’s seem accurate. those numbers come from msi afterburner and hwinfo
@@klemintime1452 thank you and will take another peak tonight
(Stupid) QUESTION: Do have someone with lets say: 180fps always an benefit against 50fps? I mean is a higher fps always better?
A 130 fps gap like you give in your example, yes, 180 is always better than 50.
If it's 180fps vs 150fps there is no advantage
3080 i710700 16gb ram don’t think my cpu is that good
The CPU and the RAM is probably hurting you there- and upgrading that significantly will require a full mobo replacement, sadly :(
HBAO takes about 30-50 FPS, Yet you left it ON
I used to use DLDSR but then i switched to and AMD card, not only does it not have it but AMDs anti aliasing just seems so much worse :/
Copy and pasted from my own comment replying to someone else asking about that
I wish I had DLD but I’m on a laptop and nvidia control I don’t have the option
You probably still have regular DSR though, which would still work (and so does resampling, but its a lot heavier!)
Why they fked up streets fps again with that update? It was running ok before
So did my guy just miss the cpu usage % in the top left or what? They're both floating in the 30's.
I followed this but my fps got cut in half I don’t understand lol
You might have become GPU bound by following this *exactly*, decreasing your FPS due to how hard DLDSR is to run. You need a lot of GPU headroom.
@@klemintime1452 I changed to use physical cores and turns off ssr and back at good frames and game looks great!
i really need help guys, i cant run more than 50fps on street like it does not go higher than that, but it also happens to drop quite heavy, my specs i7-11700F, NvidiaRTX3060 and 32gb of ram, i should be able to run the game with at least like 60 frames right? i tried literally everything processlasso, windows optimization you name it i honestly dont know what to do anymore please help
Note: 50frames with worst settings, i also tried taking load of the cpu turning on reflexions and stuff, so basically turning graphics settings up, it didnt drop it didnt go up🤷🏼♂️
My pc is like 10 years old, I have a 1070 and idr the rest but my pc runs streets. Only a tiny lag spike on load in and very occasionally otherwise it’s good for me
@@thaschwartz i dont get it every other game runs perfektly fine
@@lassigaboii9247Tarkov really likes fast ram. You have 32gb of ram, but is it running at 2133 or 2400MT/s? Windows Task Manager can show you what your ram speed is under the performance tab. I'm unsure if the 11700F even supports faster ram, I think it may allow 2933 or 3200? But I may be wrong and it allows faster than that, depending on the motherboard.
But latest update best texture what so ever is high keep getting better fps in high texture
What is the command in Tarkov to see the stats in top left corner ?
fps 1, fps 2, or fps 3 (the higher number, the more stats show up on screen)
That's MSI Afterburner and RTSS, not Tarkov. They are external softwares overlaying onto Tarkov
@@fentss oh whoops yeah top left is that program; i thought he said top right.
this is all offline mode with no scavs. my game runs excellent in offline mode, he needs to run it online though and compare
