What a great sponsor delivery. Short flash in the pan segments, then back to the vid. First time I've seen it done this way. Honestly I absolutely hate commercials or just things that interrupt what I'm watching or listening to. Big reason why I opted in to youtube premium. I wouldn't mind a sponsor or commercial segment if they were done in this manner tho. Great idea.
My Sportster stories - so many. I was a personal trainer back in the 90s and had a Softail at the time. My client (female) pictured riding with me and asked me if I could train her to ride too. I happily offered. So she found a used 1200 that a little dude owned. It had a big cushy seat, small-med sissy bar, buckhorn bars, and the stock exhaust with the dreaded crossover pipe. She asked me if I could help her make it "look cool". I loved that project. We got her a gunfighter seat, drag bars with a short riser, ditched the pipes for drag pipes, re-tuned it for the pipes - and I think we put a Mikuni on it too, and lastly, we dropped the entire bike about an inch. It was a legitimately cool looking little bike after all the changes. She loved it. Unfortunately, she dropped it one too many times and totally lost her confidence. Anyway, at some point, I decided to finish college, so I sold my bike. She was very happy to let me ride hers. I loved it. You could fling that bike all over the place. Very fun to jump on. After I graduated, I built my custom (replica Softail frame) and she was ready to sell her bike, so I instantly found a buyer for it - a gym buddy of mine's first Harley. He rode it for a while, then sold it to another young friend of ours for his first bike. So that bike stayed among friends for at least 10 years before we lost track of it. It never gave anyone a lick of trouble. It had the "Evo" style motor.
I've been turned off of Harley ever since i learned i could buy 3 brand new bikes for the price of one used Harley . That was many many years ago . The older i get the less i like them and for more reasons yet the initial reason still holds true . Price ! Most people who buy a Harley are buying the name and not the bike and i believe those days are over . Would i ride this bike ? Yes . Would i buy it ? Only if i was paid to buy it .
The best thing about them is they will always break down and get stolen if you leave them on the side of a road. Then you can collect the insurance, learn from your mistake and buy a real cycle.

They really improved the Road Glide since the Twin Cam 96 days, but there's also something nice about the older models that have mechanical analog displays and no riding modes.

Harleys have ALWAYS been more expensive. Even going back to the 80's. My dad went to buy a new Lowrider in 83. He ended up buying a new Magna (based on price). He settled, instead of getting what he wanted. He didn't buy his first new Harley, until 1987. It was an FXRS, close to $9000.00 if memory serves. Do the math on that in today's money. Still expensive.
When I was still on active duty in 1980, my friend Chris bought a brand new 1980 Tour Glide from Manassas Harley, I believe. At the time, it was pretty amazing. Rubber-mounted, 5-speed, and turned on a dime.
I've been riding since the mid 70s and Hardley is the only brand of bike I've never had any interest in. I'll stick with my 82 VF 750( V45 ) Magna thanks.
Road glide knocked the street glide off the pedestal when the “king of baggers” became mainstream a few years ago. Everyone thinks they are a bagger racer with their hiked up bags. Unfortunately most guys buy them and put the same basic stuff on it like all thrashin supply everything then claim they made it different. It’s becoming a pretty basic bike.
I'd totally snag another '00-05 Dyna again, but man, the extra oomph the M8's have is definitely nice. I like the old stuff, but the new stuff is pretty nice too.
I ride a 05 road king I hate all the electronics because every bike and car manufacturer the electronics for all the fancy stuff will last max 5 years then the repair bills sky rocket if you want to keep the bike as all the electronics goes bad.
Who would have thought that so many "manly men" were so afraid of DEI. Apparently hundreds of years of white male (I am one) domination were fine , but try to level the playing field makes them whine like puppies. I currently ride HD, Honda (2) and Husqvarna and aren't the least bit put off by initiatives at any of them. I just like to ride and be positive and respectful to others. Keep the shiny side up!

