I spent over 7 years straight incarcerated in several PA prisons. I've been out since 2005 and successfully walked off 9 years of parole. What helped me, among other things, was being given a chance to work despite my record. This place is a blessing for those who are truly remorseful. Muhammad went above and beyond in giving back. I hope nothing but the best and that he can expand and perhaps other employer's take notice! Thank you Bro.

Inspiring story! North America really needs more businesses like yours that advocate for, train, and employ individuals who were formerly incarcerated. The prison system here has never really been about rehabilitation and atonement, but about cheap labor for big corporations allowing them to increase profits. Prisoners are for all intents and purposes are modern slaves and their workshops are modern cotton fields. This needs to change and businesses like yours are gonna help make that change happen. Also your pizza looks absolutely to die for, if I'm ever in Philly again I'll definitely come by for a pie.

Never thought about the corrections system needing to recycle people to maintain itself. And to be incarcerated for 27 months on a six month bit just because the officer wouldn’t/couldn’t show up is a travesty. I hope they expand to own the PHL pizza market. How they’ve remained so positive in light of what each of them has been through is mega-inspiring.

Temperature and humidity outside/Inside, temperature of the water, the order in which you add ingredients to the bowl, length of time it’s mixing, length of time it’s left out before being balled etc etc….ton of things going into making it right every time.

It is poetry, the gaping fall trap of anything that is made with flours is that the simplicity of what you're going to make makes it difficult to get it right.
The whole talk about constantly watching the weather, humidity, salt - water - flower ratio constant adjustment, and things like this is also linear to how the Japanese make their udon, because it's so simple the ingredients, method and ratio should be right, these men by all means are poets that etch their work in their dough.

@@juicegodluis1196 Ok. I did go to the police department websites for both Philadelphia and St Louis. St Louis has had 157 murders this year and Philadelphia has had 430. While Philadelphia does have more murders in total, St. Louis has a population of 304,709 vs Philadelphia's 1.582 million. These population values are for the city's themselves, not the entire metropolitan area since we aren't concerned with their suburbs.
If we use those values to calculate the murder rates per 100,000 residents, we get a value of 51.52 for St. Louis and 27.18 for Philadelphia.

Blackmen who have a "past" they're not proud of, need to be shown in a light that they're not people you just give up on and throw away. The way black men are vilified and shown as irredeemable, especially in this country is disgusting and it's how Amerikkka continues to perpetuate this false narrative about us! What I appreciate the most is the sense the peace and calm that has come over these brothers. A 180 degree turn from from how they "used" to be. It just goes to show people can change (if given a fair chance) for the better and become productive tax paying citizens! 💯🙏🏼💪🏼💪🏼Thank you for humanizing our brothers! Respect!
