Hey Rich - looks like a nasty workout. I know you don't need tips as you're already super fast, but next time you're with Meg, watch her row, and you'll spot that she keeps her arms straight as her legs drive into the machine. Much more effiicient, and then pull. You're maybe rowing like this to take the effort off your legs when you're racing, in which case ignore me - but if you want to look at increasing efficiency and power in your rowing - and saving your arms, then keep 'em straight at the leg drive.
@@RichRyan - Thanks for not telling me to piss off and mind my own business!! When you get it right, you'll feel your butt get lighter on the seat as the power goes from legs, through posterior chain and into the handle. "Hanging off the handle". Ps - love the podcast. There's something about the three of you chatting that's really captivating listening.

Don’t forget that Echo Bikes are easier at elevation though! 🤔
😂 I'd be happy to push the pedals harder in exchange for easier breathing.

Great tip! I was surprised how sloppy my return and catch can be - straight arms from here out!