6:42 I traded in my 09 softail custom and bought a 2024 street glide, I have my skull cap helmet in the saddlebag and my wife put her half helmet in the other saddlebag. I test rode both the street and road glide and liked the feel and look of the street glide better, I'm 6'3 and comfortable on both bikes but I don't like the look of the shark nose fairing and I felt like the screen felt further away which I also didn't like the street glide feels closer but not in your face close.
How is a vehicle review not an ad? They’re literally explaining a product so you know if it’s for you or the things it has that you’re gonna want somewhere else…but they don’t offer(or in a different way) If that’s not an ad, explain to me what is…
There is ZERO wind protection out of that fairing. It will rip your head off. Everybody is reviewing it with a full face helmet, which I don’t know anybody that wears one on a bagger. Replacing the front windscreen is a must first day.
Full face or not you get wind buffeting. My head shakes all over the place with those shitty stock windscreens. I replaced mine on my 14 and 19 street glide with clockworks windscreens. No more wind buffeting
Pretty compelling bike, but Im still partial to my 2017 CVO Street Glide in red and black. Purchased it at Rocky Mountain before the motor company forced them out of business. It's got a stage 4, upgraded shocks, basanni exhaust, and zipper cam. And yeah, it's got a hydraulic clutch, and its twin cooled. HP is 132, and torque is 147 foot lbs. I had all the changes executed by a legendary techie here in Colorado over the last seven years. The bike is still cherry. It looks brand new. It rides great and sounds great.

Even though that is my favorite type of bike, I only got like three compliments, two years which I didn’t really care about. But the moment I bought a Harley St., Bob I literally had kids walking up to me like I was in a 1950s TV show saying hey Mr. neat bike. Literally everybody that came around would complement my bike. That’s all Harley is really sound and looks. It’s an image, and to be honest, that’s most of America.
Oh...the new Pride Glide in blue. And only $30,000+ so affordable for everyone.

Great idea.
Extensive and informative, my brother.
Gr8 job!
The next video that UA-cam has automatically queued-up for me is titled "every issue i've had with the 2024 road glide" 🤣
Wait till he puts a few more miles on that POS and his issues will double and triple. And Harley just recalled more than 41,000 cycles!
Check online there are 3000 brand new RG at dealers right now
My Sportster stories - so many.
It’s funny seeing you at my local Harley dealership. I hope to run into you sometime
Good point!
If you think thats bad, just ride one and you'll hate them even more.

Love my 2023 road glide special. No reason to “upgrade” and be a beta tester for a first year model.. plus not a fan of the massive cost cutting tablet on my dash. I prefer the older style gage clocks and the BOOM GTS system has been awesome.
"They keep getting smoother." Well, it would be pretty hard for them to go the other way.
Excellent video. I just purchased a 2024 Road Glide and really liked the extra info of your review. Thanks for sharing.
That "cubby" on the seat is to add a back rest.
They really improved the Road Glide since the Twin Cam 96 days, but there's also something nice about the older models that have mechanical analog displays and no riding modes.
Why does it look like a bobblehead?
I have a 2024 CVO Road Glide ST and the little plastic piece sealing the gas cap already cracked. Also I'm getting random lights on my dash about Mode errors which doesn't let me select riding modes
Have gone in for an update?
Did they make it intentionally ugly as shit?

@DirkDiggler-p5q thank God I don't have one
Your bike is uglier though
They are hideous- like a lot of their new bikes. They are overpriced. And from what I'm hearing, MANY quality issues.
How did I miss the camera at the back of the bike? What was it attached to?
I hate the computer screen. If I wanted to look at a computer screen I'd just play on my PC. Computer screens should not be on motorcycles.

wasn’t harley marketed as a working class bike before? now it’s so expensive 😂
Now everyone knows where my sandwiches are…
Will the CarPlay work with any Bluetooth now or do you still need the bs harley Sena?
The turned over a new leaf alright. Surprised it's not painted like a rainbow

Road glide knocked the street glide off the pedestal when the “king of baggers” became mainstream a few years ago. Everyone thinks they are a bagger racer with their hiked up bags. I would be embarrassed to leave the house with that fairing.

I test rode both the street and road glide and liked the feel and look of the street glide better, I'm 6'3 and comfortable on both bikes but I don't like the look of the shark nose fairing and I felt like the screen felt further away which I also didn't like the street glide feels closer but not in your face close.

There is ZERO wind protection out of that fairing. It will rip your head off. Everybody is reviewing it with a full face helmet, which I don’t know anybody that wears one on a bagger. Replacing the front windscreen is a must first day.
Everybody I know wears a full face helmet on a bagger. If you aren't wearing a full face helmet on everything then you got issues.
